Property was just as advertised! Amazing experience and responsive owner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the view of lake from the deck never gets old! Home is well kept, plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms to accommodate the 9 of us. We were able to enjoy local restaurants, wineries and attractions and come home to kick back, sip some cocktails and laugh the evening away! Thank you

Stayed here with a group of 19 girls for a bachelorette party (ages ranged from 24-40). The property was absolutely amazing! Looked just like the pictures, had everything we needed and for any question I had someone always answered the phone right away. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area! Absolutely beautiful!

We loved staying at this property. It was the perfect fit for our family. The pool was the highlight of our stay and we had great response from property owners if we had questions. The property checked off all the boxes with location right on the lake, enough space for our family, great gathering options for breakfast and meals. Incredible views

Awesome house with plenty of space! Amazing views, close to the beach and the cute little town. We had a great time and it was easy to get in touch with the host when needed!

Perfect venue for a weekend getaway.

This place is very nice if you want to stay on Lake Michigan. It does need some updates done and I feel could have been cleaned a little bit better. One hallway had all the ceiling bulbs burnt out and some of the other lights were burnt out as well throughout the house.

Great home for our family Christmas. We loved the fireplace, so cozy!

The views are amazing. The floor plan and set up of the house were perfect for our group of 10 and would have been just as perfect if we had brought 4 more kids.
The house amenities are showing some age but everything worked as advertised and the views...the views are so much better than the pictures suggest.
I did have one email to the property manager go unanswered but she was very responsive to text messages once we arrived and she was very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely rent the property again!

Our favorite part of this house was the views of Lake Michigan! You can see the lake from almost anywhere in the house. We also loved the outdoor area- the pool and jacuzzi especially. Overall a great experience and a clean house.

The house was immaculate and showed better than expected. The pool, hot tub, and decks were awesome, but, the view was the best part of everything. This was a perfect place for all ages and large enough for personal space if needed. We all voted and it was unanimous that we will be back. We honestly do not think we could find a better place for a large multi-family vacation.

3rd time staying here and each stay is better & better. The sun sets are the best. We had our children, some of our grandchildren and even 2 of our great grands there. The house and pool are always in great shape. Just a wonderful week. Hated to leave.

This was a great home for our extended family group vacation. Everyone had the space they needed and we were able to enjoy all the amenities. It's easy to get to the shops and restaurants in town, but you are a little bit away so it's very peaceful and quiet. Communication with the host was easy and fast. And above all, the view is amazing!! Would definitely recommend this property!

The pictures of this place do it no justice; the views of Lake Michigan are absolutely incredible. The house is also perfect for a large group with plenty of places to sleep. The only problems that we encountered were there was only 1 propane tank full (2 grills), the hot tub was out of commission and the trash bins were already overflowing when we got there....so there was no where to put trash. The raccoons going into it one night and spread trash all over the yard. These are minor inconveniences and do not reflect the house or the trip in general. We had an amazing time and will definitely book this again in the future!

Wonderful property!

Overall the view is breathtaking couldn't have asked for more. AWSOME!! We rented it just for that. However, my overall thoughts are that the kitchen needs some attention. The stove top is electric and badly needs replaced/updated, 4 burners aren't enough for a crowd and it is in horrible condition. The double ovens are also worn and should be updated. The island counter needs replaced it has duck tape holding it together. The outside grills were dirty. The hot tub was broken and we were not informed until a few days before our arrival. The faucets in the bathrooms need attention/repaired. A handy man for a day or so is needed for the attention to details and fixing things that are in disrepair. Towel bars in MBR would be nice too not sure why they don't have them installed for the large groups that come. We stayed on Marquette 2 years ago and were on the east side and therefore didn't have a view of the lake. The house was pristine which I can't say the same about 1371502.

This house and the property are amazing. We had so many activities planned and ended up skipping half of them to stay at the house and soak up the sun and fun by the pool and hot tub. The house is perfect for large gatherings of friends with plenty of open, yet separate spaces to mingle. We'll definitely be back!

