The breakfast was very good, with local produce, good coffee and attentive service from Noria or Alexia. There is no parking at the hotel but we always managed to find a space outside. It is a short walk to the town where there are good restaurants. The room was clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. There was a kettle and supply of teas and coffees and a small fridge. The addition of a chair would have helped, but otherwise very good. The pool was clean and the outside area was well maintained. The hotel is not modern but in an old Spanish style... & quirky!
Quite honestly, nothing. It was excellent value for money and the staff work really hard to make the stay comfortable.

Staff was wonderful. Alexia was very helpful and helped me with all my questions. Noria who served us a wounderful breakfast was also very helpful.. In all I had a great stay and would definitely recomend this small friendly hotel.
I was surprised there was no tv in the room. But really I think a break from watching tv was a good experience.

Delightful and slightly unconventional B&B, big room and lovely courtyard and lounge. Good and interesting breakfast, charming staff. Surprisingly, no noise from adjoining occasionally busy road.
Parking can be difficult. Incessant computer-generated "jazz piano trio" music can be sufficiently irritating, soon resolved by
surreptitiously turning volume down (or off) on the PA.

Villa del monte is a quiet and peaceful hotel rural in the centre of Gran Canaria, perfectly positioned in one of the best village of the island, Santa Brigida. Sebastian and his team have been very helpful on my arrival and genuinely friendly during my stay, creating a special atmosphere that felt like home. The services, in particular breakfast and the dinner, are an highly recommended experience of great value, perfectly proposed and presented by the chef. Products used are all fresh and km zero, which is the main philosophy of the service. Rooms and the living room are cozy and will make you feel at home. Definetely recommended place if you want to escape the stress of life.

The room was big and beautiful, and the view from the rooftop terrace was incredible. Furthermore the hosts were very sweet and helpful. They made the stay even more memorable.

That was a pleasure for us stay in this charming hotel. We were warm welcome by owner, manager and executive kitchen chef what make us feel like special guests.
The atmosphere is very homesy. Our room same as rest of the interiors are specious and rural. Staff kept eyes open on every detail of our stay and we received important tips about history of the hotel and interesting places to visit around but the best part of stay was food prepared by Dwight who prepared every single meal with passion and left his heart on our plate. Big bonus for bike rentals there is few full suspension bikes and road for free to use by guests and table tennis court. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and everyone who expecting something more than typical lazy hotel by the beach
Played in ping pong with Sebastian and lost... Can't wait for revange

Fantastic breakfast, location and hosts
Parking was on the street and challenging to find a space, but our hosts had reserved a space with their car in case we had needed it!

The owners seemed nice.
Everything. My wife and I based our reservation on positive reviews and pictures for this property and location. I don't know who provided those reviews, but we were so disappointed that we left without spending a single night of our two planned nights. Despite my booking being non-refundable, I took the $266 loss and found another place to stay. Everything about the place was gloomy and outdated by 20 years. Parking was between two trees just one foot from a busy thoroughfare. There was no television and when we're given the Wi-Fi password, we were told "Good Luck". We assumed that meant limited or no access. As we were deciding to stay or take our $$ loss, the deciding factor was seeing some spiders walking across the floor of the bedroom area. To avoid the awkwardness of telling the owners our actual opinion, we used an excuse of wanting a hotel closer to a beach.

What a wonderful sanctuary! Everything about this charming property and its staff are exceptional: host Petra, manager son Sebastian and executive chef Dwyght offer a warm welcome, great chat and AMAZING food. Do not miss out!!!
Nothing. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Would definitely come back

Extraordinary culinary discovery journey by Sebastian and Dwight, 2 chefs that decided to start their own business a few months ago.
We stayed for a whole week, but one of the most memorable aspects was Dwight’s almost exclusive use of local ingredients. We were blown away by the depth of flavour in each bite and it was clear that his (almost scientific knowledge) played a key role in creating delicious and unique dishes. Each menu was a culinary adventure that showcased the best of Gran Canarian’s ingredients.
Also worth mentioning, these 2 are incredibly nice and welcoming! Warmly recommended!
Most of it was great. The terrace on the garden is being re-furbished a little, but it was perfectly ok

Very good breakfast included, very good quality and served in a nice room overlooking the garden. Very good dinner on both nights. Great and very friendly service from the very first moment.
One of very few things I did not like is the noise from the busy road that hotel is close by. Nice garden, the sun to enjoy but traffic can be heavy on the road so as the noise.

Sebastian and his family are the best option for your holidays in Gran Canaria, the kindest & always ready to help you.
The atmosphere is heavenly, the pool, the birds, the food. About the food, the chef is so meticulous about explaining all the stuff you're eating where it does come from and the concept behind it (10/10 even just for the taste of the bread).
Petra and Sebastian are two wonderful hosts, i hope to come back soon in gran canaria and i will 100% chose them again. :) 🍋

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa del Monte. The hosts were lovely and caring. Our room and bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious including home made sourdough bread. We enjoyed the living room with a fireplace, soft music in the background and lots of books. There is also a rooftop terrace with a gorgeous panoramic views. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended:-)
