The staff are great and speak English very well. The cleaning lady’s are so sweet! I’d stay at Liberty’s every time. Right on the Conde where all the fun is and down the street from the park.

This is always my go to place when I need a hotel in Santo Domingo- The gentleman at the front desk is always very nice and polite and welcoming, and the cleaning ladies are very sweet and do a wonderful job

Tissue missing but staff kindly solved the problem upon call. The area looks safe. Some noise at front street can arise in the morning. The location is convenient.

The property is situated in the middle of Calle Conde in whats called the old city. You can walk to many restaurants and small boutique shops. Theres also a grocery store on the corner. The hotel premises are kept cleab and it comfortable. However what i fidnt like was electrical interruption s. The elevator would stop eorking as well as the air-conditioning . But, aside from little things in the room, I'd stay there again. Also, and this is important. Try to get rooms on the back side becsuse its extremely NOISY and busy on the corner starting at about 7am! Very lound at night too!

There is a laundry list of items I passed to the owner who is American. Over my 6 days stay, I encountered the following: No shower head in shower (fixed in 2 days), shower switch from rain head to wand broken (whole trip), no coffee maker for 4 days. Lock (latch) on hotel room door broken, fan not working (fixed next day), no hot water (1 day), elevator not working (1 day). I presented this list to the owner when he arrived but got no response or discount for these inconveniences.

Can’t beat the price for the location and the service that’s provided. Second time I’ve stayed there and will be returning again

I would highly recommend the Hotel Casa Libertad as an extraordinary option for a vacation in Santo Domingo. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive at all times. I would like to recommend that they provide hotter water. I will be a returning customer.

My first time staying there… I had no hot water in the morning time I keep asking them to do something to the hot water tank which was frustrating. My cable went out for a day. The staff during the day is nice and helpful I would only stay there again because the price is good and your by all the attractions on the strip it’s just a basic hotel nothing at all special about the property on my next trip I probably would choose other accommodations.

One of the newer properties around the conde so overall not a bad option to stay at. Hot water in the shower takes a while to warm up and the pressure is not the greatest but you get used to it. Also had to request room cleaning one day when by 4 PM it had yet to be done. But again based on other accommodations close to the Conde, I’d definitely stay here again
