About this villa rental
You will be welcome in a wide-open space with a large dining area, a comfortable sofa and armchairs, and a fully equipped kitchenette complete with all appliances: an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and fridge with freezer. Everything is new and of the best quality.
This surprisingly modern Tuscan house, newly refurbished and restructured, distinguishes itself for its brightness, its furniture and decor unusually modern for a country Tuscan home, and elegant, yet very functional.
Developed on 3 floors, it overspreads about 200 Mq, over 20 Mq of a panoramic terrace, and a fenced garden of 150 Mq, safe for children and animals.
The large windows give brightness and a sense of calmness to this area from which we have access to the garden. On the same floor, there is 1 double bedroom with air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor, there are 2 double bedrooms (one of which is convertible into a twin) with air conditioning and 1 bathroom to share. From one of the two rooms upstairs, we access a pretty terrace from which one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the rolling hills of the Castle of Poppiano, as well as the roofs of the village viewed in perspective and ending with the bell tower of the parish church. From here, plunged in the silence of clear summer nights, the sky full of stars is a show not to miss.
On the ground floor besides kitchen and living there is a double bedroom with private bathroom
In the basement, there is a tavern of about 60mq where one can relax by watching TV (SMART 32 INCHES with Netflix) on comfortable sofas. In this space you will be able to forget about the internet and social networks and enjoy your time together playing cards, board games while having a drink.
Kiddies haven't been forgotten: a kid corner with a table and chairs and a box full of toys is a nice surprise and always enthusiastically appreciated by the kids... and the parents!
On this level, there is also a laundry room with a washing machine and sink and 1 bathroom with a shower. This area also has windows and light.
The house newly refurbished, will guarantee you a pleasant and relaxing stay with all the comfort of home.
For food lovers, we may give you contacts for organizing cooking lessons and/or dinners at home.
Or if you don't feel like rushing to the supermarket or a restaurant we can organize a light dinner upon arrival if you tell us a few days in advance (not on Sundays)

The location was ideal for our trip and it was beautiful views. Definitely recommended.

Great location for exploring Tuscany, yet very close to Florence. Siena and Volterra are less than an hour away and an easy drive. The villa was extremely well equipped and appointed and the host was very generous with supplies and treats. Highly recommended.

Our group of 3 adults and 2 small children rented the house for the second half of November 2022 and could not have been more pleased. The spacious house is located in a small town with amazing views of rural Tuscany. Everything was as represented: Well equipped kitchen, spacious living areas and comfortable bedrooms. Small grocery store nearby and farmer's market on Mondays., Very nice areas for walking when the weather is good. Landlord and property manager were very helpful and accomodating.

We very much enjoyed our time in Tuscany. This location was perfect. Quiet, peaceful, close to Florence and other Tuscany sites for day trips. The view was gorgeous! Angela was helpful with recommendations and responses.

Perfect home base to explore Tuscany
Dear Stefania and Angela,
Thank you for your kindness during our stay.
The house was a great place to stay to visit all the beautiful places in Tuscany!
It has absolutely everything you could need, this was much better than expected.
Due to it being fully airconditioned, it is perfect even in the summer heat.
It certainly keeps the promise of a Tuscan panorama view, absolutely great.
We went to Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. The house is located perfectly to take day trips to the cities and have a perfect place to relax in the evening.
Whenever we needed some advice, Angela was quick to respond with helpful answers.
Thank you very much for a perfect stay!

Lovely Stay
Family holiday for 4 adults and one baby. Lovely, large, well equipped house. Great view from balcony. Nice to receive some starter food and drink goodies. Good communication with hosts who answered all queries quickly. Lovely stay.

Beautifully equipped house with fabulous view
The house was lovely and just as described. It looked slightly different to us from the pictures, but that is not necessarily a bad thing, as it was really lovely. The house was the best equipped we have ever seen, and the introductory food (juice, milk, coffee, oil, sugar, yogurt, cereal, etc.) were especially nice. The owners had thought of everything--spare light bulbs, batteries, flashlights. The view of the Poppiano castle in the morning was truly amazing. We could not have been better pleased except that we were there the early part of April and there is no heat after April 1. For 2 days we were uncomfortably cold. We would return happily, but we would choose a warmer time of year.

Central location in Tuscany
Host was very attentive and helpful. Very roomy and well equipped but a bit disappointed as from the pictures on the listing I thought the home was more in the country without other homes right next to it. And pictures failed to capture the large power pole and lines. Also, there is an odor in the home that never went away.

