About this cabin rental

Perfect Log Cabin family-friendly hidden away on 3.5 acres in the woods. This cabin is perfect for all seasons and is close to all that the Poconos and Delaware Water Gap has to offer.

The main area of the house (living & dining rooms) has 50ft vaulted ceiling and a beautiful stone fireplace that will keep you warm all winter. The first floor includes the living & dining area, the kitchen, master bedroom (Queen bed and TV), 2 bathrooms, laundry, and a back room. The second floor includes a separate loft and bedroom. The loft is a great play-area and has a pull-out sofa. The 2nd-floor bedroom is large (also with high ceilings) and includes 3 twin beds and a TV. The back room looks out to all that Mother Nature has to offer (back room includes 2 pullout couches -1 Queen and 1 twin & television). The cabin includes 2 bathrooms with showers. Home includes 4 Smart televisions with cable and Apple TV firestick (please use your own Netflix and other subscription log-in information).

The front porch of the Cabin includes a hammock for a quick nap and a picnic table for dinner.

The Cabin is set on over 3 acres of property with a stream running behind the property. There is an outdoor shower and firepit with chairs to sit around the fire. Bug zapper available if needed to keep away extra bugs. The home is a quick walk away from a hiking trail that ends in a beautiful waterfall.

The property also includes a fun treehouse with electricity, heat, bunk beds, and a television (Smart TV). Treehouse includes a fun porch to sit and take in nature.

The home is located within a 20-30 minute drive from Shawnee and Camelback Ski Resorts for skiing and tubing. Close to Bushkill Falls, Delaware Water Gap, and East Stroudsburg University.

Pets are permitted with fee.

Easy and quick communication with owners, they are generous with the small things that make things more comfortable, such as towels, snacks and toiletries. Not a very baby friendly cabin for a fast crawler, but it's likely that no cabin is! Overall positive experience.

I loved the propery it was close to so many sights an activities to do I wish we stayed longer. Communication was very clear and responses were FAST! I ENJOYED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS TRIP. We hope to make a return visit soon.

We were at the cabin for a few days with the grandkids. Lots of room for them to play and explore and plenty of space inside for them and for us. This was probably one of the best stocked places we have ever rented. They had everything we might have needed. While we were well-prepared it was great to have things on hand had we needed them. Very, very clean, as well. We were fortunate to have good weather and spent lots of time outside - especially around the fire pit. LOTS of firewood and plenty of kindling to be collected. The space was also very dog-friendly. A number of tie outs for pups who need some limitations on their ability to wander. Finally, a very friendly deer came by a few times each day. It was fun to watch for her and to see her in the morning and evenings. There is a fair amount of traffic and the gravel road are bumpy at times. This meant some noise throughout the stay, but it was minimal and you couldn't hear it when you were inside the cabin at all.

Overall, it was a very nice experience and the owners did an excellent job of making the cabin feel very homely. The cabin and property are so beautiful and everything from food, towels, firewood, and more were so kindly provided for us. We only had a couple minor complaints. The kids were excited about the treehouse but that was under construction and we were not made aware until we arrived on the property. Also, the AC was not set up before we arrived, so it was hot at night when we were sleeping. Our second day there, the power and water cut off from noon to 5pm because of some emergency work, but that is just our luck and no fault of the owners or the property. For their part, they were very communicative with us and made sure to follow up with us and talk to the electric company and let us know all the updates.

The cabins location was great and made it feel like you're out in this area alone even though it is a community. Plenty of privacy For the fire pit and kicking back and relaxing relaxing.

Nice , cozy cabin. Clean, great communication with host, accommodating. On a decent amount of property but unless you have a great recall with your dog, neighbors and road not far. Road is not busy though. Cabin does have 3 tie outs to keep dog safe, if you need it. Unfortunately The treehouse was not sleep ready due to some renovations, my daughter wanted to sleep there so was dissapointed, but when it is completed, it should be great , being heated and providing electrical. Overall great family cabin, firepit, plenty of places for many sleep , kid friendly backyard!

