This property was amazing. The staff was great and very easy to work with. They made our 3 day team building event a great one. If I had to find a complaint it would be the WIFI but everything else exceeded expectations!

What an amazing experience this was from booking through the end of our trip (and beyond!). The host (Rose) was very responsive, shared great information about the house and area ahead of time and was patient with changes we needed to make to our group after booking - the administrative part of the trip could not have been easier!!
The grounds are gorgeous - wooded with 2 treated ponds and an outdoor lighted basketball court. The ponds have everything you need to use them - kayaks, standup paddle board, life jackets, floats, toys, abundant beach towels and 12 Adirondak chairs around a firepit right by the ponds.
The pictures show the various spaces but don't fully capture how roomy everything is! We had 23 people and never felt cramped, even when we were all in the same space.
The bedrooms were spacious with very comfy beds. We added on the loft which provided a perfect space for the one part of our family with younger children.
Rose thought of every detail - plenty of towels, extra sheets and blankets, a stocked kitchen (we really appreciated the spice cabinet when we realized we forgot taco seasoning!), and so much entertainment!!! She also saved the day when I saw the stash of marshmallow roasting poles and realized I'd forgotten mine!
The area was perfect - we made most of our meals in-house but ordered from Penso's (LOVED it!), visited a winery and brewery and even the revolutionary war fort nearby.
We will definitely be booking another stay here!!!

This was one of if not the best we have ever stayed at. There is space for everyone and something for everyone to do. The communication is amazing and the house has everything you need. With all the attention to detail and personal communication, we felt incredibly valued as guests in this home. Do not hesitate to stay here with your large group.

We were thankfully able to find this house last minute after another reservation was canceled. This house was absolutely perfect for our 4th of July weekend vacation! Rose was absolutely wonderful and responded quickly to all of our questions! There was SO much to do and never once did we feel like we needed to leave the house: between the ponds, campfire, and game room basement. The house was also so cleanly when we arrived. Absolutely beautiful and we would LOVE to stay again!

We wanted to find a house that my whole family could stay in together while I was in town from Atlanta. I have stayed in quite a few VRBO homes and have never seen one as well stocked as this house. The communication and attention to detail from the owner was above and beyond. The house was extremely clean. The kids enjoyed the game room, the basketball hoop, the swimming hole, and the kayaks. Everyone enjoyed sitting out on the decks, the firepit, the hot tub, and being able to spend time together in such a beautiful home.

A fully equipped and spacious property for a large family (17 in ours) or a gathering of friends or a special event. The property and accommodations was well thought out. All high-end furniture, wall hangings, rugs, towels, game room games. The children came upon "fairies and gnomes " in hidden corners. The Narnia bedroom and Peter Rabit bathroom were very sweet and tastefully created. It is also a setting that encourages you to "disconnect". They have provided you numerous opportunities to spend time outside and have ,maybe purposefully, opted to only
have 2 tvs which are both in the gameroom. Large tables for large groups, numerous chairs,
solid stoneware dishes, stocked bar refrigerator with soda and water. Purposely do not have nicnacks around that could be broken. Hot tub was used day and night. Shower in the conservatory was awesome and tub on back porch was a treat. The basketball/pickleball/tennis court had daily action. Small children enjoyed the "beach" and older ones kayak races in the pond. Nightly gatherings around the firepit. You will love this property and all the accommodations they have to offer. Rose is a supercommunicator and always responsive. She understands the hospitality business and takes every opportunity to see that her guests are well cared for.

We continued our yearly guys weekend at this amazing location. So much room. A ton of beds and bathrooms. We spent a lot of time on the decks as well as the basketball court. Kitchen had everything we needed to get enough food prepared for each meal. We are already talking about which weekend we will pick for next year.

The property was amazing. We were able to have a multi-generational reunion on a property set in the wooded, rolling hills country side while being close to everything.
All the spaces; gathering, recreational and sleeping were wonderful and kept everyone engaged while reconnecting.
The host continually checked in from reservation to check out to make sure we were connected and comfortable.

This place was absolutely perfect! The host have put a lot of time and effort into making your stay as pleasant as it can be, and they know what they’re doing! This is a place that we will continue to come to. looking forward to getting our whole family together to stay there. Communication was great. And all our years of traveling this is definitely the nicest place that we have stayed. You will be hard-pressed to find anything better!

Our group of 23 stayed for three nights with people aging from 1 - 68 and everyone had a great time. We definitely plan on coming back! The property was great for hiking, sitting around the fire, playing in the sand, and playing on the basketball court. The house fit everyone comfortably (even with 3 babies) and the kids couldn’t get enough of the basement. Rose was quick to respond and great with communication before and after our stay.

