Stunning lodge a little off the beaten track but so worth the effort! The location by the watering hole with the resident rhino and regular animals is amazing. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. The rooms are total luxury and feel so relaxing to sit and watch the weather and environment. They give you an extra key for the air conditioning as the tent gets hot. Food was very good and plentiful. We loved it - the safari drive was amazing and we saw so many animals- just a sore bottom after 7 hours ! But incredible

The lodge was beautiful and the chalets were impeccable. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to visit again in the future! A few areas of recommendation: We wish that they offered shorter game drives- like the sunrise and sundowner drives that many lodges offer (the only ones they offer are 8 hours long which gets to feel quite long). We did request a shorter drive and we wish they would have worked with us on finding another tour/driver that could accommodate it. Instead we were pushed to try to work with our driver and other guests on the only game drive they offer, but this didn't work and our drive was almost 9 hours long. Additionally, the game drives aren't included in the room rate. One member of our group has to eat gluten free and we notified the lodge of this well in advance of our arrival, but for the first part of our stay the gluten free alternatives consisted of plain raw vegetables or a simple fruit salad... for what we were paying, this was really disappointing. The gluten free options did improve throughout the stay.
