About this house rental
COOL CHANGE features a reverse floor plan with 1st floor master, while kitchen, dining /living area are all on second floor. The 15' x 30' great room with vaulted ceiling opens to a large 24' x 10' veranda on which you can relax, while enjoying soothing gulf breezes and surf sounds (and even a teasing peek at the gulf). The spacious back yard dressed in artificial turf invites guests to relax OR play. Yard games are plentiful. New owners have completely refreshed a classic Carillon home strategically situated in a perfect location - across the street from the Gulf of Mexico between two dune beach walkovers and equidistant from two community pools as well as tennis/pickle ball courts, children's play area and (full court) basketball. It's almost like being ON the gulf without paying big gulf-front prices.
*One set of canvas beach chairs with an umbrella, are provided daily for you on the beach at walk-over 2 (March 1 - Oct 31). Additional beach chairs may be procured through the on-site beach service. As with all Carillon Beach Rentals, beach towels are provided for our guests.

COOL CHANGE is located in the sequestered gated community of Carillon Beach on the Gulf of Mexico, which enjoys 3900 feet of uncrowded, white, sugary-sand beaches. Amenities include 3 community pools: Bellview Park, Beach Club Pool (located on the Gulf of Mexico), and East Pool. There are tennis/pickle ball courts, full basketball court, children's play area and large green spaces. This is a walking, biking, golf cart community with cafe, exercise club, general store, and Baliage salon and spa. In addition to the manned entrance gate, Carillon also employs licensed security officers who patrol the grounds to ensure the safety of our guests. Carillon Beach is a 'Mayberry USA' beach community where lasting, even generational, memories are created. Also, Carillon Beach is a disability friendly community with a wheelchair lift to the main pool area and a handicapped accessible ramp from the pool to the beach. The upscale shopping and restaurants of Rosemary Beach and 30A are only a 3-minute drive away.

PARKING POLICY: 3 vehicles and 1 golf cart permitted. Maximum of one Vehicle or Golf Cart in the street adjacent gravel area to be parked at any time in front of a home. Charging the golf cart must take place in the driveway.
GUARD GATE ENTRANCE PROCEDURE AND HOA PARKING POLICY: The Carillon Beach HOA has implemented a QR code entrance procedure for renters at the main entrance. All vehicles must register and pay a $35/vehicle gate entrance fee to enter Carillon Beach. Upon registration, you will receive a QR code that you will use at the entrance scanner.

Cool Change was the perfect rental for our family of 9. The property was very clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed plus more. It had more variety of pans and dishes than I have in my house. The outside grill was clean and had 2 propane tanks. The Property Manager checked in with me several times and before check-in she was responsive to my questions. This house is so well maintained, there was nothing that needed to be improved. There are beach toys, nice beach towels, and most important it is close to two beach accesses. I'm already looking at dates to return.

We loved Cool Change! So many great things to say about this home. It’s just across the street from two beach accesses, which made it very easy to get to the beach chairs. The backyard is beautifully manicured and came with some fun yard games and a gazebo with lights. Just perfect for everyone to enjoy while we were using the Weber grill. The outdoor shower was great to have as well. The interior of the home was absolutely beautiful. The reverse floor plan made it really nice for everyone to enjoy the huge kitchen and vaulted ceilings of the living room. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every day and really enjoyed being on the second floor for that. The bathrooms were really spacious and classy, especially the master suite. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed as we cooked most of our meals at home. All of the furniture was comfortable too. We will definitely be looking to stay here again! Thank you to Sandels by the Sea for the great communication and helping with anything we needed during our stay!

Overall a great experience! We paid for an early arrival and had some issues at the gate (they didn’t have our reservation) and were delayed getting a door code- but once that was resolved we were good. The house is very spacious so everyone has private areas and the balconies provide extra places for dining. The backyard is perfect for children to play- thankful for the toys provided! Kitchen is nicely equipped for family meals. The location is perfect- across the street from boardwalk 2- and having beach chair set up the week of Thanksgiving was a wonderful surprise. There were 6 of us- and everyone had plenty of space to spread out, while the common areas were plenty large enough for family gatherings & meals.

Cool Change is the perfect family rental! Right across the street from the beach boardwalk- the location is so convenient. The reverse layout of the home provides everyone with privacy and room to spread out. The backyard is what sets this home apart- especially if you are travelling with young children that need room to run! Our stay at this beautiful home was a dream! The decor and style of the home instantly relaxes you when you walk in, and you truly can’t beat the location. My family and I all had our own spaces, and we loved the spacious kitchen and living room. I found our bed (master king) comfortable, but my other family members said that the 2 king guest beds had dips in them. It didn’t matter because we all still had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home.

Cool change was the perfect house for our family vacation. The property was extremely clean and beautiful and the outdoor space/ backyard was amazing for young children to play. The short walk to the beach walkover was a game changer having little ones in tow and easily being able to come and go. Our week was special and this house made our vacation even better. Communication from the owners was above and beyond. We will be back!

My wife and I stayed at Sunnyside the week after our daughter got married as a fun reset. The house was much bigger than we needed but we really enjoyed all the space. It was well decorated, maintained and supplied. I would highly recommend this to others. We'd like to bring our children back next year. Right across the street from the beach walkover. Cool Change is a beautiful home! The location is fabulous; only a few steps to the boardwalk accessing the beach. The property was well maintained, beautiful, and clean. The layout of the house was rather odd with the kitchen and living area on the 2nd floor. If you don’t mind a lot of trips up and down stairs, you will love this beautiful place.
