We had a great room with a patio, but the staff was pretty unhelpful, though friendly. Restaurants on site were not good

Christopher at front desk was so helpful. Great customer service.

Beautiful place!

The check in process was very quick, however the staff only handed over a map and shared nothing about wifi, dining, or the return shuttle. Staff at the restaurants for seating were bored and seemed too eager for the season to be over. Waiter at Fannie Q was fabulous, though. The coffee shop was disorganized and sadly over priced for the quality. Just a reminder to treat all guests well until the last day. As local Alaskans we only want these hotels to do well.

Loud plumbing noise in room. Staff not able to change room and manager not available to speak to about problem that was left unresolved.

Reception staff not necessarily the most friendly in Fairbanks. Not even looking at your eyes.

Beautiful location, excellent service.

It is like an entire village. Multiple restaurants, shops, etc. In the mountains. Very beautiful.

I was disappointed with not having a mini fridge or even a microwave. Other than that our room was fine. Laundry required an app to pay and some were out of order.

Nice facility. Dont understand half of the bathroom in the bedroom. But was nice

This place seemed dirty, the rooms were small, no breakfast included and there were literally bus loads of tourists lined up all over the sidewalks where you couldn’t even get into the building without shoving through hundreds of people or getting ran over by a tour bus. This place has been ridden hard and put away wet. The rooms were small, carpet and bathrooms dirty. We paid a ton of money to stay here just one night and would never do so again. Outside of the buildings were very nice and thought out, but the room itself was just gross. Too many people come through here and it’s just beat down and not well taken care of.

Liked the location and the views and the restaurant was great

Large well appointed property with lot of amenities, probably one of the bigger properties this close to Denali. While location and facilities are great, they largely cater to princess cruise tour groups. They gave us a crappy room next to the laundry room which was loud and shaking our room wall, when we complained about the noise they were dismissive and unhelpful. It’s a busy property teeming with cruise groups - staff seems to treat customer delight as a low priority.

A solo traveler not part of a cruise I lucked out in grabbing a few nights. This is a charming property close to the park with many buildings, restaurants and shops, it’s own friendly community. My room, though not huge, was quite nice, decorated with a local flair. In the main lodge the entrance area is very large and attractive with a lot of seating as it serves as the waiting area for the billions of busses and vans that pour through from the park, outside tour companies, and those of Princess. A machine, and a tad humorous, the tours typically are announced over the speaker, all extremely organized. Princess also has shuttles to the park every 30 minutes, which were great, the friendly drivers often offering suggestions, including for restaurants.
Across the quiet highway are restaurants, eateries, excursion companies, and shops.
Travelling extremely far to get to Denali, if able to grab one of the quality resorts close to the park (there are only a few) it’s well worth it.

Really nice property. Only complaint is that the baseboard heater in the bathroom looked gross, like it had been peed on several times. Everything else was super clean and I don’t understand this.

Interesting property! Almost an all-inclusive resort in terms of all the facilities within easy walking distance of your room. Only negatives are too many cruise ship guests and a definite “tourist trap” atmosphere. Probably the worst internet/cellular service I’ve seen in awhile. Avoid buildings on the Wolf side (E, etc) if you want any sort of connection. Desk just said, “come on up to the lobby if you want to connect…)

Beautiful property with views of the river & mountains.
Shops & restaurants on the property.
Places to sit out& enjoy the scenery.
Our room was very roomy, maybe a little dated.
Overall enjoyed our stay.

The price of this hotel was not reflected accurately. The staff were not friendly or welcoming. There was no fridge in the hotel room. Limited breakfast options, with the best option closing at 9am. House keeping woke us up at 8am knocking on our door. The bathroom water in our hotel room was brown. I would not recommend this place to others, especially considering the cost for one night.

I just like everything about this property

The front desk is warm and professional, but one of the hotel shuttle driver was arrogant who ran the 12:30pm schedule

They put us in the worst room possible

Did not get the 2 queen size beds that we requested. The heat could not be turned off and the room got extremely hot. Other people also complained about the heat.

I wish there was a bottle of water for Coffee in my room.

Extremely disappointing in attitude of staff & their catering too the masses on the busses vs individuals!

Village/town vibe. Good staff and services.

Fantastic place and well maintained. However. Small adjustment would have made it better.
If assigned to the more peripheral building, cars cannot be driven right up to the building like our case in building C even to unload the luggage, 5 minutes walk from the parking lot. That means checking in later or in poor weather, it can be an issue. No elevator at our building so accessible issue may be in play.
But otherwise, very clean, comfortable beds. Nice location.

The views from the deck in A&B were great but not having a shower the day we left put a real damper on the 2 day stay

Most convenient place to stay if you are planning to spend a day or two in Denali National Park. This place is built to give visitors top-notch DNP experience!

We were mostly very happy. We didn't know we wouldn't be able to park near our room. Parking is only up by the main lodge even though we had a handicap sign. There is a shuttle that circles the property but at least twice it didn't arrive on schedule. We had to walk all the way up the hill w all of our luggage. 30 mins later the woman finally arrived as we reached the top. The restaurants were good but expensive as everything is in Alaska. We appreciated the free shuttle to Denali.

Rooms had no insulation. You could hear everything neighbors said.
Restuarant food very limited, not very accomadating for allergies.
Staff very nice.

It was ok not amazing

It was nice to have people available to help my mother, who uses a walker, get to and from the parking lot, which was quite a distance for her.

We artived and were given a room that we found was already filled with luggage, so they gave us another room, next to a noisy elevator and facing an alley, rather than the beutiful mountains or river, seems we were downgraded, rather than upgraded after the inconvienience
4.0
Rooms were beautiful and comfortable only drawback was parking for building A/B not enough had to walk in rain after coming back for denali park tour. Also should have something open later then 9pm especially when tours get back after 10pm
