About this house rental
Welcome to our guest house, located in the heart of Lancaster County and central to all the major attractions It has to offer!
Though we are located on a quiet country road we are only minutes from Route 30 and close to Sight and Sound Theatre, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, American Music Theatre, Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, The Village of Intercourse, Kitchen Kettle Village etc.
The space
Whether you are coming for a family vacation or a weekend getaway you’ll be sure to enjoy our cozy cottage with all the amenities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked where you can easily prepare your own meals! Dining room has table with bench and 4 chairs.
Washer and dryer are available to use.
Our spacious living room makes it easy to kick back and relax!! You’ll also have a dedicated work space if you’re working remotely.
Be sure to enjoy our cozy little sunroom surrounded with windows where it’s peaceful to just sit and enjoy the views!!
There is a half bath on the main floor as well.
On the second floor there is a full bath with claw foot tub and shower. Master bedroom with king bed, closet and dresser for storage. Bedroom #2 with queen bed and closet. Bedroom #3 with queen bed, closet and dresser for storage.
Other things to note
This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house next door has a few dogs that occasionally bark when they see or hear you outside, but for the most part they are kept inside.

Very clean and comfortable. Located near everything we wanted to see. Cozy beds. Decorated simply and beautifully. Shower was a bit difficult for my 6' boys and 81 year old father, a bit dangerous and hard to not get water on the floor. Everything else was great!

We had a lovely time, the home was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures. The air conditioner worked great and kept up cool on those 108 degree days and warm nights.

Greatly enjoyed our visit to this comfy and cozy home. Owner has tastefully decorated and provided thoughtful amenities throughout (smart tv, grill, small appliances, w/d). Beds were super cozy with perfect firmness and pillows. Beautiful backyard with lush grass. Nice, thoughtful neighbor. Only comment is for mobility impaired guests; there is a large flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms and no walk-in shower - just small, freestanding tub.

The property was in an ideal location to see everything in the area. In a quiet neighborhood but close to the country side. All attractions were within a short drive. Property was clean and had everything we needed. We all loved it.

My husband and I took my parents to Sight and Sound. We stayed at Meadow Lane Cottage. It was the perfect place for us! The cottage was immaculate! The inside was spotless, the yard groomed and beautiful! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, very peaceful! It is a great place for kids and/or adults, accommodates both. The beds were very comfortable, living and dining room had plenty of room for us all to sit comfortably. The location is away from the crowds, yet close enough to drive a short distance to surrounding events, shopping, outings. The property manager was wonderful to communicate clear, timely instructions, no issues. We would definitely want to stay here again, hopefully bringing our two grandchildren next time. Wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

The house was beautifully updated, while maintaining it’s historic charm. A perfect, quiet location, centrally located minutes from popular destinations in Lancaster. Very clean and many modern amenities.

Home was beautifully decorated, comfortable and stocked well. Our only "complaint" was the tub/shower. It was difficult to keep water from splashing out when showering due to the setup. Truly enjoyed the stay regardless.

Property was updated, immaculate and very comfortable. Tastefully decorated, charming yet modern and cozy. We loved our stay and plan to come back in the spring. Lovely home.

The house was clean, nicely decorated and in a good location for what we wanted to see in the area. There weren't many electrical outlets - just one in our bedroom - and since both my husband and I have cpap machines, we were glad we had brought an extention outlet cord.

We sisters were very pleased with our stay at Meadow Lane Cottage. The house was even better than described. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and neat. We loved everything about it. We would definitely stay there again. We would highly recommend it for your stay in the Amish country. Great communication with the owner.

My family and I spent 5 peaceful days..We ate well, slept well, and spent some much needed time away from the city hustle and bustle. The property was spotless, the reels spacious, there are a variety of outdoor options to enjoy. We has a great time that was made better by wonderful hosts

4 close friends got together to go to our annual scrapbook show. Arrangements were simple. House is gorgeous - perfect for a great long weekend getaway. Close to everything we needed. Off-street parking was a plus as well. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I met up with my best friend from Ohio (who has been my PenPal for the last 35 years). We had an amazing time catching up and the place was beautiful. We all loved it. It was just as described in the listing. Very clean and so charming. It was very very clean. The only thing we wished was that there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but other then that we would definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming home, surprised by the yard out back. Next time ill bring my corn hole game ! Back entrance is a private area and we enjoyed the grill, sun porch, and yard. Beds were very comfortable. We brought fans for upstairs bedrooms since it was very hot outdoors. The ac does work upstairs but the soft blowing fan added our comfort. Definitely rent again !

The hosts were responsive. Place was clean and very comfortable! Perfect size for us.
Only complaint is that the AC system does not seem strong enough to cool upstairs bedrooms when it’s in the high 80s or above. No fault of hosts it’s just an older home and system.

This was a great house exactly that is exactly as pictured. Everything was very new, clean and no corners have been cut. Great bedding, furniture, and decor made for a wonderful rental experience. I highly recommend this one if you are looking for 3 BR 1.5 baths.
