Excellent location in a lovely part of the world

Superb location on a very quiet estate with a small car park at the rear, with a space for each apartment. The bed in the main room is big and very comfortable - we slept so well during our stay! There’s lots of storage too. There were only two of us so we didn’t use the other bedroom but it looked lovely. There’s a lovely big bright and airy main room with the kitchen at one end and a living room area with big sofas at the other end. The apartment was very clean. There is a very big TV but it only has Freeview so bring a laptop and HDMI cable if you want to watch anything else. It was mild when we were here, and the storage heaters kept the apartment a bit too warm! But I think they’d keep it lovely and warm even in winter. The bathroom is a good size with a shower over the bath, that looks ancient but is very powerful with a steady flow and consistent temperature.

The apartment looks a bit ‘tired’ in places with the laminate coming off some of the kitchen cupboards, the kitchen tap drips, and the outer pane of one of the windows is cracked. The sofa is a bit lumpy too. The kitchen is quite well equipped but lacking a few things that we’d have liked, e.g. a working cafetiere and a sieve. Also, there was no welcome pack that most cottages provide e.g. a pint of milk and few teabags and sachets of coffee.

Close to restaurants, shops and Bamburgh castle, easy drive to Holy Island and Alnwick.

Proximity to town Price was good Very quiet spot

Needs some minor maintenance work and mattress protectors on beds but other than that it was ideal for our stay

Nice place and apartment. Needs appliances checking and curtains to ensure a good nights/morning sleep.

Location, size, cleanliness were all great at the apartment

It’s summer - only blind which meant as soon as the sun was up we were up. Could do with curtains to. The oven also didn’t work so the cheese on toast I wanted couldn’t be made.

Lovely stay at a convenient apartment for Bamburgh

The location of this apartment is great a couple of mins walk from Bamburgh center. It has its own dedicated parking space, quiet neighbours, kitchen is fully fitted with all the utensils needed,

Damaged window needs repair, WIFI instructions are incorrect but you can find the WIFI router in the master bedroom wardrobe. No dishwasher

Lovely position very close to Bamburgh castle. Nicely appointed and spacious.

Lovely bamburgh getaway.

Reasonably clean. Good price. Quiet area. Close by to castle, beach, pubs etc. Apartment very spacious and quite modern furniture and fittings. Car park space at the back of the apartment, but there was space at the front of the apartment to park the car. Would stay again.

TV remote didn't work for the TV. The WiFi info in the welcome pack was wrong, had to locate WiFi router in the room to connect to the WiFi. The hover didn't work so had to be on hands and knees cleaning with the dust pan and brush. Bed and sofa could be more comfortable.

Ideally located, lovely area and adequate for short stays.

Fantastic location. Around the corner from the coast and bamburgh castle. Couple of eateries and pubs within walking distance. Apartment was clean and spacious. Adequate for our needs

There were a few little niggles. Twin room had 2 very low beds in (ideal for children but not adults). Broken window in kitchen. Missing a little something with no tea or coffee. A welcome pack would have been nice - bread, butter, pastries etc

A nice break in a great location. A pleasant apartment which would benefit from a little attention.

Location was terrific. The apartment is pleasant and kitchen well equipped.

The apartment appears to need a little TLC - paintwork tatty in places (indoors and outside, including front door - which provides the first impression), walls in the entrance scuffed, stairs carpet grubby, the kitchen sink and drainer was dirty and we didn't feel comfortable using it until we'd been to Seahouses to buy cleaning materials, bathroom sealant dirty/mouldy(?) for example. Basically needs a good clean and some details attending to.

There were several minor faults with the property - lightbulbs not working, no loo paper provided, loose mono bloc tap in kitchen sink that had hot/cold pipes reversed, one soft seat worn down significantly (had to put a cushion under it to level it off).

Overall an ok stay, but basic things overlooked such as failing to provide toilet roll.

There were two key safes which was a little confusing but once we found the right one we got the correct keys without any trouble. Convenient parking round the back, felt safe leaving the car there. The living room was comfortable and clean.

No toilet roll in the bathroom which was very disappointing. Especially for my pregnant wife after a 3 and a half hour journey to get there! Had to drive 10 mins to the nearest shop and buy our own. Some of the cooking utensils and cutlery were dirty. The kitchen tap was very wobbly and needs securing properly. The headboards in the bedroom were very grubby and need replacing.

Spacious and comfortable apartment in great location.

The apartment is huge! Great open space with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. Bedrooms are also large. The location is perfect, lovely and quiet but just a five minute stroll to the pubs in the village.

If it had outdoor space we would give it a 10.

The accommodation was ok but the place needs a good update and clean, the seat covers could do with a good clean too.
