Stunning views of Seoul and great amenities. Very foreign friendly!

Really beautiful hotel. AC isn’t the best, hotel room gets extremely warm.

The staff are friendly, their bakery and cafe are great! I would give a 10 star if I could.
4.0 / 5.0
So yes the rooms are unique, the pool beautiful but the property is on a boring artery. The interesting part of Gangnam is a 12 minute walk away.

The staffs are undertrained and some of them are even RUDE and ARROGANT, it was the first time we got YELLED AT by hotel trainee and their associate, until their manager came to apologise. It was ridiculous!
You can tell the hotel hardware comes with design aesthetics, however, service attitude and their food at restaurant was terrible! Both pools are much smaller than what the photos illustrated (shallow as well, at 1m height) and was very crowded already with small groups of guests.
They don’t even have TV in-room (except for their family suite with the highest price package) and their central controlled air-conditioning made the room very warm (keep going at 28 degrees) and cannot be adjusted by ourselves, we needed to complain to the reception until they adjusted the temperature to 20-24 degree. Worth noting that their hotel towels are quite torn, unsure about their cleanliness.
Overall experience was BAD!

Loved our stay here!

Staffs are good, but I guess the hotel regulations must be very strict. I meant, it was not their employee’s fault.

Loved the property and location :) only thing was the room was very warm and even with the air on max it still couldn’t cool it down.

Hotel conditions are excellent and beautiful. Everything was wonderful except comforting, WiFi was weak only lobby and rooms worked well, stepped outside the hallway or elsewhere had no signals. Check out at 11:00am, no late check out will charge even request extra 1 hour. The room temperature was very hot to us, we were hard ly to breathe. The thermostat setting max 24 degree Celsius and you need the room key to activate. Every time we went out come back the cooler restarted again then it take a long time to cool, anyway the room was hot. Hotel locations are not good spot for tourists. This hotel cater more for local couples and families. It’s beautiful we rated 5 stars but comfortable level 3.

The hotel is great for couples looking for a lovely hotel. Not so suit with a couple with a child. Public transport bus and train is some what close but is not very convenient. Not much to do in the area, need to travel to get to all attractions or activities. Hotel looks lovely and facilities are good.

The property is central air meaning you cannot independently control your room temperature. AC is only activated in the summer months. If it’s a hot day in the spring, your room will be extremely hot (ours was 31.5 C at night with the windows wide open). Almost unbearable to stay or sleep in the room. Under “Amenities” on the Expedia page it does list “Air Condition” but only when you scroll to the bottom of the page will you see a note about AC is only available in the summer months. When I asked the hotel if they could help make the situation better they just gave us a small portable fan and just kept saying sorry. Cool looking hotel, but will never stay here again. Extremely disappointed and feel deceived.

We absolutely loved our stay. This was a great hotel for our family trip to Seoul. The hotel has so much to offer. The room was spacious and our family of four was comfortable and didn’t feel like we were in each other's space constantly. The only negative was that it was unseasonably warm in Seoul this weekend and the heating/AC system was still configured for the winter so the room got a bit toasty at times. We would highly recommended this hotel and can’t wait to stay again.

The most disappointing expert with the hotel in Seoul. Not welcoming, noisy etc.

Beautiful open loft style rooms. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are spacious, and the rooms and hotel were sparkling clean. The rooms were rather warm being up in a loft and wish it could be cooled down some more. There’s a certain quiet tranquility about the place.

For a luxury hotel, the service surely is lacking and was very disappointed even though the rooms are beautiful. The last night I was there, I realized that my headphones were missing. I let the front desk know and they couldn’t care less. I wasn’t expecting a refund of any kind even though the headphones were around $300 but their attitude was unprofessional and quite shocking. My complaint was completely dismissed and ignored and it’s problematic that an employee at this hotel is stealing. This hotel really needs to work on their customer service if they want to live up to their name.

I think the front desk staff could be more professional.

OVERALL: Disappointing, had much higher expectations at this price point and for what looks like a hyped new opening. Won't stay here again, there are much better options.
It's like watching a designer - albeit a very good designer - play luxury hotel. Everything looks fantastic, but behind the veneer it's just not right:
SERVICE/STAFF: Feels like they're practising; was greeted and told curtly to "come back at official check-in time, we'll hold your luggage and do your check-in then, bye"; later at check-in was very disorganized, stuff lying around everywhere.
They'll milk you for everything, the room rate really just pays for the bare room. Want a toothbrush? Pay. Want toothpaste with it? Pay. Softdrinks? Pay. Want bathsalt? Pay. Any of the amenities: pay. But no hair conditioner, no matter how much you'd like to pay for that.
Make sure to bring your own!
The stuff that is free, like tea bags, in turn, is the cheapest crap you can get (like Ronnefeldt teabags).
HOTEL: Spectacular rooms, absolutely gorgeous. Very comfy bed.
The outside door to the hotel is locked (?!), there's a phone you need to ring...it's a whole thing to just get into the building, very annoying, no idea why feels like a prison, not a hotel.
LIGHT SLEEPER ADVICE: Some lights, like a charger on the nightstand that can't be turned off, some glowing aircon panels, nothing too bad; aircon sound and street noise also okay.

Nice optics, lacking substance. Please do better.

Our stay at Ananti at Gangnam was nothing short of amazing. The room, the environment created, the facilities. We loved it and would highly recommend. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about rude staff but we didn’t experience that at all, I think they’re still quite a new team and are handling things well. The cabin itself was a dream, the beds were so comfortable. The room was a bit on the warm side, especially when sleeping but when we spoke to someone else staying there they said their room was nice and cold so it might depend on placement, or we weren’t working the aircon right which is a high possibility. Overall, if you get the chance to stay here we would say go for it.

This hotel was incredible, its beautiful, comfortqble and much bigger than what's typical for Seoul. The only downside is the location its not close to the main area of Gangnam or the metro.
There is a car service that'll drop you off (one way only) within 3km and a bus stop nearby.

I would go other hotel like andaz, voco, four points. Amenity is not satisfied and there is no tv.

I really like the hotel's facilities and service, but I had trouble checking in because taxis didn't want to enter the underground entrance.
