I love that access codes were emailed and texted in advance. Check-in and check-out was streamlined. Well done.
NO hot water. And the change/cancellation policy is unreasonable and implacable. I doubt I'd book again. This is my second run with Vacasa. I would have looked elsewhere if I knew it was one of their properties. I thought it would have a cooktop, not just a sink and microwave. The coffee maker didn't even work.

Location was good for enjoying time in town.
Breakfast choices were fresh and plentiful.
Walking on Main Street to get to the pool and hot tub. AC unit under the microwave counter in a corner with a wall that blocked air flow into the room.

Remember the movie Hot Tub TIme Machine? Your hotel reminded me of that one without the magical hot tub and the all of the cats.
Needs updated badly

This was a very successful stay. The hotel is very conveniently located and quiet, the rooms were nice, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the TV was huge! We had fun watching the presidential debate. The breakfast was excellent: fresh fruit, waffles, French toast, fresh orange juice, coffee with half-and-half (major points for that!), cereal, and more. The hotel is expensive, but very reasonable for downtown Aspen. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Our only quibble, and it's a minor one, was that the bedding was skimpy. Nothing comfy to pull up under my chin. I will definitely book here again, but will bring a cotton throw for the bed.

It was walkable to town
Room not clean
Hair in bathtub drain, bathtub old and stained, didn’t drain. Soap in old soap dispenser in tub so old it was congealed.
No fan or vent in bath room for steam, no bath mat or Matt for tub or grab bars making it dangerous for older people like us.
Stains on my sheets!
All the so called amenities are old and worn
Coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, a/c
Furniture old scuffed and scuffed.
I was shocked when we checked in as advertising this as “luxury hotel” is laughable, except that it is my money. Hardly ever staff on site for issue resolution. We were also suppose to have a room with a balcony but didn’t.
I have pictures of my complaints if you are interested.
I contacted the phone numbers provided for issues but never got a proper response except that “someone would get back to me”.
Finally a young gal on duty one night called a local manager and a small amount of money was refunded for cleaning because of the hair in the tub and stained sheets.

The breakfast was okay and the location was okay... but all the furnishings, carpets, plumbing fixtures were all extremely dated and in desperate need of updating.
All the furnishings, carpets, plumbing fixtures were extremely dated and in desperate need of updating. For the money this property was highly over-priced. We would not stay here again, nor would be ever recommend this property to friends or family.

The breakfast was basic but decent for a quick bite, especially if you plan on brunch after skiing a few laps

Todo perfecto no tuvimos cosas que nos desagraden

We liked having a south facing balcony that had a little view. Beds were comfy and location was great. The happy hour and breakfast were above our expectations. Front desk was very helpful. Nice to have parking, if you could find a spot. We got the last one at the time.
I'm embarrassed I agreed to pay so much for one night but my hands were tied with no other options. The property could use some updates. There's lots of stairs. Balconies need cleaning. Happy hour was too quiet. Needs music.

La atención personalizada
Todo me gustó, el personal muy atento

The room is clean and warm. Daily breakfast is good and apres-ski snacks in the weekends is lovely. The location is 5min walk to the shuttle bus to ski resorts. Check in and out is quite easy too.
The jacuzzi and swimming pool isn’t working well during my stay. People upstairs walk very loudly …

Very friendly and helpful front desk service person.
Date motel-style rooms, typically would be $80/night, but being located in a posh ski town charges over $500. No visible efforts from the management to do ANY improvements. Pool was not operational even though listed in the amenities.

Close to downtown
Breakfast could have had more options

Easy access to bus system. Parking was good. Staff were great.
This is a very dated hotel. Very noisy could hear toilets flushing and shower running in all rooms next to us and above. Could hear a person phone conversation in room above us. The door key code was a 10 (ten) digit code! Always took a bunch of time to pull out phone and punch in the 10 digits, totally unnecessary. Very expensive.

Great location, friendly staff.
Nothing.

Breakfast satisfied our needs. Good selection of breakfast items.
An elevator would be helpful given how heavy my suitcase was and my room was on the top floor. Hot water in the shower sometimes didn’t last more than 7 minutes.
2.5
Good location, close to restaurants.
Honestly, it isn’t worth the price that you pay. You can hear people from other rooms talking and walking, and even until late at night. For the price you pay, you would think you will get for a better bathroom, but bathrooms are old. I was traveling around the mountains and I paid three times more than I paid in other places.

