Wolf Suite: This newly updated suite is located on the ground floor level has 2 queen beds, sleeps 4 guests. It has a full bath with shower tub combo, and parking for one vehicle. Additional street parking is available near the property. The kitchenette is equipped with an "apartment size" (5-7.5 CU FT) refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Each room at the Bucking Moose comes with a smart tv and available streaming apps. ** There is no satellite or cable channels offered in these units. **

The West Gate of Yellowstone National park will be closed from March 15th to April 21st 2023 to prepare for the summer season. The West Gate will then remain open for the summer season from April 21st until November 1st 2023. Stayed at the Bucking Moose for two nights. Comfortable, clean and warm…listing was accurate. Checkin was easy, check out was a breeze. Park located 1 block away, great for running dogs. Great location on main road, easily walk a few blocks to restaurants and shops. Convenient store located a block away is the late store, good to know when staying during times of early closures. Great place, will definitely stay again! Thanks Sweet Home Montana!

This unit perfectly suited our needs for our recent trip to Yellowstone. Our room was clean, check in was easy, allgreat location, just a few miles from the entrance to the lake

Bucking Moose is 1,000 stars. There aren't even enough stars. It was adorable!! Perfect location, beautiful furnishings, just amazing!! I am already planning my next visit.

Walking distance to West Yellowstone's commercial heart, and close to the the National Park West entrance. Clean, well equipped and cosy, perfect as a base for a three day exploration of the Park.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at. Right outside of the west Yellowstone entrance this spot is close to the Main Street of West Yellowstone. Clean, easy check in/ check out process and it looked exactly like what I saw online. I would highly recommend

A great place to stay in the downtown area of West Yellowstone. Clean, very comfortable beds, close to park entrance and set up nicely. Only downside TVs were inoperable. I would highly recommend this property

Exactly what we needed. Please be aware however that you need to walk through one “bedroom” to get to the other, which we weren’t expecting and was not great for privacy purposes. Ideally, there would be common space outside the bedrooms but for the price/space, I don’t think we could have done better. Walking distance to main drag, stocked bathroom, and easy access to Yellowstone park. Thanks so much for everything!

The room is exactly as the pictures show. Not big but clean. Our room was at the back of the property and the Wi-Fi didn’t get back to us. This was very frustrating.

The location was perfect and the cabin was great. Checking in was frustrating because there was no one around to ask questions to. When I found someone, they didn't speak English. Parking was a problem. Management said park on the street, I got a parking ticket for parking in a faded yellow zone.

The parking was a bit challenging with a full size SUV. We had one person in our group who uses a cane and the step up to the porch was a little big for cabin 7.

Yellowstone gate is within walking distance of this quaint home away from home. We had unit #7 and it was the perfect unit.
It was clean, rustic and matched the atmosphere of the town.

Great place to stay in West Yellowstone! Charming accommodations that were even better than expected. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Huge bathroom, great mini kitchen, even a table at which to eat or do some work. There was a fireplace, though we didn't use it, a front porch where we could have sat to enjoy the sunset, and we were in walking distance to eating and shopping. West Yellowstone is a great location for access to Yellowstone National Park and Bucking Moose Cabins are the place to stay! Excellent host!

Clean, very convenient to Yellowstone and walking distance to most of the town. They should provide some cups though. Only room I’ve ever been in without any cups.

Coffee pods provided were unusable in the one cup coffee maker. Dish cloth and towel, but no dishes or utensils.

None of the tv’s in the entire property where working, some units mentioned they didn’t have internet. we called 2 different phone numbers with no return and 1 of the numbers said they would call back within an hour. There were appliances; ie. electric fireplace, lights and appliances that are plugged into extension cords, ( that is an electric code violation). The access letter noted to start laundry and dishwasher but was obviously a generic letter bec this unit had neither a dishwasher or washing machine. The trash was finally emptied before our depart after 3days.there was no ice, the cupboards were empty. The parking was grossly inadequate. Not to mention it was Way overpriced and would have rather moved from hotel room to hotel room, bec the unit was basically a room with a few extra chairs.