The whole process was great! Rose answered all my questions. The house is very nice. The inside was so clean and well taken care of. Have recommended it already to friends. When we came in there was a balloon bouquet for the birthday boy, and a box of delicious cookies. You will love this place!

The property was so beautiful! It was secluded, private and had everything we needed! Our family stayed here for a weekend getaway of time together! It begin snowing the night we arrived, which added to the serenity of the home, but first thing in the morning, Rose text me to see if we needed plowed! They were there to plow promptly! Details like this give this home a 10 star rating!
The hot tub was perfect for a winter stay and if you don’t mind the cold, the walkways through the woods and around the property were still very enjoyable! We want to come back in the summer to enjoy it during another season.

I don't even know where to begin with the incredible experience we had at Middlehaven, but I guess I will start with that it felt like we were right at home. Rose provided everything that we could have possibly needed on site so we never had to leave the property. BUT if you wanted to go check out the town, she also provided information on that as well as promotions that you could take advantage of at local businesses. There is no detail left unthought of in this property, we absolutely will be returning to Middlehaven & hope to be able to rent out all of her properties in the future!

MIDDLEHAVEN WAS INCREDIBLE. This was my second stay at one of Roses homes. She is absolutely the best host and I never want to vacation anywhere else. The thought and effort that goes into a stay at her homes is out of this world. Not to mention, the home is beyond stunning. I hope to stay again soon. Thank you Rose!

We were so impressed by how welcoming these hosts were! We received a letter in the mail weeks before our stay, emails, & a welcome bag with goodies! So much thought went into everything on the property to make it family friendly.. from the stocked mini fridge to the dry kindling for a campfire in a waterproof bin next to the fire pit! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family!!

Just Wow!! This house and property is absolutely beautiful! There was 13 of us that were there for a long ladies weekend. We enjoyed everything from the set up of the rooms, to the comfy mattresses and the white noise in each room(bonus!) to the special treats left and the fully stocked kitchen (I mean, it is truly fully stocked!). Then you walk out onto the back deck and the beautiful nature that pulls such positive energy in along with the two ponds that bring such peace. The detail put into this place is above and beyond! We have been gathering for ladies weekends for 7 years and Rose is hands down the best hostess we have ever encountered!
P.S. - There is a really cool surprise in the lower level. Rent to find out what it is :)

Middlehaven was even better in person than the pictures portrayed. The house is large, beautiful, and filled with unique touches. The personal attention to detail is like nothing we’ve ever experienced. Rose is a dream to work with! There’s enough space for everyone to spread out whether it’s hanging out in the game room, sitting on one of two outdoor decks, relaxing in the family room, or playing games at the large kitchen table. The hot tub, fire pit and outdoor ponds were fabulous! If you’re hesitating, don’t! Just book it!

This house and property were exactly what we needed to host our friends/bridal party for the weekend of our wedding. We were so impressed with the house, the amenities, and seemingly endless things to do (between the arcade games, air hockey, hot tub, hammocks, swimming holes, basketball court... no one was ever bored!). Fully stocked with plenty of beverages, coffee, towels, soaps, paper towels, trash bags, etc., we never found ourselves running out of anything. The owners even stopped by at one point when we mentioned the paddleboards were flat (they pumped them for us!) and we couldn't find the balls for the foos ball table (they bought more and brought them over!). Things you might not even think of -- like having white noise machines in the bedrooms -- were included, and we kept noticing small touches like that throughout the house. All weekend, our whole group kept saying we wish we could make this an annual thing, and come stay here once a year. It really felt like our own private resort. So much fun was had by our entire group. Thank you for an amazing weekend!

This is without a doubt the best per friendly vacation we ever had! Middlehaven has every amenity that you can think of. From cookies at arrival next to a beautiful coffee/tea bar. To a beautiful fully stocked kitchen. Each bedroom is unique and elegant but also so comfortable. You instantly feel relaxed and at home. The basement is the ultimate fun zone! With big screen tvs, video games, old school arcade games, air hockey and limitless activities. Perfect spot for kids or to have fun between enjoying outside! Outside is the most private and beautiful view you could imagine. With two private swimming ponds, fireplace, hot tub, basketball court and a giant deck to over look it all. The only bad part of coming to your family’s place, is knowing it can’t last forever. The perfect get away with the most gracious and helpful host in Rose! We look forward to coming back and staying even longer.
