Comfortable bed and furniture, inside and outside. Incredible view of the lake from enclosed back porch, patio, & lawn! Well-appointed kitchen to make breakfasts, lunches & dinners. Saw Buttermilk Falls, too. Thank you for sharing such an awesome get away!

From the views to the magnificence of nature, it was just incredible. It was an incredible relaxing, beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. The property is immaculate. The owner is stellar. It was just the most relaxing and just what the doctor ordered. It was everything it was described as and so much more! The surrounding neighborhood the neighbors. The people I ran into the stores, the Whitehaven market. It was really a beautiful stay. Completely all around except for just a few glitches at the end. But all in all it was absolutely five plus plus stars. Beautiful! Highly recommend

This property is even better in person than in the pictures! The kitchen has everything you need to make some simple meals including salt, pepper, and oil. We loved exploring the lake and having a fire in the fire pit. The collection of games was a nice distraction for the kids.

The area was typical for a mountainous stay. The property was the perfect amount of space for me and my partner. It was clean on arrival and check-in was seamlessly easy. I loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer. I would definitely book again!

Spent a day with family at the cottage. The accommodations were perfect for our group of four. The cottage was much bigger than it appears in the posted pictures, and so very cozy! The sunroom with a view of the lake was one of many highlights. And though the property isn't exactly secluded, it felt like it was; indeed, the location was very quiet and free of any raucousness (albeit in mid-December). We definitely hope to stay at the Chipmunk Cottage again!!

We had a great time and felt right at home. This cabin exceeded our expectations. It is a very clean and nice cabin in a peaceful little community. All of the amenities needed including bicycles and boats. We would definitely return to this cabin.

Chipmunk cottage is just lovely. The 4 of us enjoyed a few pleasant fall days. It was fun to view the neighborhood fall decor on our walk around Penn Lake. We traveled to a nearby hike in Bear Creek to view the waterfalls. Would certainly recommend the cottage for a getway.

The cabin was clean and easy to find. It is close to neighbors but still has a spacious lawn and lake access. Great for families or couple get-aways. Has everything you need minus sheets and towels. Has games, water activities, tv and dining table. Listing was accurate and helpful. Checkin was smooth. The porch has awesome views. The patio is great for parties or sitting out in the day or evening.

Great place for a short getaway and put away stress away. Very clean property and excellent neighborhood and safe too . It was our first time using the Vrbo app. And going away for such a short time. I will highly recommend to my friends and family.

Everything was beyond our expectations for a convenient short stay across the lake from our daughter's wedding venue. Our cabin provided a clean, comfortable, quiet place for us "older" folks to relax and enjoy the stunning sunrise and sunset. Our other adult children enjoyed kayaking from their cabin to ours along Penn Lake. We look forward to visiting again next year.

4 of us booked this place for a long weekend getaway from the city! Great location, close to everything but secluded. I forgot some toiletries and got an instacart delivery which was very convenient. Pictures don't do the cottage justice. It was a lot bigger than we expected. Beautifully appointed inside and out with all of the creature comforts of home. We had a lovely, relaxing weekend on the lake and enjoyed exploring the area. Emma was a great host and super responsive. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommend.

The cottage was great. Everything worked like it was supposed to. Check was easy. House was super clean. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment. Emma quickly answered a few questions I had. She was very accommodating and easy to work with. Enjoyed the small lake and the kayak and paddle board. The house had everything needed to make my stay perfect. Loved the porch! Loved the patio! Would definitely rent again.

We just loved our stay at Chipmunk Cottage. Being right at the lake was so peaceful and such a blast for our family. My kids enjoyed the fishing and various boats supplied. We had everything we needed! Kitchen was very well stocked, decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfy. I would have brought more paper supplies had I known there was no dishwasher, but I missed that, no biggie. Emma quickly responded to all my questions and was so kind throughout. We can’t wait to come again!

The cabin is in perfect location, clean and comfortable and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We spent most of our time swimming, kayaking, and staring at the lake, enjoying the peace and quiet, with occasional bunny and chipmunk sightings:). We’d definitely stay in the cabin again and are highly recommending it. Enjoy!

This booking exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, very cute, very cozy and well appointed. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my sister in law. We enjoyed the provided kayaks, loved walking around the lake, the food store right in town had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
