We spent a week here with our two kids, ages 8 and 10. Wonderful location, close and easy access to Balboa Park, downtown, Mission Valley, etc. Great spot to use as a home base while exploring areas around San Diego County (Legoland, Safari Park, Julian, etc.) Owners were great, helpful and extra friendly, really great people. Absolutely would stay here again if the opportunity arose!

Clean, good friendly manager but rooster in the morning. It was small for 4 people but that was accurate in the description.

The host was excellent and communicative! We had plenty of space for our needs, the bathroom was a nice size, and the outdoor seating area was sweet.
I was not expecting the rental unit to be attached to the house, but it was not a problem. I was surprised that there was no air conditioning, but the windows opened and the weather was lovely. The neighborhood and parking were intimidating but it worked. The couch bed was very uncomfortable and I would say bring your own pillows.

This cozy property provided exactly what we needed, a comfortable place for us to sleep and a great outdoor space to hang out in. We grilled out every night saving money on eating out. it also gave us time to hang out with our grandchildren. It was an easy trip to the beach and the zoo. It was a perfect fit, and the check-in check-out was super easy. Esmeralda was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed and followed up to be sure we enjoyed our stay.

I was looking for an area in San Diego to stay and after many hours I almost gave up. Then I found this home and it worked great! Esmeralda was very kind, communicative, and easy to work with. Throughout my stay she made sure I was accommodated and comfortable. If you’re looking for a place in San Diego I’d definitely check this place out!

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip to Comic-con. The outdoor area was amazing and the host and the neighbor Harvey were extremely welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay here again next year

The guest house was unbelievably cozy. The warm vibes were what we're use to. The parents who lived in the main house were extremely kind and accommodating. We felt right at home. I loved the design of the home and I'd go back anytime amd I will. Thank you Ezzie, Blanca and JJ.

This was a great vacation rental! I would definitely stay here again.
It was clean (spotless!), quiet (I woke to birdsong on the first morning), safe, and comfortable.
There were three adults staying there. I slept on the pull out couch and it was surprisingly comfortable ! I'd sleep there again. The shower was hot and nice. The space was friendly and inviting.
The place is about 25 minutes from the airport. It is about 20 minutes from SDSU (as I drove!). I'm not sure how far it is from Old Town because we made a detour at Nothing Bundt Cake (an excellent detour!). The location is excellent!
I really enjoyed my two nights here.