Breakfast was good... would have liked a little more protein (bacon, sausage)
AC contols worked intermittently...
Sheets/blankets on the bed were difficult (tucked, heavy, slippery)

Good location, nice room and excellent breakfast
Needs some money spent on the bedrooms, looking a bit tired

Nothing
The room had a horrible odor which the guy who greeted us upon arrival mentioned. He tried to keep us out of the room as long as possible. It had apparently been cleaned but smelled like sewer. He said he was sorry the room hadn't been stayed in and the pipes smelled. We left. When they checked on the room we told them we had left it smelled so horrible and they offered us a refund of $69 which I guess is the cleaning fee. They had no other rooms and did not refund the amount of the room of $500. This place is terrible.

Staff
Too much money for a run down property that wasn’t that clean and the breakfast was just ok at best!

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Wonderful location for walking

Breakfast was good. Location was good. Front desk reception was good.
The room ac did not work well. I could not get any sleep because the stomping from the room above was unbearable. My reservation was cancelled allegedly because the location was sold then I was given a new reservation at approximately twice the price.

No elevator and I was on the top floor - very hot and air conditioner did not cool well- needs updating.

Not much. It was clean and a place to shower and sleep. Breakfast was very good.
This property is very dated. There is no elevator and there was no staff to greet us. Since we had our room and code we just went on up. This property looks nothing like the above pic. It is run down and in need of updating. We paid too much for what it was. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t run it at night. The hot water took awhile to get to the 4th floor.

This was a solid, expectation-meeting 3 star hotel in a nature adjacent area. It has clearly been kept clean and well maintained since before I was born. The room itself was fine if a bit dinged up. Common areas are all “classic mountain lodge” - stone fireplace, Adirondack style comfy chairs, nicely provisioned kitchen area.
The room had one of those in-window air conditioners which was incredibly loud when running. When turned it off it would significantly increase in volume for about 10 minutes before shuddering to a halt. Think airport or football stadium level volume. It wasn’t hot while we were there so we just unplugged it.
We visited during the Food and Wine Classic so what we paid to stay there was highway robbery. More that a Ritz or W per night. That part was disgusting. Aspen is a sweaty little tourist trap.

breakfast buffet was good
Totally outdated and run down. rotting windows, glued on sink, old carpeting.
there were dishes left outside someones room for at least 24 hours.

I appreciated that the room’s refrigerator was actually cold. Hospitality was excellent and the breakfast lay out was more than I expected.
I was disappointed that the little pool and hot tub were not available. But this is nice to have on site. Also, the carpets could use a refreshing, they showed their age, but were clean.

Location
Nightmare (end to end)!
Problem 1 >> I booked it about 2 mo. in advance, however 10 days before the arriving day I received a cancellation msg from the hotel, suggesting overbooking.
I contacted Booking.com, which provided me an excellent support.
Two days later the same hotel showed several rooms available, however the price was almost double, suggesting they dropped my reservation just because they were willing a higher price.
Booking.com kindly allowed me to stay in the same hotel, agreeing to pay me back the difference via reimbursement.
At the Hotel >
Problem 2 > The hotel was very empty; however, they gave us a room with a VERY noisy air conditioner that was not colling, we have had to sleep with windows opened, regardless the noise of the street.
Problem 3 > I went to the front desk around 11pm to require another room and there nobody there, the front Door completely Unlocked and ZERO Staff in the hotel. So, I called the Hotel # and a person that answered the phone told me:
a) The front Door Opened is the normal procedure.
b) Regarding the Air Conditioner Noisy and not colling, he could not do anything because he was not there.
Problem 4 > At the following day morning I went to the front desk to request another room, the person told me that regarding the air conditioner noisy, he could not do anything, because all hotel rooms had the same air conditioner.
Regarding the front door opened/unlocked during all night without any staff in the hotel, he confirmed that he could NOT do anything either.
Regarding the air conditioner not colling, he suggested to send maintenance guys to fix that in the room, so considering the day was colder, I decided to skip the offer.
Problem 5 > At the day I was leaving, I requested the Receipt to allow my partial reimbursement with Booking.com, the from desk told me he could not provide me that.