My family and I have been staying in the area for years and this by far has been our favorite house! Beautiful views and outdoor space. An added bonus was how stocked the whole home was. We were able to celebrate my nieces birthday by baking a cake! Thank you again for everything. Our family would definitely recommend.

Exquisite views & sunsets. We had the best weather imaginable. We all said we'd like to do it again. Heather G was very responsive to all questions & concerns. A memory for the whole family.

We took our children here and the best thing about the property is the view from the upper deck. It was gorgeous! All my friends want to know about the home because of the photos we posted on social media. We had a few issues but the property manager was very attentive and responsive.

Will definitely rent this one again. Great amenities, view, location and house. Just wish check out was at least 1 hour later.

We spent 10 days at this house in New Buffalo and had a few groups of friends join us for a couple of days during our stay. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate all our guests. The property manager, Heather, helped to arrange for extra cleaning services to change linens and clean bathrooms between groups of guest. She was very responsive by text and took care of the minor repairs that were necessary. The pool pump had been damaged during a recent power outage and it was replaced during our stay. The location on the lake and walking distance to town was perfect. Gorgeous sunsets, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, and gathering on the covered porch was enjoyed by all. There were lots of towels for use by the pool. Two large grills made cooking easy and we ate all our dinners on the upstairs deck. We also enjoyed gathering at the outdoor fire pit and making S'mores. You really are paying a premium for the location and outdoor space. The house itself is spacious and generally well equipped. The extra refrigerator in the garage was very handy for storing all our beverages. There were plenty of dishes and glassware, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. Some of the cabinets were not particularly clean and we had to buy a brush and sponge in order to wash dishes at the sink. We also chose to purchase a coffee maker because the house only had a Keurig. In the main bathroom there was no towel rack or hooks for drying a bath towel or having a towel available after a shower. The furniture in the main area is adequate and there was a big selection of games and books. The TV setup was confusing and there were no instructions on how we could access movies or premium cable shows. Despite the minor complaints we really enjoyed our visit to New Buffalo. It was a nice place to relax and the house worked well for us.

Our family (includes our 3 young adult kids and their significant others) had a great week! The pool and hot tub overlooking the lake expanse was a huge hit -- heated to perfection with plenty of comfortable, well-maintained seating in both the sun and shade. The fire pit, upper deck and grill got plenty of use in the late afternoon/evening, again with lots of seating & tables. Every room and outdoor space capitalizes on the beautiful lake views. There was a huge storm and power outage (for 40 hours!) and despite that inconvenience we all loved our stay. It helped enormously that the Heather was so attentive! Without hesitation, she brought a lantern and hauled extra propane tanks for the grills, appeared instantly when we had trouble with the pool cover. She was available and responsive both before and during our trip and is hands down the very best property manager we have experienced through the years. Just so I don't sound too pollyanna-ish, a constructive criticism would be to update the Jack and Jill bathroom and organize the kitchenwares as well as the glassware is organized for easy use. The master update was greatly appreciated! Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors, and a quick walk to town and the public beach. Our tally is all 8 votes to return next year!

Lovely view but house was dirty and musty. Sheets towels smelly. Kitchen and cupboards filled with crumbs. Crumbs under living room sofa cushions. Hot tub broken. Pool side umbrellas broken. Price way too high for this dilapidated property. Lesson learned. Read the reviews. Photos Can be deceptive.
2.5 / 5.0
Experience was great. Plenty of room for the family and many more. The house is very close to the downtown area, so quick carry out, dining or grocery shopping is a breeze. Heather, the property manager, was great. Easy to contact and quick to respond. I would definitely consider another stay here. One downside (if you plan on having multiple families): The driveway is very short, and you cannot park on the street, so fitting more than 3 vehicles would be difficult, especially if the three are crossover or suv/trucks.