The cabin and property are great. My wife finally took some time to just sit and relax away from her non-stop animal rescue. Most of our 6 days were just running the fireplace and some movies. We only really ran around 1 day at flea markets as my son and wife like antiques and old items. Leaving today if we can get out of here. Like 14 inches of snow. Ive been shoveling the driveway all morning. Its beautiful with the snow covered pines, but i think my 3 hour trip home will be more like 5. Very homey cabin. Well stocked.

My wife and I had a great time visiting this property. The house had everything you want. A fully stocked kitchen, plenty of firewood for both inside and out and plenty of games and puzzles to keep you entertained on a rainy day. Communication with the owners was above and beyond. Above all else, the hosts made us feel right at home. Virtually every amenity was accessible to us: firewood, kindling, pantry staples, toiletries, anything you could think of. We felt incredibly safe and check-in/check out was super simple. I can’t overstate just how perfect this cabin was, especially for the price. We will definitely be staying here again.

House was cute, cozy just as stated. Owner did a fantastic job to ensure all accomodations were met. They had travel size items in case you forgot something which was very thoughtful and had a surplus of supplies in the kitchen. The view and location was perfect, we even saw a bear with her two cubs in the backyard, that was spectacular! Definitely will come hear again!

This was the perfect place for our little family of city mice to have a country mouse experience. Pulling up we knew we picked a winner. The house is set back away from everything. And there was nothing but nature all around! We LOVED the hammock on the porch!! Everything was perfectly clean and spacious. Kitchen stocked with utensils and items needed for cooking and Tons of towels for our messy kids. The fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs. Instructions were easy and the Wi-Fi worked great! Our kids had an amazing time! We went to bushkill falls and big brown fish and pay lakes. Otherwise we spent the afternoon exploring. They found toads, frogs, pine cones, and have such fun! We are already planning our next stay!

We had a wonderful two night's stay. The home was very well stocked with all sorts of useful items for use. We loved staying there. It was very easy to communicate with our host and she was very accommodating from the time we booked, all the way to the end of our stay. Very nice folks. The only thought we would add is if you have a big group like we did, and have to use the pull out sofas, you might want to bring along a foam pad or air mattress for more comfortable sleeping. Thin people like us will feel the springs on those older pull out couch mattresses. However our host provided plenty of blankets and linen for use. They were all good quality. Thank you for everything!!!

Great cabin for spending time with family and enjoying nature. Big fire pit to gather around for s’mores and scary stories. Spotted bear every day and I filmed a family of deer one morning just a few feet away. You’ll have fun.

This cabin was spacious, well stocked and very clean. The surrounding area is simply fantastic; there's a forest surrounding the house itself and a nice, private backyard complete with a firepit. The treehouse was a very fun and interesting addition, and although we brought quite a few activities for a weekend we got to do almost none of them because we spent so much time grilling and relaxing in the backyard. The owners were very welcoming and the cabin was stocked with countless useful things that were made available to us. There were also plenty of places to sleep, which is great. Overall the layout had quite a lot to offer. There's a nice porch with a hammock, a beautiful sun room in the back to enjoy a weather with a view of nature and quite a few animals, and a nice open area connected to the kitchen in the main cabin where you can hang out. Great cabin and would definitely recommend it.

The cabin was perfect! The hosts were so kind and helpful. Checking in was a breeze and we were greeted with a s'mores platter a nice welcome letter, and a fully built fireplace ready for the first nights activities. We went in April and the weather was PERFECT! The house was very dog friendly and had plenty of leads outside to tie up the dogs. The sunroom made for a perfect room to setup the crate. Very easy to get to the cabin although a bit far from stores and trails. Plan on a 20-30 minute drive to get anywhere. Plan ahead and don't rely on daily trips to the grocery store. Also, the main road is riddled with potholes so drive slowly. Overall, everything in the hosts control was perfect!

The place was just as beautiful as the pictures show. Fully stocked firewood inside and more outside made for many wonderful fires. The view from the back sitting area was very peaceful. My friend brought his 2 dogs and they had fun running trails within 5 minutes away. We had a nice assortment of s’mores fixings waiting for us along with a properly stocked kitchen and fridge. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were stocked as well. My wife and family plan on joining me this winter for a return trip. It was an all around great time! Highly recommended!
