It was definitely a home away from home. Had everything you could want and even things that you didn’t think you needed. The little touches the hosts included made my stay so much more special. The property was so comfortable that I would’ve been happy just to stay there and not do anything else.

The hosts clearly communicated the instructions for arrival at their tastefully decorated apartment. Information for places, shops and things to do in Bonavista was provided prior to arrival. The apartment had everything needed to make the stay effortless. Many local vendors were showcased throughout the house. The arrival gifts were a thoughtful touch.

The cottage was more than we expected. Clean, bright Lisa puts all the little things that you can imagine to make your stay feel very welcome. She was at her house when we arrived made sure we had everything we needed.Plenty of extra towels and bedding. There was plenty of coffee, tea pods cream in the fridge, as they had a fire pit there was smore’s kits,the homemade blueberry muffins and butter on the side was great.a basket with cereal, hot chocolate popcorn for a cosy nite, Our dog Annie wasn’t left out either. 2 bowls, a roll of poopy bags in case you run out a canister of dog bones. She had walking sticks, umbrellas. My husband said the best part was the fresh cold her partner had just caught. All her soaps and nessesities were locally made as she supports her community. There was amazing local Art thru out the home. The ice cream place leading up to the light house that she recommended was the best as was their food. We found her very friendly and helpful. After I left I notice I had left my shawl there we sent a message she said there was a few things I left and would mail to me.

Very well maintained, updated 2-bedroom apartment with private access and your own parking. Nice landscaping and outdoor seating, immaculate everywhere, spacious kitchen with bonus S'More station and other treats. We were able to do laundry and cooked our meals in with everything we needed.

Close to everything you would want to do in Bonavista. Very comfortable, tastefully decorated with a number of extra touches added such as welcome muffins. Would highly recommending staying at Cape View Escape.

This rental was top notch. Fresh muffins left for our breakfast, as well as every possible kitchen utensil, including seafood tools for the lobster we bought. East Coast Glow soaps for your use provided as well as toiletries you may have forgotten. The electric fireplace and throw blankets really added a cozy touch to the living room on the cool rainy days we experienced when we were there. The decorating made this rental very homelike and charming.

The property far exceeded our expectations. The hosts had provided lots of locally sourced extras, an excellent information folder, and even a welcome card. The accommodation is well-furnished and facilities are top notch. The location is superb. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed.

The owners were "over the top" with their welcoming and supportive communications. The kitchen was well stocked, with everything you might need or have forgotten. The living spaces were comfortably furnished. Plenty of towels and toiletries.
Bathroom is small but functional. We enjoyed our time in the area and visiting with the owners. I would definitely consider coming back.

Lisa & Scott go above and beyond, nothing is overlooked. Treats for peeps and pups. Super clean and I could even watch the Detroit Lions game. NFL package was on the cable system. Thanks for a great stay.

I can’t explain how cute this place is! The character of the interior and the antique pieces mixed with the new, I felt like I was at my Grandmothers house. Lisa and Scott have out done themselves, from all the above basic necessities to the local products and art work decorating the space. Thank you for the info book with all the great suggestions to see near by. You have obviously put a lot of time into this project. I hope we will be back one day!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay a couple nights. I wish we had booked longer! Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cape View Escape was a wonderful place to stay in Bonavista! Newly renovated, extremely clean with all the comforts of home! Lisa and Scott went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable…they thought of everything!! My favourite touch was the freshly baked blueberry muffins for the family and a lovely hand written note to welcome us!! I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!! It definitely was a five star experience!!

As with previous reviews we loved this property. Lisa quickly responded to my inquiries. There was a great attention to detail everywhere. Works of local artists showcased throughout the cottage prompted us to contact one of the artists. Her local guide is so helpful
