The restaurant area is really nice and the Philippine staff are amazing - so friendly and accommodating, especially Zammie she was the highlight of my stay.
The huts are way too hot, I was really uncomfortable during my stay here so I reduced my stay. The fan in the hut is not strong enough to keep the space cool in my opinion. I also thought that the volunteers take up a lot of space, leaving their belongings on the mattresses in the common area and around the hammock which made it feel like you were a guest in their space, as opposed to a paying guest.

I love the peace and quiet here. The laidback atmosphere and chill vibes really helped me to relax, catch up on some reading, and reflect on my purpose. The staff were so helpful, kind, and accommodating. Truly, it is wonderful in Wonderland.

Fairy lights and good drinks. Aesthetically pleasing.
Very loud animals all through the night and morning. They are free ranging around and it makes the stay very uncomfortable so could not sleep.

lovely place with good food and the huts are pretty cool.
i would not recommend this to anyone travelling alone and/or trying to meet people. there is nothing social going on and the staff are nice but are pretty exclusive with their activities.

Wonderland is a great place to stay. You can see that everything they are doing is made with love and taken great care of, always having in mind the positive effect on the environment and individual beings. There is a lot of attention to details all around.
The room was very cozy with nice lighting, fluffy carpets, a moscito net around the bed and a hammock.
The restaurant offered a great variety of vegan food which tasted delicious. I’d say almost best food on the island.
They offered motorbikes which is useful to get around the island, also they were very helpful organizing transfer to the port.
The staff was friendly and the activities offered were community building.
Our hut was newly built and even though daily cleaning was offered there was just a lot of dust in the room. This will for sure pass with time but for now everything was dusty within hours of staying there.
The bathroom could’ve used a little mirror above the sink and also the sink could’ve been bigger.
It wasn’t possible to lock the bathroom door and to open the windows because of construction mistakes. Also the door couldn’t be locked which could easily be solved with a wooden stick at least for the night.
The community activities like yoga or meditation could use some space away from the restaurant and street so there’s a safe and private space

The communal area is wonderfully decorated and the vibe is amazing. Food at the restaurant is very tasty with good portions. All of the staff is attentive and made me feel at home. Mattress was very comfortable and the shower area feels like you’re in the jungle. They even made me a handmade painted sign with my name on it for my hut! Very helpful with questions and giving recommendations. Also, it’s very convenient that they have motor bikes for rent on site. The location is one of the best to stay in Siquijor, close to the Paliton beach and many good restaurants nearby.
I stayed in the one person hut which would have been way more comfortable if it was just a little bit bigger. Did not have any space available for the daily things that you use.
Bring good earplugs since there are roosters in the middle of the night.

Coziness
Not comfortable and too loud to get a good night's sleep. The sleeping was ultra low quality.

Close to beautiful beach. Lots of free activities. Good vibe. Local staff is friendly. Lots of animals.
We stayed in the “deluxe” hut, and even though it had a nice interior, I think it was not worth the price (when comparing to other accomodations in the Philippines). First of all it was placed next to the shared rest rooms which gave a bad smell from time to time. Second of all, there was a constant sprinkle of bamboo dust from the ceiling, which made it difficult to store our luggage/clothes inside the hut without it getting dirty. Third of all, we had lots of little bugs in the bed which we had to remove before going to sleep. For these reasons, we asked to have the hut cleaned/made up, but was not really done, which was a bit disappointing.
3.5
The vibe of the place was very good, good condition in the bungalow, lighting and plugs for charging. Community meals are well organised.
The water pressure and temperature wasn't great, there was a bit of a sewage smell in our hut.

Huts are lovely, at night time the fairy lights are beautiful. Eating/ sitting area is lovely and cosy nice place to have a coffee and read! Showers are decent. Food is great but expensive
Apart from one friendly staff member I found the others to be quite the opposite- really missed that friendly welcoming vibe that has been in other hostels. No lockers or space for bag- would make a huge difference to have somewhere to open out bag!

A very relaxing vibe, friendly staff and volunteers, and lots of opportunities for activities if you choose. I ended up extending my stay which says a lot about how I enjoyed my time there
Not much but the roosters were quite loud through the night

Estuvo lloviendo y no hubo ningun problema.

Cute place with a cosy restaurant. You sleep in small huts called tents that has its own little fan and some decorative lights. As it is small all your luggage has to be outside. No lockers. There 4 four natural outdoor showers with warm water or use the bucket water. Separate washing station for cleaning your teeth. There is a cosy restaurant / chill area at reception where you can order vegan food and drinks. There are daily communal dinners at 19.30 you can join. Great food! The place is close to Paliton beach (10 min walk) with a great sunset. You can rent a scooter from the hostel (400 pesos/day). A scooter is needed for this island. I stayed 3 nights at Wonderland then went to See-kee-hor hostel for 4 nights (more of a breezy wind there).
There is a schedule with daily activities but when I was there non of the activities really happened, which was unfortunate. Would have been great to feel more included with the volunteers working there... I would have like to see them invite the travelers for fun activities, games or something similar. So I was missing this welcoming vibe you sometimes get at other hostels.

