Entire cabin is exclusively for guests
Central location in Gatlinburg that is within 14 minutes from the Smoky Mountains National Park, 7 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg (restaurants and grocery stores) and 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge.
▲ The house is located quite high up - prospective guests should take note that they will have to drive up a steady incline and the roads are winding and curvy. When arriving first time, we recommend arriving during daylight for the best visibility.
❆ For bookings in winter time, you should expect to encounter adverse weather conditions (snow, ice, etc) and slippery roads. It is the guest's responsibility to be prepared for this - bringing a car with all-wheel drive and winter tires would be wise.
- No parties.
- No smoking, vaping, inhaling, injection, or general usage of any recreational drug or substance anywhere on the property at any time. There will be a discretionary fine of up to $500 if there is evidence of drug or substance use during your stay - this includes (but is not limited to) odors in the house, leaving behind substances or litter e.g. cigarette butts, leaving behind paraphernalia, etc.
- Pets are allowed on a case by case basis, with advance written permission from the host only. A one time pet fee of $275 will apply for up to 2 pets.
- No blasting of music or excessive noise.
- Each month the house undergoes preventative treatment for pests. Sometimes rodent traps are present in the house - they are explicitly installed in areas where they cannot be accessed by animals, kids, etc. (e.g. behind the fridge). For this reason, appliances are not to be moved. All other treatments used in the house are non-toxic to people or animals.
- There will be charges for excessive cleaning and maintenance if rules are not followed and the house is not left in good condition like you found it. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive trash, leaving dirty dishes / food, dirty grills, dirty hot tub, broken items, etc.
Bears:
It's not unusual to see bears multiple times during your stay. I hope you are able to! Bears are usually docile and uninterested in people. They frequently wander through the neighborhood to look for trash during the day. However, never forget that they are big, strong, wild animals and you should always assume they are dangerous.
1. Never feed the bears under any circumstance or leave food or trash outside. Bears learn to expect food and come back to the cabin to harass guests. This can make bears behave aggressively towards people and become a danger. It is not safe.
2. Never provoke bears. Do not approach, attack, touch, or otherwise engage them. If you unexpectedly encounter bears outside, slowly and calmly distance yourself from them. Carry air horns or bear spray when outside.
Never put yourself between a momma bear and her cubs. A momma bear will get very defensive of her cubs and you will be in danger.
3. Lock your vehicle at all times and remove all traces of food! Local bears are smart and know how to open car doors! They can smell food inside very easily. A number of guests in the area periodically have their vehicles broken into and can suffer damage to the interior. Don't make this mistake!
4. Keep all house doors closed and locked! Especially the front door. You will have food in the house and bears frequently walk by the front steps. Please follow this rule! If bears get inside the house, we will have to hold you responsible for all costs involved to remove the bears and fixing any damages! Not fun for anyone!
5. Be careful with small children and animals. Don't let small kids play outside or leave any animals unattended. Never let them near bears.
We aren't responsible for property damage or if someone is injured from a wild bear. Please make sure you follow the above rules, local and government recommendations and guidelines, and use common sense.
Minors:
For those bringing children/minors with them on their trip, an adult must supervise them at all times. Kids are never to be left alone in the house, for any reason.
We are not responsible for any incidents that arise because a child was not supervised properly.
Hot Tub:
1. Hot tub is for adults only (18+).
2. Make sure to shower before entering the hot tub!
3. No drinking of alcohol in or before entering the hot tub. This is very dangerous as alcohol amplifies how much the hot tub increases your body temperature and can lead to fainting, dizziness, etc. This is for everyone's safety!
4. When finished, please make sure to replace the cover on the hot tub and turn off the jets.
Please do not add anything into the hot tub water. This includes, but is not limited to soaps, lotions, oils, bubble baths, etc. These can damage the tub machinery and require a lot of time and work to flush from the tub for the next guest. If our cleaners have to clean up from your party not following this rule there may be extra charges from our cleaning company.
The hot tub must be completely filled above the jets for it to function and heat properly at all times. Before each stay, we ensure the tub is filled properly. Do not remove water from the hot tub or allow the jets to suck in air at any point - this can damage the tub and prevent it from heating. If water unintentionally splashes out, please ensure the water level is restored above the jets using the hose nearby.
The hot tub is meant to be powered on and remain on continuously (it goes to sleep when not in use). You should only be interacting with the electronic keypad on the edge of the tub for everyday use. Do not touch the hot tub shut-off breaker or attempt to disconnect it from power except in an emergency.

The pictures don't do this property justice - gorgeous views in a beautiful house that was perfect for our extended family vacation. All the en-suite rooms were gorgeous - so there was no fighting over who got which room - and the bunk bed room was fantastic for the kids!! We spent the most time in the amazing great room and deck - still cant get over the scenery! Andrew was a super responsive host who answered all our questions - and his house booklet was amazingly thorough - it helped us plan the perfect vacation. We couldnt ask for a betyer place for a smokies vacation!

All family member that walked into the living room looked around at the nice furniture, then glanced up at the huge 2 story picture windows and said “Wow!”.
Every single person, it is that stunning. The porches and outdoor space and garages and 2 kitchens and game room and gazebo are all awesome. And we lived the long dining table in the main room to fit loads of family members.
Worth the price!

17 Family members vacationed together for a wonderful week in Gatlinburg. Ages 11 to 74. So much to enjoy inside and outside this beautiful home! We took advantage of the awesome game room, fire pit, horseshoes, hot tub, 3 levels of decks with the most beautiful, peaceful views! Wonderful location to Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all to have space and privacy. Minor issues were quickly attended to by the host.