Wonderful house
We have stayed in the house for a week in August in 2021. The beautiful house is spacious (certainy for our family of four) and very well equipped. We ordered a dinner at arrival which Angela prepared and was the perfect start of the week. It was very hot that week (up to 40 degrees Celcius), but the airco kept the house and bedrooms at pleasant temperatures.
We have visited the beautiful towns and cities of Vinci, Siena, Pisa, Florence, mostly later in the afternoon and evening due to the temperatures. It was our first time in Tuscany and we were also impressed by the beautiful andscape right outside the house.
It was a perfect place from which to discover Tuscany

Fabulous Stay And A Great Host
Stephania is a very caring host. As you step into the villa, you’ll notice the decor and the available amenities of the place is much like walking into a show room. Stephania does a great job ensuring each guest has a comfortable stay and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This villa exceeds all expectations and more. This is one of the best.

Great Stay
We recently stayed at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has three floors and there are three bedrooms. My husband and I used just the main floor as we found this floor had the largest and brightest bedroom of the three. The main floor is very roomy and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need to make a meal. The owner generously supplied food items, such as bread, cereal, yogurt, milk and a bottle of wine. We found this to be a very thoughtful touch. The house is located in a very small town (San Quirico in Collina) so a car is definitely needed to get groceries. The closest town is Montespertoli and here we found a great Bar Pasticceria Fiorentina Caterina which had very good desserts. Since you are in the country there are a lot of mosquitoes outside but the owner supplies plenty of mosquito coils for use. Thank you Stefanie and Angela for a very nice stay and opening your house to us.

Amazing stay!
This was the perfect location for our Tuscan getaway. A short drive to the train into Florence and a great launching point for our touring (only a 15 minute drive to the amazing Antinori Winery - a must see!). Angela was great in answering all my questions before we arrived and the house was completely stocked with food, spices and a nice welcome basket for my family. 2 bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom; main floor bedroom with private bathroom; and the kids loved being in the basement with 3 beds, their games area and another bathroom. Overall, the house was as advertised, very beautiful and very clean. We highly recommend this house! We were there in late June during a heat wave and the air conditioning worked wonderfully!

Entspannung in traumhafter Landschaft

Well stocked
The place is very big and was very well stocked. It’s great for families. The owner was kind enough to leave us a celebration cake (we got married the night before) and a bottle of wine. Our only issues were that the upstairs and main level water pressure were very bad (the lower level shower was better), the lower level was very cold during the entire stay and we couldn’t find any tv stations in English (in the other places we stayed there were at least 2 channels in English.) The town is small but there are restaurants nearby and a small deli. The view is beautiful! Overall it’s a great place to stay in the Tuscan region!

The house is very nice, very well equiped and centrally located to make some nice visits in the beautiful area, such as Pisa, San Gimignano, Firenze, Siena etc. But also visit some of the very nice little villages in the direct neighboarhood.. Don’f forget to taste the local food and especially the wines, there are plenty of possibilities to enjoy. (We visited Antinori’s and their redtaurant; a real nice experience to explore the kitchen of Toscany 😉)
We had a very warm welcome of Angela, explaining all the nice things to do in the area, and she was always available in case of questions.
Toscany is in our hearts and we hate it to drive back to Belgium. We defenitely are planning to come back to Toscany real soon.
Angela and Stefania, thank you for having us in your lovely house.

Best of the Best for seeing Florence and Tuscany
If you are traveling by car this is the home for you. It is well located for seeing Florence, Tuscany and the Hill Towns. The tram station for travel into Florence is a short 25 minute drive. This enables you to unwind in the beauty of the countryside after a day of crowds in Florence. The home is large, comfortable, well decorated with all of the necessary items for being an outstanding home away from home. We were given several options for special events. We chose to have a meal ready upon our arrival. Amazing food and the Italian hospitality from Angela was experience we will never forget. The was a small issue with a shower and Stefania was there in half hour.

Wonderful countryside home
We had a great time at the Holiday house in San Quirico in Collina. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There was a welcoming bottle of wine and fresh fruit and some breakfast items to get us started. There was a wonderful view from the 2nd floor terrace and a great spot to watch the sun set. The house is centrally located, so it allowed us to visit many different cities and hill towns. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Stefania for opening your home to our family and thank you Angela for your support during our stay.