Cozy little huts, really good restaurant and beautiful place
I came for New Year's Eve as a solo traveler and stayed for 6 nights, I was expecting a social place with a lot of social activities and workshops, as they show on their Instagram account. Sadly, there weren't any for the whole week and I found out at the reception that nothing was planned for New Year's Eve. Also, it looks like there is a lack of communication between the reception and the "volunteers". Every day, I would ask if the yoga class was happening, they couldn't tell me. On the last morning, the class was supposed to happen, but the volunteer didn't show up, so I gave the class myself. Also, there is a board at the entry of the reception to show the schedule of the activities/workshops that wasn't fitting with what was happening (aka nothing). I also got my shampoo stolen in the common area of the bathroom.
4.5
It is such a lovely place.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
The amazingly beautiful Paliton beach 10min walk away.
The food from the restaurant was delicious.
It’s easy to meet people on the commun area.
The bungalow/ tent was a little bit too small to put my backpack inside. But there was space “under” it so even if it’s rain it’s not going to get wet anyway (or you can let your bag at the reception also). So it’s not really a problem after all ;)

Top top top !

3.5
Nice huts, though very very small and probably not for everyone. Good location and various vegan food options.
In the dark it’s not well lit and when raining very slippery. Showers and toilets did not work the whole time. Service is very slow and it takes ages to get food or drinks.
4.5

The private room was nice
There are about 30 cockerels on the property right outside all the rooms that keep everyone up all night. I found it impossible to sleep well.
4.5
The ambience and vibe of the place! Definitely something that's not for those who expect AC and other common amenities.

Super cozy environment. Well integrated in the nature. Reinforces the environment and the magic of Siquijor.
The huts are comfy, with several details inside, like earplugs, lavender oil, fairylights everywhere… yes the huts are short and you gotta watch your head, but it is what you get in a hut.
The mosquito nets are wonderful and work perfectly. The fan is super strong so you dont feel too warm nor sweaty at all.
The outdoors shower is pure bliss. They are constantly cleaning the bathrooms.
The food at the restaurant is TO DIE FOR. Huuuuuge portions, and very, very delicious and nutritious meals.
We knew it was cute and it would be fun, but it exceeded our expectations.
Everything was perfect, but since some parts of the hostel are still under construction, there are several construction things around that could be removed, or that you can trip and fall in the night. Also, the garden could use a bit of maintenance, like cleaning up old leaves, weeds, all stepping stones being fixed, etc
4.5
The staff are very accommodating and helpful when needed. Ambiance was really nice specially if you want to take a break from the city life. You’ll hear the sound of insects at night and roosters in the morning.
Single tent would be amazing if its a little more spacious than just enough to fit a single bed. Other varieties of food would be nice to have too than just limited to vegan specially for non vegan people.

This is a truly magical place… surrounded by stunning nature and a strong community of beautiful people. I really love it here and I can’t recommend it enough!

Loved the tents, private and cozy, well set up with individual charging port, lights and a fan. Staff were great, friendly and helpful, volunteers and atmosphere were awesome and welcoming. Outdoor electric showers
Only minor complaint is that although there is a great restaurant, hostels usually have access to a boiling water and a fridge at least, and often a place to prepare your own food to keep costs down. Again staff were very helpful but it wasn’t readily accessible.
4.5
I liked seeing the huts light up at night, looked like a fairy garden. The outdoor like showers and cleaning areas really made you feel like you’re in the Philippines.
The fairy lights and the ambience inside the tree house was super cute, glowy and warm. The fan was enough, if anything we didn’t even need the fan to be comfortable. Decent temperature all day. Mattresses super soft, 300 pesos meal ever evening to sit and make friends if you wish. Art brushes and paints available. Very community based feel to it.
The toilet didn’t flush on a few occasions but that’s the Philippines in general.
4.0
Cool vibe & lots of space
not very clean - got given somebody else's bed at first then another one and I had the impression the bedsheets hadn't been changed.
4.0
Beautiful jungle hostel, super aesthetic and cute. I loved all the little details and how green it was. The Filipino ladies working there are adorable. The bathroom and outside showers were spacious and pretty cool, they were clean and there was hot water. The common area was inviting and quite large so you could have your own space if you needed some solo time.
The huts are super cute and the concept is great, but I personally didn’t feel like they were fully “functional”. They’re just too small for my own comfort I think. You can sit up in the hut, but the mosquito net is kinda always in the way, and if it’s not the mosquito net it’s the fan. You literally have to crawl into bed and forget about trying to change in the hut. But my main issue was the dogs barking at night and the roosters going wacko at dawn. Getting a good night of sleep was a real struggle, which is a shame because the place really has its magic and I really liked Wonderland.
