Was exactly as advertized. A beautigul older mountain home well appointed and well stocked.

We recently stayed at Aspen Grove for our family vacation. My children(ages 2, 4, and 6) absolutely loved the property.

An absolutely perfect location for families! Aspen Grove did not disappoint, the property provided plenty of room for our family of nine
The views were lovely and having all the outdoor space was perfect for the adults and children. The large (seating 8) allowed for gathering ease. Thank you Aspen Grove!

This was a great property for an extended family gathering. There was plenty of room to spread out but the floor plan allowed us to hang out together too. There were a ton of games, puzzles and toys for both the little ones and the adults. The outdoor area was great too for hanging out. While close to town, it was away from the bustle making the patio a great place to hang out. We heard the elk bugling in the morning, saw numerous deer and even a bobcat! This was a wonderful getaway spot for our family and I would use it again!

The location was fantastic! We were close enough to everything fun, yet far enough away to make it very quiet... and to see a whole heard of Elk walk by while eating breakfast was amazing! The house had everything we could possibly want and was very comfortable, and the deck and land around the house was even better! There was so much space for everyone, and the kids loved all the games, the playroom, and the bunkbeds. Some of us were not really fans of the memory foam mattresses, but everything else was absolutely perfect!

We love the place, just found black hair on the bed sheets and living room carpet. We do have pics of it all. It seems like a pet was in the home or the carpet hasn’t been vacuum. But over all we enjoyed it.

place was easy to find and lots of things close by to go on adventures, we came for a family wedding, it was very close to Black Canyon Inn where the wedding took place, very convenient and beautiful views of the mountains

The property was in a nice secluded area. Great rental for a family with small children. Nice play area outside for the kids and a big deck to enjoy the outdoors. Kids play loft was equipped with plenty of toys for young children. Home was also equipped with plenty of books, and games for kids of all ages. Property manager was very responsive to any concerns that we addressed. Highly recommend.

Quick and easy process. Loved the property

Laundry area must not be on cleaning crew's check list as dryer covered with dust. Listing not clear that office is not always open on Saturday.

This place was amazing! We traveled with another family and their young children. The house was so spacious and perfect for our families. The two family room areas were great and were nice so that we could get a bit of space when needed.. The play room above the kitchen is amazing and the kids loved it so much, as well as the monkey bars an climbing wall and tree swing. The outside space was so incredible and the location was great. The house is well stocked and we had no complaints. Would highly recommend staying here!

Pluses. Gorgeous setting with a private aspen grove beside the generous deck, rocky ridge out back, mountain vista out front, playground (though photos had shown trampoline, which was a big selling point to the kids - it was gone), lots of toys and games and kid-friendly rooms. Tables for dining inside or on deck. VERY convenient location for getting to Estes, grocery, National Park!
Minuses: No basic supplies such as soap, shampoo, dishwasher soap. There was coffee but the large coffee maker malfunctioned enough to be unable to make a pot of coffee. There was a backup French press.
House was not cleaned well including floors, counters, bits of trash here and there. (*This was reported right away and cleaning fee was refunded.). Pillows are old, lumpy and worn out and the king pillows (half of total) had no king pillow cases, so they hung a third way out of the little cases. Downstairs toilet often took three flushes to do the job.
Overall, our family enjoyed our week in Estes Park. Thank you.

Our family of 10 had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The younger kids under 5 loved the loft play room and the older kids enjoyed the board game room. Close access to every thing Estes Park! We will definitely be coming back!

The house is great if you want to be 5 minutes from town but with a country feel. The house has LOTS of character and feels like going to Grandma's cozy cabin! The house layout is nice with 2 living rooms on opposite ends of the house. The kitchen is WELL STOCKED - stainless steel pots/pans, plenty of cooking utensils. The listing says plate service for 8 but had way more than this.
It would have been helpful for families with small children (would have saved us lots of travel space) if property had listed that it had the following:
1. PACK AND PLAY PROVIDED
2. TRAVEL STROLLER PROVIDED
3. BABY HIGH CHAIR PROVIDED
____
They do have a baby gate but it is old and needs to be upgraded. The beds seem to have a new topper and were comfortable.
LOTS of games provided and kids' books!
Saw a beautiful elk out of our kitchen window one morning! Will definitely rent again!

This house has been a perfect stay two years in a row! We have four kiddos, 6 to 15, they all have fun playing around the house, the littles love the play room while the older ones love the board games. Lots of room so we aren’t on top of each other. Enough rooms and beds for us all. It truly feels like a home away from home. The views of the mountains and longs peak are gorgeous. Fully stocked kitchen, beds are comfy! We love eating on the deck and all the seating in the back yard is nice to enjoy in the evening. My favorite things about Estes is RMNP, my family and I did black lake this trip, just lovely. Wore us out but those trails are gorgeous!

This VRBO was a sweet retreat in the mountains. Wildlife (elk, deers, bunnies), beautiful views, an Aspen grove, and seclusion made this an excellent stay. Highly recommend!

