My husband & I along & our 3 daughters stayed here Friday to Monday in July 2024 for our daughter's wedding. It was perfect! 15 minutes from Deep In the Heart wedding venue. 5 minutes from downtown Brenham. The cottage was very clean, cozy, had everything we needed and more. Nikki was a fantastic hostess! She had a lovely note to welcome us next to a bottle of complementary wine and mini Blue Bell ice creams in the freezer! The frig was stocked with cold water bottles for us. There was a Kuerig machine and coffee K-cups for us to use. The bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of nice plush towels. She even had an ironing board, iron and steamer in master closet which we made good use of getting ready for rehearsal dinner. Nikki allowed us a slightly later check out as we were dragging the morning after the wedding. We forgot a couple of items and she promptly mailed them to my house the very next day. This is the best VRBO experience I've had and highly recommend staying here!

We met my brother and sister-in-law from Georgetown while we are from Houston area to plan a summer trip to Europe, so it was a working getaway! We got it all done though. Had some wonderful meals at local restaurants and stopped at an art show in Fayetteville after we checked out to see another brother and his wife who were in the show with their Gourd Art! It was a lovely, clean home complete with a complimentary bottle of wine, lots of coffee and Blue Bell ice cream! We will look forward to a return visit.

The Chauncy Cottage was just as posted on VRBO. Communication with Host was seamless. Nikki has thought of everything we needed and she even supplied extra sweets for our Birthday Celebration. We would definitely stay again when visiting Brenham.

This house far exceeded our expectations! The decorating looked professionally. The house was very clean and well maintained. Nikki had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and things we didn't know we needed! Plus, she left extra treats for us. I was sure she must have a portfolio of properties based on how excellent this property was. She said No just this one. The love she puts into it shows!

We were very impressed with the Cottage and Nikki. The thought and details put into the home made for an exceptional stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, the space was perfect for our group of 4 and Nikki was very easy to contact. I would highly recommend staying here!!

We enjoyed our stay so much and we look forward to coming back. Nikki was a great host and went above and beyond in providing things we needed. The house was well designed and clean. Beds were super comfortable (and I’m very picky about beds). We went to an A&M football game but the drive wasn’t that bad.

The Bright and Cozy house was perfect for our stay during the Texas Youth Expo steer and heifer show. Everything was as advertised we just wish we would have been able to utilize the outdoor area, but the rain put a damper on that. The house has plenty of space and is fully stocked with everything we needed, down to the seasonings and coffee bar. The large front porch made for a great spot to watch the rain. The beds and pillows are very comfortable.

We loved our stay at this Beautiful Cottage! Very Clean, Comfortable and well stocked. Very Close to variety of Restaurants, Downtown and surrounding areas. Nikki, the Owner, was so sweet and thoughtful leaving us a wonderful Gift for our Anniversary! If there are any questions, Nikki gets back to you immediately! Couldn't ask for a better Host. Really enjoyed our Getaway! Thank YOU.

We have a wonderful stay at this property, it was very clean. I would say immaculate as i like it, every thing looks brand new and looks even nicer than pictured. The cottage is very charming and cozy, perfect for families. It was a plus to have 2 bathrooms. The backyard is very well manicure, it has a covered area with a picnic table, also firepit to enjoy a nice evening! I am a wedding and event planner and I can see she thought in every detail to decorate the cottage and thinking in her guests . NIKKI WAS THE MOST AMAZING HOSTESS EVER! She was very helpful with everything in our stay, She answer my messages and didn't hesitate to help immediately. It was our anniversary, so when we arrived I found a gift from her. The most beautiful Tulips I have ever had and a bottle of wine. She is so sweet!. We love this cottage, even my mom felt safe and very comfortable. The property is very close to downtown. Adorable house in Brenham, Texas. The house was very clean and well-appointed. 15-20 minute drive to Round Top. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Nikki was a great communicator. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!

WOW…This charming property was EVERYTHING it claimed to be and even BETTER than pictured !! Cutest little Home tucked away on a non traffic street! The home was immaculate, perfectly organized, and had all the essentials you would need for a short or long term stay! Beds and bedding were AMAZING! SUPER CLEAN, UPDATED THROUGHOUT (everything was new and fresh) DARLING MODERN DECOR, LUSH BACKYARD WITH STRUNG EDSON LIGHTS, COVERED AREA WITH A PICNIC TABLE FOR A PERFCT BACKYARD GATHERING! Nikki was a DREAM HOSTESS … Answered quickly to messages and had the sweetest little welcome gift when we arrived! My girls and I will definitely return to stay again!!! The Knapp Girls
