- een mangrovebos strekt zich uit over de gehele lengte van het resort. Het is dus allesbehalve een mooi strand jammer genoeg.
- het personeel is erg vriendelijk, maar spreekt niet voldoende bekwaam Engels.
- de aangeboden activiteiten zoals massage was ondermaats. Jetski was erg leuk, maar was een 30-40 rijden met de taxi van het hotel af. Dus ook niet ideaal…

Wonderful staff at Bintan Exotica, very helpful. A nice quiet resort to chill out and relax. We had a nice little villa facing sunrise on the beach area. All the comforts of home. Activities you can partake in or just swim in the pool to relax. Breakfast options included and a varied lunch and dinner menu, mainly Asian but a few western items. We had a lovely five nights to relax on Bintan in the middle of our 2 week Singapore vacation from Australia.
The hour from the ferry might bother some people but we enjoyed seeing a bit more of Bintan. Our driver (extra fee for pick up/drop off) was punctual.

The room is very spacious and clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful resort. Thank you for really making an effort to please your guests.
The pillows are quite high and the bed is soft - which is comfy, unfortunately I need a firmer mattress for my back. I did wake up with back pain due to high pillows and soft bed. This is not a complaint - I am just mentioning that comfy does not always equate to healthy :-)
It would be nice to have a little shop where a person can buy some snacks during the day.

Staff were very friendly, the rooms were the most comfortable I’ve been in a while, the beds were top 10 comfort! the view was great, access to the beach and swimming pool was great, everything was superbly comfortable.
It was slightly far from any town and it wasn’t easy to do anything much out of the resort without arranging extra transport. however, for the purposes of staying at a resort and be happy and comfortable, it was superb!

Es war leider überall am Strand ein wenig Müll. Das heißt man könnte drauf achten, dass der Strand ein bisschen besser Sauber gehalten wird. Der Umwelt zur Liebe. Das Frühstück war ok. Es entsprach meinen Erwartungen.

The greatest aspect of the property is the people who run it. From the manager Inselson, to Fina, Okto and others made us feel like a family.
In terms of facilities - the layout, the swimming pool, the mangrove trees - together they made for a great mood. The Joglo cottage we stayed in had outstanding decor, and was the perfect setting for our couple experience.
And not to forget the half-bust man, who make for an intriguing sight in the night, with sea waves lashing around him. :-)
It’s work in progress. So, it’s possibly a bit unfair to say “didn’t like”. But they have a bit of finishing work going on at one end of the property. Once done, I expect that section to look as great as the rest of the property.

+The staff is the very best! Everyone I interacted with was very kind and accomodating. Great breakfast (huge menu served over lunch + dinner), gorgeous grounds and landscape, many nice spots to sit and relax, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The ocean was clean and swimable. Quiet atmosphere.
-I was disappointed because the pool and beaches were not usable when I was there (still areas to sit and look at the water and places to swim easily). The pool was very green (they said it was safe to swim but I wasn't sure), one beach had construction (when this is finished this beach will be very nice), and the other beach had a ton of seaweed and a bit of trash. Once these things are resolved, I believe it will be a perfect place.

The location is nice if you would you see more of the island and get outside the “resort” area. The surrounding beaches are nice - we swam in the ocean and enjoyed the pool area a lot. We also biked (complimentary) to the top of the peninsular so it was nice to see the local area. Everyone is very friendly.
The restaurant is great, the food is delicious and the staff were all very friendly.
We love the beachfront villa for a more rustic experience. The mangrove park is stunning and there’s beach hammock chairs right above the water to relax in.
We enjoyed the realness of the facility - we didn’t mind a longer dinner wait when the restaurant was busy. We brought snacks as the shops nearby have limited supplies.
It would be great if the ground staff started to remove some of the rubbish that builds up around the mangroves. This resort has so much potential!!!
Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise as the night fisherman are going out to sea during the night.

The staff was exceptional, very attentive and super nice from the moment we arrived! Let us change the room to a better one easily, and always greeted us with a smile!
Great post-stay help from the manager Icon, who went all out to make sure little transport hiccup was solved immediately!
The only thing was the beach area - extreme to the right and extreme to the left - it could be swept and prepared for guests to enjoy as it was full of seaweed and some rubbish

The staff, including Caroline, Inselsen, Granny, and everyone else, go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.
Amazing vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indonesian food and delicacies for both breakfast and dinner buffets, which was amazing considering my wife is a vegetarian.
Nice to order menu, but it is only available till 3pm daily.
Absolutely amazing, Granny with her recipes that are served and her smiling face to explain them plus to give candies to kids.
They have made the place very kids friendly for families with kids who stay, and it was clearly visible during our stay.
There is no room service currently. It's a new place (opened just 4 months back), so their plan of action is to introduce this in the near future plus a in house bar.
The Wifi is quite choppy, so don't expect to run your OTT apps without buffering every few seconds or be on social media throughout. I saw it as a chance to disconnect. I don't think it's something the restaurant can do much about. Just hope that it improves in the future.
The toilet seats/pots were constricted in space, so it might be a challenge for larger people to sit comfortably (only in the room we stayed).
The resort is secluded, so don't expect to walk around to nearby cafes, restaurants, etc. Anything would need you to hire a cab. We were fine without any of it as we stayed just for 2 nights.

It's a little off the beaten path compared to popular destinations like Bali, but the tranquility it offers is second to none. The hotel is new, staff is very welcoming, and my stay was filled with great moments.
Though it's a bit of a distance from the ferry terminal, the stunning views more than make up for it. I lucked out by visiting during the off-peak season, almost felt like I had my own private beach. The quiet, serene surroundings truly allowed me to connect with nature and unwind.
I also tried their massage services and it was superb. All in all, had a really good time staying at Bintan Exotica Resort. Highly recommend Bintan Exotica Resort, especially if you're looking for a peaceful retreat.

Tranquil environment and it’s a good break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I tried a few solo activities, my favourite activity was snorkelling. The staff is helpful and is very friendly. The room was new and quite clean.
The resort was quite a distance from the ferry terminal, however, when I arrived and I saw the beach, it washed away my tiredness and stress.

the service was extremely disappointing, with every demand being a challenge for them (we waited 2h to get our lunch). the room was really not clean, we found the hairs and shampoos of the previous customers.

1. The staffs were friendly and they served us coconut welcome drinks when we were checking in.
1. My wife and I got bed bugs bitten the next day after we left the resort. My back got bitten, whereas my wife got both her legs bitten.
2. During our stay at Bintan Exotica Resort, the service was very slow. We waited very long for our dinner and breakfast.
3. We also didn't like not only the resort taking us 1 hour to reach, but they also don't have any activities at their resort. Very quiet and got nothing to do.

Good breakfast and great beach. The resort is facing the south east which is especially wonderful for star gazing and astrophotography.
It is a little far but the overall staycation somewhat counterbalance over it.

Lovely quiet resort with 2 good beaches and a lovely swimming infinity smimming pool
Our beach house had the most big comfortable bed and we could look out to sea from our bed in the morning.
The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean.
The staff were fantastic and always on hand to help. Free bikes were available for exploring.
The food was amazing and perfectly cooked. You can order seafood from the market if you wish. The lobster was the best I've ever had!
The resort is child friendly and our grandson loved the rocking horse, see saw and slide!
All in all this was the perfect place for a 4 day get away.
