Lovely log burner, kitchen was spacious although lacked essentials i.e. coffee. Loved having a shed to store the bike. Smart TV being able to log into various apps. Lots of lovely walks from the doorstep. Short drive to Betws-y-Coed. Local shop for amenities.
The place was unclean. Lots of cobwebs and spiders. Floors were dirty/stained. Having a choice of shower heads was great, but they were grubby. Smelt musty.
The garden was overgrown and not kept. The heater didn't work in the main bedroom. The sofas were uncomfortable. Have to prepare hot water when needed, i.e., it takes a while to heat up once the switch is turned on.
Parking wasn't free, had to park in church car park for a donation.

Potential for the perfect holiday home. Ideal peaceful location in village 10 minutes out side of delightful but very touristic Beth’s-y-coed. Cottage is tucked away and garden is a lovely space for dog or just sitting. Interior is cute and cosy .
Really does need a refurb. For the price, is a little disappointing as furnishings are very old. Lovely modern bathroom but sofas and beds are a little old to be comfortable. Some utensils need replacing e.g toilet brushes and bathroom waste bin. Both are a bit rusty. Not too clean either. Just a thorough spring clean would fix that. Parking awkward, “as Warned”, but with a mobility problem a little difficult for my personal use.

Pub is 1 min walk from the cottage and goes local ales. There are trail paths up into the nearby hills. You can get to Moel Siabod and Betwsy-coed via walking. The cottage itself had a kitchen with everything you could want
Never figured out the perfect setting for the shower. It is an imerson heater, so you either have no warm water or you try to reduce the heat in the shower. Maybe a dummy guide to using the shower would help :)

Right by a shop and pub. Beautiful views and great location for hiking.

Brilliant location and perfectly clean. Having a drink in the sun room or at the table at the top of the garden was so relaxing. The kitchen was also a really good size and well stocked so that we could cook our own meals easily.

Great location with beautiful views. Cottage had everything you need for a short break away in the countryside. The house was clean and well equipped.
Kept forgetting to turn the emersion heater on in the morning, so had to wait around for the hot water. That was more our poor memory than anything though. Also, a street light is right outside the front bedroom window so it's very light in there at night and when the sun comes up.

It is an hidden gem! Gorgeous cottage in a stunning area. Loved every minute.

It was a lovely cottage, and we were welcomed with flowers, fresh bread and kind welcome card. The cottage was easy to find, as was the key, and it was in a great location for exploring North Wales.
Good beds, heating, and lovely wood fire.
Couldn't have asked for better.
nothing in particular - the weather was miserable, but we can't blame the cottage for that :)