We loved our time here. The property is much more charming than even the photos suggest. The huge windows in every main room and the location were our favorite parts. Most windows open to allow the cool mountain air. Just north of the more congested downtown area and about 12 minutes to both NP entrances made it ideal to bypass any traffic and maximize our time in the area. The property is near private cattle land and lumpy ridge and was very peaceful. We saw mule deer most days and elk just minutes away. Our 4 young children loved the outdoor play area and upstairs play nook and used both after returning from the park each day. Would happily stay again when returning to RMNP. :)

Renting a home to accommodate our entire family was a priority when planning our vacation. I came across this beautiful home and quickly decided this was the home we needed! I had no issues when renting, nor did we have any issues once we arrived. The home was not only even more beautiful in person but it was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The views are breathtaking! The drive way was a little tricky to back out of due to trees but we managed. Overall, a great place and would definitely recommend!

We loved the place overall. Close to estes and lumpy trail. Enough room and amenities for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Close to other homes but secluded with trees. Elk right in the yard. Well stocked and supplied. Furniture is dated but comfortable enough and we weren't in the house much anyway. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the mattresses are junk and I mean bad!!!! Furniture is one thing but people do spend time in bed and want to get rest. I can't believe no other reviews mentioned this because they are terrible. To put into context I don't own a fancy serta, sleeprest, or tempurpedic. I own a $500 Zinus memory foam mattress. So we're not mattress snobs but do appreciate one that is not broken down with a 2 inch rock hard topper on it. Please owners just go to something like Zinus and replace the 3 main bed mattresses for a little money and the house would be just about perfect. Overall I would highly recommend but be aware of the bed situation.

Aspen Grove was a comfortable cabin retreat with plenty of room for our family.

Great setup to keep the kids busy, lots of bedroom space. Layout was very interesting. Couple areas could use some tlc, but overall in good shape. Good views, nice deck, overall a great stay. Note that you have to drive to the rental office to get keys and drop keys off which sort of makes the check in/out times confusing.

My husband and I stay here with our three children along with his father and sister. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the playroom loft. We will definitely be staying here again!

The cabin was better than advertised. We had no problems getting checked in and received good directions to the property. The cabin was clean and ready to go upon our arrival. They had everything we needed and more. There are plenty activities nearby for all age groups. Check out was a breeze as well.

My family came up to Estes for my 40th birthday. It was a little last minute(about a month prior) and had a hard time finding a property that slept 10 that was available. We decided to book this house and are so happy we did. It was perfect! The house was like a maze, which the kids loved. There was plenty of stuff to do there for both adults and kids. You're also half a mile from the Lumpy Ridge Trailhead, maybe 10-15 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park's Fall River entrance, and 7 minutes from town. We're planning on doing this again, and we'll definitely book this house! One thing that should be clarified is that the house is listed as "sleeps 10," but when you get the confirmation from the property management company, there is a bullet point that says something about Estes Park vacation properties only being allowed to house 8 people. That was a little confusing. Other than that, I'd definitely book this again.

This property was amazing and perfect for our family! Plenty of space and plenty of bedrooms. The heated tile floor in the kitchen was exactly what we needed while there since temps got very very low! Definitely will stay again!

The house was perfect for us! I was most impressed with how clean it was, it had all the things we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We saw elk, bobcat, mule deer all in the yard. The kids loved playing outside.
Check in and out was easy.
We will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed in this well appointed house for 3 nights. The layout with its multiple small levels is one of my favorite things as it feels like a maze when you first arrive. The house is clean and in a small neighborhood that feels like the middle of nowhere but is just a 5 minute drive to the Main Street of Estes. We would definitely stay here again.

Over all our experience was great. The only complaint is in dealing with the property manager when we called to let them know the trash cans were full. The management company was rude and short. Otherwise it was a lovely visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aspen Grove! The property is exactly as described, and was clean and well-stocked. There is plenty of room for family time and 'alone' time. We highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Estes Park!

The house was spectacular. Could use more blankets for all the possible bedding options. The grill could use a good cleaning, grease fire caused cooking complications for some nice steaks, but we managed to make it work!! Entire family was impressed! Thank you!

Finding a place to accommodate 9 people (3generations) is not always easy. We found the perfect place with Aspen Grove. Quiet. Close to Estes Park. Beautiful views. Up close and personal relationship with the wild life. And plenty of room to stretch out.

Cabin was perfect for our needs. Space to spread as well as space to gather. Located for easy access to all our adventures and necessities. Thank you.

I was disappointed when we first arrived. It was late afternoon and every curtain in the house was shut making it appear dark and disappointing. After opening all of the curtains and letting in the sunlight, it was much better. It met our needs with two separate living spaces, although we didn't all fit in the tv room together. Kitchen was supplied nicely, but it needed a non- stick skillet. Grass in the back yard was very tall and we thought it needed trimmed. However I texted the property manager and never received a response. Overall, an average stay.

We love staying at this house so much this was our 2nd time! Great house and great location!
