To be upfront & fair, my low rating is for the managing company VACASA hired to handle this property. They are the worst to communicate with & forget it if you are asking for any additional accommodations. I spent more time asking/communicating and waiting via text for answers than for things actually getting done. Beautiful rustic home with all the necessary amenities. Fully stocked kitchen, new appliances, an endless supply of pots, pans, dishes, etc. Their front porch is so comfortable, & you can hang out there watching the neighborhood from your view. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. They have a huge tv in the living room that you can pull & tilt any way possible to enjoy the movie! The couches are full leather, you sink into them, ready to watch tv. Recommendation is to please add blankets to the living room. There was only one blanket that was near the window and didn't seem clean (management issue??.
Now the reason why we gave it 3 stars is not of the lovely home, but VACASA. Our first issue happened when asking if we could possibly be accommodated for a late checkout since we leave work at 9 PM (night). The answer was that they could not provide us any late check out because their system doesn't allow them to. the only way you will know if possible is if you receive an email the day before, offering you the option & price difference charge. you will get a text from their company a day b4 checkout to let u know. So we asked for early check in, same answer

When we came, the check in process was straight forward, the place was very cozy and had everything we needed. Location was perfect it was close to the convenience store and had a nice backyard where the kids could play in. Very clean when we arrived and everything looked exactly how it did on the listing.

Cozy and clean little cabin with a beautiful view. The person that decorated it did a beautiful job and you instantly feel at home.

I came up to Running Springs for a mountain getaway and to weed whack my property. I loved the quiet space and cozy cabin. The yard and fully fenced patio were a favorite of the trip as it allowed my senior dog to explore and sunbathe. Just a couple of heads up for management company- we couldn’t get the lamp by the front door to work. Made for poor lighting in the living room area. And the back right burner wasn’t lighting. Otherwise it was a great spot for some R&R. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely consider coming back
