The driveway is on a slight hill. Im glad the townhouse wasnt located on a steep hill. The house was clean. The owner was hospitable. U have to wait for the owner to communicate. Anyway, I felt comfortable.

The house was wonderful for our stay.
Thank you very much!

Great place and great location.

Jim met us as we arrived. Made sure we knew everything we needed to know. He had decorated the home nicely. Even had real plants! It met our needs. I'd stay again if i needed to be in the area! I let Jim know about what i thought needed cleaned and I have now doubt he took care of it.

Place was exactly as described, perfect for our short 2 night stay for Chiefs game. Close proximity to Interstate, large yard for our fur babies. Thanks Jim

Was exactly as advertise and it fit us perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood

The owner lives next door and uses the basement to store items it appears are needed daily. We were dismayed when we heard the garage door open randomly while eating breakfast. It was also disconcerting that the door to the garage could not be locked because the doorknob was covered in duct tape. Although the owner is very nice, i would have rather not known he was so close and accessed the property so readily while we were there. It made us feel very uneasy and it was very intrusive. The property itself was nice but we will likely not stay again simply because we knew just how easily the owner could come in at any moment (we questioned every single noise in the night).

It was a lovely place to stay—close to everything! Be sure to coordinate your arrival with the host. It doesn't have an access code; you must meet the host to get the keys. But we loved being there for three nights!

The owner of the property was great. He was a wealth of knowledge about where we should dine and he was right on every time we asked. He also was very prompt in responding to us. The city of Kansas City is the best city we have stayed at for a long time.

Our stay was great. The house has a lot of character and the back yard is shaded and comfortable.

Our stay was short but we had a comfortable stay and it was convenient to the downtown area.

Holy smokes, what a great location!
Upon arrival, Jim greeted us at the garage door and gave a brief tour of the place. A welcome sheet was also given with local information and information on the house (Wi-Fi). The driveway is a tight fit but it works. We traveled with our dog, under the impression the backyard was fully fenced. The side of the house does not have fencing so we had to be out with her. There is no divider between your half and the other half of the house, in the back. Not a big deal, just was a bit of a surprise.
Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to something out of our and the hosts control. Jim kept us updated but it could not be resolved that day.
Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a quite neighborhood in a great location.

The posting was misleading. The house was not cleaned, there was dog hair all over the floor, bed, pillows and throughout the house. We found bugs under the mattress. The bedding had clearly been used and not changed. The bathroom had mold all across the ceiling (not shown in pictures in posting). One of the bedrooms had a ceiling fan that was very wobbly, the same room had a hole in the closet, exposing the pipes. There was a faint smell as you walked in. The overall cleanliness was very poor. The pictures are very misleading as this is a duplex, rather than a single family home. There is not 3 levels as the first level is the garage that is packed with the owners belongings. The backyard was unkept/unclean. The check in process was odd as he had me message when we were 30 minutes away and proceeded to walk us through the entire house. Our experience in the past has been that we would get a code and check in on our own. This could be a nice place in the future but not at the moment from our experience. We were not there very long as we had to locate an alternative place to stay after driving 9 hours.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property owner was very accommodating and met us as we arrived. He was very cordial and was eager to answer any questions we had. The location was perfect on a busy but quiet street. We had zero problems here. The only issue that may arise for someone would be parking and inside stairs. This is an older property so the driveway is very narrow so we couldn’t actually park by the garage. Not a big deal. As for the stairs, they are very steep. An older person or someone with leg issues could have a hard time getting upstairs. For us, it was a non-issue. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Kansas City.

This was the perfect location to stay for our weekend of wedding festivities. It was close to everything and our host was very accommodating.

Great location! Very clean. Lots of amenities. Comfy beds!! The only thing we would change: The garage is not available. Not a big deal but would have been nice to know ahead of time. The driveway has stone walls on both sides and we couldn't get out of the truck. Made it hard to load and unload our stuff.
We didn't have check in information but when we got there, the owner was there to show us around. So that was nice. We had wanted an extra hour to check out but the owner didn't respond so we left at the appointed check out. He did respond later but we were gone. 10:00 is pretty early for a check out. Especially since we were out late the night before.
Overall, it was a great stay. Just wanted to point out some small things that would have been nice to know ahead of time but didn't affect our overall stay.
The owner is super nice and we were happy to have met him.
