Beautiful hotel in the middle of Tuscany. It served as a perfect base for day trips to Firenza, Pisa, Sienna.
The whole place is built in an old mansion and it is an amazing place to stay and experience.
Hotel has an old charm and it is perfectly clean and tidy.
The hosts are always available for any inquiries and are super nice.
And their sweet breakfast in the garden was perfect to start the day.
Would definitely stay here again.

Location of the hotel was in the center of Palaia. We only booked the hotel for 1 night, so we did not really used the facilities of the hotel. However, we loved how friendly the lady was upon check-in and during check-out. The room was cozy and had a really big balcony.

Location stupenda!

An unusual, delightful place. It takes you several centuries back and you feel like traveling back in time. Zamira shows you around the rooms of the 18th century house and points out interesting AUTHENTIC artifacts, paintings and crafts.
And in the morning, when you eat a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast, portraits of old masters look at you from the walls...
We appreciated Zamira's recommendation for a restaurant where we had a lovely dinner. Thanks again, Zamira. We would love to come back and stay longer.

Our stay in the hotel was perfect, from the wonderful rooms to the shared space, the garden for breakfast, and all the exquisite food. Zamira was the greatest host, welcoming us with a warm smile, accommodating to all our needs and giving us suggestions for our visits. She was even kind enough to arrange for some takeaway breakfast, since we had to leave early. Highly recommended!

the location is amazing (a palace of 16th cantury) and personnel was very kind. The room was large, confortable and well kept.
Breakfast is absolutely wonderful with excellent cakes and food. For those that decide to stay here I definitely suggest to add this feature
The bell of the City Hall is positioned right in the center of the little town and give a "dong" each 15min ...also during the night! It is not something for which the hotel is responsible, but unfortunately prevent to sleep well all over the town center

Incredible welcome by Zamira! She was so helpful, recommending places, booking us taxi, etc. We loved the place and felt at home!

One of a kind property, worth a stay
The bell (tower?) rang three times an hour, disrupting any sleep! It rang at .00, 0.03 and 00.30. forget about getting any REM. I wish I knew this before booking.

The host is the sweetest and most helpful lady and her property is truly kept in the old aristocrat mansion manner. The room, as well as the common areas have all original furniture and the vibe is unique. The garden is also amazing and the town has some good eating spots!
The bathroom facilities are a bit ineffective. It is very nice to have an old style bathtub but it is not very practical and makes a bit of a mess around. But definitely worth it for the vibe.

The Communication and the way Staff handled our wished, as well as The location and the interior of the accommodation, were outstanding. We fell in complete love with the Place and can recommend it to almost everyone. If you are in the area, you truly have to check-out the place.

I really liked the service before arrival and the punctuality of the hostess. Parking was an important aspect in that location and so the private parking space for the guests was an excellent idea. The facility was not only surprisingly well catered but also a history lesson in the middle of our stay. I prefer not to share more in order to not ruin the lovely surprise for other guests. I will definitely return with my family without a second thought!!!
Nothing to do with the facility or host, it's a small town and so the locals can be impatient with tourists. Travel with an experienced driver as the roads are really narrow and it is easy to get lost.

it is a very charming Vintage hotel.
reception very friendly and interested.
hotel own parking.
room service only upon request and if staff at all available. 1 (one) sachet of shower / shampoo per person per stay, so better bring Your own. also toilet paper. room only superficially cleaned.
breakfast buffet on 2nd day not available. wrong servings of coffee and eggs , despite very friendly :“ so why not“😃
garden chairs not clean and garden not looked after.
worst is the bar right across the street with (disputable) music until late night. the wobbly metal frame bed does not support a good sleep either.

great antic place but all facilities are in perfect shape, very helpful staff, super nice place to eat just nearby

Garden of the house and location. Very friendly staff.
The city bell rings every half hour - even at night. The feeling of having all the old objects in the house and the smell of old in the building could be a bit unpleasant.