A wonderful home in beautiful Chianti.
We were so happy with our stay at San Casciano in Val di Pesa. The house was charming with very modern touches. The kitchen is well appointed and included salt, pepper, olive oil and spices (my husband is a chef so this was a great bonus for us!). In the village there is a small grocery to buy local meats, cheeses and breads. The small garden area was perfect for morning coffee and dining al fresco.
Angela, our host, could not have been more helpful. We had a very trying travel day with numerous traffic accidents and delays making our arrival several hours later than planned. Angela made arrangements to meet us at a later time without complaint. She even stocked the refrigerator with supplies for breakfast, had fresh fruit on the counter and a bottle of wine for us which was much needed!
The location was perfect for our day trips to Sienna, Pisa, Florence and Lucca. If you are interested in food and wine Angela can give you some fantastic suggestions. She helped us book a day with a local truffle hunter which was one of our favorite experiences in Italy.

Fantastic place to relax
On many previous rentals we have been disappointed as the property did not live up to the details presented however this was not the case on this holiday, the property had everything we had hoped for and more. sometimes little things can make a difference and although they seem trivial can make a good holiday experience a great one.
Angela and Stefania were friendly and helpful, and when we encountered a small issue it was resolved straightaway. The view from the balcony should be bottled and sold as it was a great way of spending an evening enjoying the sun set over the fields.
I would highly recommend this property.
Thank you Angela and Stefania

owner fully stock the place, good value
Owner fully stock the place with everything you need for a comfortable stay including milk, juice, coffee, tea, snacks, spices for cooking, soap, shampoo...etc. The place is a 3 floor house in a very small non-characteristic village. But it situated high enough to have good view of grape vines and distance castle. I would not call it a villa, it is a house. There are plenty spaces but spread among 3 floors, therefore rooms and living spaces are a bit small, except the basement family room which is very spacious. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 teenagers, and if we are all together in the living room and dinning room area, it feels a bit crowded. kitchen equipment are new with induction hot plates, adequate supplies of pots and pans. Air conditioner works well, we needed it since it was 34C outside. Laundry is very convenient with detergent supplied. The stairs for the 3 floors is a bit narrow, it sure give you a good work out. Parking inside the gate. Very convenient location to visit neighboring sights, easy access to motor ways. There is a very good restaurant "Buzzanca" in the small village.
Negatives- electric circuit is limited, if you turn on high in more than one burner, it will not function, can be frustrating. If you turn on a few electric equipment at the same time, you will kick the breaker. Water faucets have some kind of restrictor on them and will splash all over. You will get totally wet no matter how careful you try when you wash dishes or wash your face. There is no screen for the door to terrace for the upstair bedroom, so can't really enjoy the terrace. Lots of mosquitos. There is an out door area that one can sit, but it has the neighboring cats all over the area and plenty of bugs, one can not peacefully enjoy. Only 1G data of WiFi a day, with 3 adults and 3 teenagers, we went over many times, difficult to control - may be some kind of warning when 1G has been used up.
Overall, it serve well for our purpose.

It felt like home but in the middle of the beautiful Tuscany
Super comfortable house for our family of four since it has 3 floors.
The kids were very happy with the bottom floor where they have their own space to chill and watch movies or play games after a long day walking in the streets of Florence
The house was well provisioned with plenty of food for the first night and breakfast so no need to look for a supermarket at the beginning
We had a great time and it really felt warm and cozy as home

Beautiful Villa in Tuscany
The villa was so modern and clean, it had all the amenities you need for a great vacation. This place was bright and spacious and the perfect accommodations for our family of 6. The location is outside of Florence and in the middle of wine country. Angela made it very easy to reserve the house from the U.S. and she gave us very useful tips to visit Rome, Florence and the surrounding areas. It is the perfect rental for a vacation in Tuscany!

A hidden gem
We had a great time waking up to the beautiful views from the upstairs balcony. After sightseeing in Florence, or in the Chianti area, we ended the day the same way we started. The property offers great amenities with a very attentive property manager.
I cannot say enough about the property manager. It was a wonderful experience.
I recommend asking the property manager about the chef service at the property. The meals and the service were impeccable.
We drove the car to the train station for sightseeing in Florence.
Thanks for a great time and wonderful memories!

Immaculate and Comfortable
Great location to tour Tuscany and easy to get to Florence. The apartment is immaculate with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Grocer down the street with meat, cheese and wine to enjoy while watching the sun set over the hills from the upstairs balcony. Gated parking for one vehicle made parking easy.