LeConte Estate was wonderful! We had a large family group of all ages and it was perfect for gathering, cooking, playing games, watching TV, the game room and playing outside. The kids in our group enjoyed an outdoor Easter egg hunt, campfires and the waterfall and pond was the highlight! Catching frogs and tadpoles was so much fun! The house itself is beautiful, clean, comfortable, lots of bathrooms, bedrooms, spectacular scenery and not far from the grocery store and Gatlinburg. And of course the bears! They wandered through the yard and stopped to get a drink from the pond a few times.. big thrill to see them! Perfect place for a much needed family reunion!

My family and I stayed in this cabin the week of a thanksgiving and it was a group of 15 of us I ncluding two infants and one elderly and the cabin is perfect ! Every couple had their own room and bathroom. There was so much space and so many things to do in the cabin. The view is breathtaking ! The surrounding outside area to the property to sit , walk, hike or just relax in the swing is perfect. It has something for everyone. The town was 10 minutes away and groceries as well. Parking is spacious, check in was simply and any questions we had while we were there were responded to immediately. We are planning to go back once a year and have our family reunion there. It was truly a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy. If you’re reading this review, book it you won’t regret it !

Back in February of this year, I asked the host if I could have an intimate wedding ceremony at this house. He said yes!
We booked the whole house for 21 overnight guests. This house was huge and beautiful. The bedrooms were all comfortable. There were instructions for everything to make for an easy check-in and check-out.
Andrew was insanely responsive making it easy to address any and all questions. Our wedding ended up being amazing and beautiful. We are so grateful that got what we wanted out of our special day.
Thanks so much for everything!

We were totally awestruck with this home the minute we opened the door, from the home itself to the view that just godsmacks you when you walk in. This beautiful home was everything the listing showed and more. The bedrooms are large and well supplied with linens and very comfortable king beds. We didn’t use the bunk room, but it as well was huge! The kitchen on the main floor.. well I could only wish to have one like it one day! Everything we needed to cook was there. All family areas are huge. The game room was well used by all of us, as well as the small full kitchen downstairs. The outside area and property is well maintained and gorgeous. Truly a peaceful and serene area perfect for alone time or enjoying the hot tub or fire pit area. The views from the main floor deck is breathtaking, and each bedroom having its own deck and privacy was very nice. I can’t say enough good things about this home, it’s honestly the best rental we’ve every used in the Smokey Mtns area, and will absolutely rent again. Word of caution, roads are twisty, hairpin curves and steep. Also… bear!! Someone has dumped trash in the woody area beside the home and we did have company!!
Thank you Andrew for your quick responses, checking on us and especially for sharing your piece of Heaven with us!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We really enjoyed our stay at LeConte Estate. Andrew was very responsive to questions and kept us well informed after we booked and until we left. The view from the back porches and private decks are amazing. Spacious, lot's of room for cooking and grilling which we took advantage of.
Beds were super comfortable. There is a nice outdoor firepit and landscaping is done up really well.
We even had a black bear visit the neighborhood which the kids were pretty excited about!
If you are looking for a great spot for your extended family to vacation together... this is a fantastic option. Would do it all again.

Andrew was quick and easy to communicate with. The cabin was nearly perfect inside and out. We have vacationed in the area for many years and I think the view from this cabin might be the best yet. Absolutely stunning. The outdoor areas around the cabin were thoroughly enjoyed by all the kids, ages 4-13. The game room was a big hit and every TV in the home is huge. Each bedroom is nearly identical and very comfortable. And the bunkroom was perfect. We'll be back!

I cannot say enough how nice it was for everyone
In our family there were 4 couples and 11 grandchildren ranging from 7 months to 13 years old.
If I had one recommendation it would be the A/C was set on 70 degrees and thru the night it did get down to 67 degrees????
Please note I would definitely recommend and would
Go back again.
Thank you for a wonderful get away with the Family

This home has so much to offer a large group. The outside areas as well as the views are stunning!! The home has a great main kitchen with lots of prep area, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and room for multiple cooks. A second full refrigerator in the game room and a third in the garage. The dining table seats 12 comfortably. Home photos are taken with a fisheye lens which make them appear larger in photos but the living areas and bedrooms are generous. The home could use some general maintenance but kudos to Andrew who was quick to respond to our few hiccups. Very comfortable, relaxing retreat from the madhouse of downtown Gatlinburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you for sharing your home Andrew!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was such a BEAUTIFUL cabin. So spacious! Beautiful out door hang out space. The game area was so much fun. They had a variety of games available even a good amount of board games and card games. Jacuzzi Was great. The rooms and beds were so comfortable and We loved how each room had its own bathroom. SO convenient! Dining area and living room space is perfect! Table sits a good amount of people as well as the couches. The kitchen has pretty much 2 of everything. So grateful they had 2 Sinks since it was a good 21 of us that went. Glad we were able to double team those dishes with those 2 sinks. The space in the kitchen was just overall amazing. The cabin also had a very peaceful home kind of vibe. The drive way also had a lot of space! Over all it was a great stay and would love to come back! The owner as well was VERT helpful and always quick to respond to messages. We also accidentally left one of our bags at the cabin and they were so kind to help us in mailing it back to us. Do not hold back on booking this cabin because I promise you will NOT regret staying here! Thank you so much again for giving us such a wonderful and unforgettable stay!

From the moment we walked through the front doors and were greeted by the breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains, we knew we were in for a special experience. The house itself was even better than the pictures - beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group of 14 to spread out and relax. We really liked the kitchen because it was fully stocked and made meal prep for our large group a breeze.
The house was also super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
All of the furniture was absolutely gorgeous. The common areas were perfect for gathering as a group. We had kids of all ages in our group, and everyone had a blast.
Couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation home. We will definitely be back!
