The hotel is very close to the ferry port.
It was very expensive for what it was . The receptionist did not offer to carry my wife's heavy bag to the room. In the room there was coffee making facilities but only two sachets of coffee. The room was very small and dingy. We have stayed in much cheaper nicer places in France. The car park secure if you could get through the Narrow Gate.

Loved everything. The dining room and garden were delightful. The location was great for us. Breakfast was wnderful, and our host and hostess could not have been kinder.
Nothing.

Wonderful welcome, lovely staff, nicely decorated room, delicious breakfast. Fabulous restaurant (La Cale) recommended and reserved for us. Really quick and easy route to ferry in the morning.
Narrow gates to get through parking - would probably try to park on street next time.

This is a very special hotel. You are given a very warm welcome from the time you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is wonderful with little touch’s that go the extra mile. The last time we stayed there was a lovely little restaurant just down the road which is now an Italian but was closed during our stay. There are other restaurants about. 20min walk away but it is uphill on the way back so may not suit those less able. There is a little beach a 10min walk away. Our room was very comfortable if a little compact but it had everything we needed, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very quiet. We will definitely stay again.
Parking could be an issue although it has not been a problem the two times we have stayed as we arrived early.

Picture postcard French property, stunning house, beautifully decorated. Trés chic!
We were there during exceptionally hot weather, no air conditioning. But honestly not a complaint as the host & his wife run a wonderful business.

Nothing really.

The staff was AMAZING. I was embarrassed because the lady insisted on carrying my big suitcase, while I carried another suitcase. She was super nice and accommodating.
That we stayed only one night. :(

lovely friendly staff. very helpful. Spacious room. Garden room was perfect as we had our dog with us
Maybe a bit far from Old city but that was my fault for not checking walking distance

Stayed one night only, very warm welcome, and an ample and varied breakfast.
The mattress on the bed was well used, a bit lumpy with a dip in the middle.

- It’s a beautiful old house, very close to the quay/port where all the fish restaurants are. A good selection of shops and patisseries can be found at the quay.
- a good breakfast selection too!
- lovely welcoming hosts, happy to accommodate.
- safe area
- dog friendly
- nothing much but it should be noted that for British people this is more a B&B than a hotel.
- entrance to car park very tight so if you have a large car you might struggle to get in and out. There is on street parking though, if you can find a space.

Attractive period building in convenient location for ferry. Nicely appointed room
Be aware that the limited on-site parking is accessed through a very narrow entrance from a two way street with parking on one side. Two vehicles were damaged accessing the car park within 20 minutes of our arrival.
Parking is not allowed opposite the gateway. Do not attempt to access the hotel car park without manoeuvring in this space (go past the gateway and then reverse to line up to go in forward).
We wish we had received this advice in advance of our visit. Street parking is also available.
