Sea views. Sunsets. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Hotel flanked by good, friendly ice cream parlour on one side and general store on the other. Public car park close by (but you may need to wash the incrusted salt off your car windows and bodywork afterwards).
The views, though great on the sea side of the hotel, are through fairly narrow windows that become opaque when the spray gets up. So balconies would be a good addition.

The hotel is very nice, very friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. I had fish and chips in the restaurant the first night, the restaurant is very nicely presented, the food was amazing. Only thing the language Barrier and no English written menu. Good old Google translate, so I managed to get by. Quite expensive compared to back home 17 euros for the fish and chips. But 2 pieces of fish and plenty of really nicely cooked crispy chips. Booked breakfast in the morning, shame not a cooked breakfast, it's continental, half a French stick and a croissant, with a choice of ham and cheese, cereal etc, tea and coffee. Was nice and fresh though.
Where its situated is a very busy place in the evening. Beach front tables all busy with people eating in the evening. Lovely tranquil place and plenty to do if the beach is what you like. Although dont expect sand, large pebbles. Personally I didn't come here for that. There's a place to hire windsurfing equipment and kayaks, mini golf, casino. There was also a circus on the green. A few different restaurants to choose from too. A shop next door, minimal though. I used this as a home spot to tour on my motorcycle. Was nice and comfortable to come back to after very long rides. I believe 2 star is way low for this hotel, it definitely deserves at least another star. Would definitely like to come back with my partner for a more romantic trip, it would be a perfect place to do just that.
No tea or milk in the room, just coffee. But easily rectified just ask at the bar or do what I did, take plenty of tea bags and sugar at breakfast lol. Minor grip, but after a long ride down from calais I wanted tea 🤣

3) less choices for food in the area only 2 restaurants were working!!

First row, beach strip is amazing. It you want to be next to the beach, you can't get any closer. There is just the beach boulevard between. Free parking is provided by the community round the corner.
We booked a room with sofa, to have some extra space which was the same price as standard double room. If you want a sea view room, you need to pay extra. Bfast was 10 € per person.
This is a modest hotel, a bit updated and seeing it's glory few years back and would need some fresh up.
The lightning in the room was really bad, due to the lack of any ceiling lamp. And the the table lamb was broken as well as some lambs in the bathroom.

Our room had decent bathroom with a massage shower panel, this was quite nice! We were travelling with one child, but the room could fit two children: there was a bunk bed there. the view was at the mountain and a narrow passageway, but one could hear the sea, which was nice. the restaurant didn’t work on our arrival day, but next day we were offered a great place near the windows for the dinner. the dinner was delicious.
the curtains in the room had stains and dead mosquitoes:(. the village is very small, there are not too many places for dining. on our arrival day the restaurant in the hotel didn’t work and the restaurant nearby was fully booked. this left us with a choice of the only left open restaurant to eat. the food was really good there thought, so we didn’t regret.

+ quietness
+ room extra sunny
+ 2 parts separating the adults and kid parts
+ new furniture and decoration
+ restaurant was excellent
+ staff super nice
frankly not much to be said here.
Maybe the other rooms could have been quieter, and doors were slamming quite a lot, but unsure this is the hotel responsibility....

They gave me a table for dinner when I checked in. I ate there both nights and the food was delicious. My view of the ocean front was amazing!

Excellent location, especially for our room with sea view. We could hear the sea from our open windows. Plenty of restaurants around.
