Enjoyed overall experience.

The view was great, peaceful and perfect. It is also close too town and has a nice walking trail in back.

The futon bed was not at all comfortable and squeaky so not good for sleeping if u want two beds.

This motel was well worth the price and we were very comfortable staying here.

The motel was very clean and it seemed to be newly renovated. It was near town and we had a great view of Lake Superior from our large window. There was a deck with chairs, a table, and an umbrella right outside our room. The bed was comfortable and there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The check in and check out process was easy. It was affordable and we really enjoyed our trip!

Beautiful view of Lake Superior

Advertised for 2 queen beds and 1 bed and sofa bed required to make the bed with sheets supplied. Also no breakfast options. Too many emails confirming stay at least a dozen.

Great property with great communication in a fun city.

Very modern, new, clean & comfortable. It was more like an AirB&B than a motel room. There was a living area and a cute little kitchen with an eating area that looked out to the lake. There is a nice outdoor patio as well.

Great location and staff, reasonably priced, with mediocre sleeping accommodations.

Friendly, prompt, accommodating staff. Great location. Very clean.

Advertises as having air conditioning but they really didn’t. There was one in the room but then they stated that they controlled the room temperature not you. If you pay for a room with air conditioning you should be able to control your own room temperature. The quality of the mattress and pillows were not the best and could use an upgrade.

It was just okay

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room with a deck just out our door. There is a walking path just behind the property. I liked that the lights had dimmer switches.

The bed was very soft so we had sore backs. The room was very small, but we didn't mind that. The floor was swept, but not as clean as we like. The wifi was poor. You have to borrow a hair dryer from the office. The only mirror was a round one over the bathroom sink.

Disappointed

If we would have been staying in the building as pictured above i think it we would have enjoyed it.

We were put in a building that was not pictured as above. It looked to be an apartment converted to airbnb. Someone lived there. Our bedding had pee or another kind of stain on it and there was black long hair on our sheets. We asked to have clean and they did. We were thinking we were seeing the water instead it was a mural on the wall. When we asked if we could get partial reimbursement we were told no because we got a good value on booking.com and they were not responsible since we booked through them. Very frustrating when you see the photos of the place n then get an apartment looking complex. We did call them and talked to the caretakers when they came to change the sheets. We were small business owners and this place is owned by a family and i normally never write a review unless it’s positive but we feel asking a refund of half was fair. Personally if i had stains on my bedding and hair and moved people to another location i would have done something. Again, i feel if we would have been put in the building as the pictures show we might of had a better experience. We had a wonderful vacation but this hotel disappointed us. I am more for people taking responsibility but we heard you booked through booking.com n it is their problem. We were told that’s what happens when you book through them.

Very pleasant

Love how one of the walls in our room is painted! Pretty good coffee in the room! The place is spotless.

No screens on the windows. Would be nice to have a faucet in the shower to wash your feet

Cozy stay in Bayfield with gorgeous view.

Gorgeous view of the Lake and very comfortable. Contactless check-in and check-out with responsive staff members.

The cost was more than I was expecting for the property.

This motel served it's purpose providing a place to sleep.

There was no food service at this motel. What I did like was the location, it's location is perfect.

The parking area was gravel, & very limited space. The room was extremely small.

It was cold and we did not have a remote for the AC. So we used the heater with the AC.

Exceptional

My husband and I were scheduled to tent camp the night that we stayed at the Seagull Bay Motel but it rained pretty heavily that day. We were very grateful for the pleasant room and that our hostess waited there for us to arrive safely. The town itself is also very lovely!

Disappointing

The owners need to,spend more money on the furnishings- end tables and reading lights by the bed. There was only one chair in the room. Rooms were quite small

Great time!

Location was excellent! Easy and beautiful walk to downtown area with shops and good eating, as well as to harbor, ferry, and trails. Appreciated the quiet atmosphere, especially after busy, active, outdoor days!

Owners and staff - Friendly, helpful. Pride of ownership shows!

Better toiletries, i e soaps & lotion and mirror next to tv Will be great when all rooms are renovated!

Nice, quiet place to stay in Bayfield.

Nice location away from downtown Bayfield, but close enough to get there by walking or a short drive. We had a nice corner room with a nice view of Lake Superior.

Strange bathroom layout. Shower and toilet in one large room, washbasin in the main room in a corner.
