Magic Christmas in Thromso

The flat is simply awesome! It's exactly as presented in Booking, and even better. The three bed rooms are extremely large and comfortable. The view from each of them, in the winter season, is magic as well as the living room: it's the perfect location for a family or group of friends! The atmosphere is warm, thanks also to the beauty and the quality of the furnitures as well as the presence of a fireplace in the living room. The host has been simply exceptional during our stay: we chatted with Joakim every time we needed and he has been available to give his suggestion to improve the quality of our stay. We had a fantastic Christmas season in Thromso, thanks also to this beautiful location In the end: it's warmly reccommende!

A good location with potential

Nice apartment with 3 bedrooms and a living space, situated at 1th floor of a house. At half of kilometer you find a big store of the neighborhood (EUROSPAR), including preparated food, with resonable prices. Good location to visit nearby attractions: the Artic Cathedral and the point of start to take Fjellheisen cable car or for Sherpatrappa stairs (panoramic view to the city, hike to Storsteisen peak, walk on the hills). If you want to visit centre of Tromso, you have bus (station almost cathedral, bus no. 26; bus no. 24 to the airport) or can walk on Tromsobrua bridge. Free parking. Friendly owner (very good communication).

Improvements needed. Wardrobe instead of extra bed standing against the wall. Some extra space to put anything like clothes, suitcase, water / juice / beer glass, phone, so. Probably in living room, need AC equippment (temperature until 26 Celsius degree in day of our travel). The appartment wasn't very clean either, possibly because we entered 2 hours earlier than the check-in start time.

Many positives but spartan

Most comfortable beds of our 5 night trip and plenty of pillows. Good WiFi connection. Good communication with the owner and access. Parking a bonus and close to bus stop, supermarket and cable car. Dishwasher useful. Appreciated the food available, eg tea, coffee, milk.

No toiletries to be found despite in the description. Towels very small and scarce. Nothing in bedrooms other than beds, so nowhere to put anything; clothes, suitcases, water glass, phone, etc. Several lights not working presumably needing new bulbs. Seemed like a minimalist bachelor pad, with lots of potential but a little disappointing. Microwave would also be useful.

Great location and beds

Spacious apartment with really comfortable beds. Location is perfect for a tour up the Sherpatrappa, but also easy to reach the city centre by bus. Contact with the owner went smooth and quickly.

It missed some basic necessities, like a night light next to the bed and a place to store your stuff. The only wardrobe was filled with pillows and blankets for 2 extra beds standing against the wall, in addition to the six fixed beds, which really aren't necessary in an appartement otherwise equipped for 6. Rather have some extra space for your clothes. The appartement wasn't really clean either, especially a lot of sticky stains on the kitchen cupboards.
