Horrible, avoid at any cost! I have never seen a place this bad

Nothing, this property is a scam, avoid it at any cost. Please also check recent Google reviews that describe the state of this place.

We reserved two rooms at the cultural crashpad on booking.com. The pictures presented, the description and the reviews on the platform for this hostel seemed satisfactory. Unfortunately, when we arrived the hostel was not at all as described. The rooms were tiny, damp and one did not have any windows. The staff were completely unresponsive stating that they in no way could help us and anything other than check in would need to be handled by the hostel manager. The hostel manager was not present and claimed at one point to not be in Hong Kong, this story changed later when they claimed he would be at the hostel "soon". We simply could not stay in the hostel due to the poor conditions and the extensive dilapidation in the building itself which is in extremely poor condition. When we contacted booking.com to try to revoke the reservation they simply told us that the manager had denied our claims of false advertising and claimed there was nothing wrong with the rooms. Our request to further investigate this by booking.com was flatly denied. It has become clear to us now that the owners of the cultural crashpad also practice review bombing in order to elevate their review score on various platforms. In summary, please avoid this place. They are incredibly dodgy and at worst can be described as scammers.

Don' t go there. It' s a prison, the room 2x2 m. You cannot move inside. The bed is like a stone, it' s better to sleep on the floor. The bathroom is small same. Cannot do a good shower

Старый дом, в котором ужасно грязно. Размер номера метра 4. Но! Со всем этим можно смириться, цена соответствовала. Первое что я спросил у персонала - есть ли в доме тараканы, на что они сказали мне - что нет. И когда в первый вечер я пришел в номер, включив свет сразу увидел таракана… Я не мог спать всю ночь из-за этого и уехал на следующее утро. Объект размещения отказался возвращать мне оплату за оставшиеся ночи, даже когда я предоставил доказательства… На фото - убитый мной таракан в номере 706 или 704 (точно уже не помню)

패밀리룸 예약후 새벽3시도착했는데 남자하나가 이미 방안에 누워있었고 호스트가 나가라 얘기하라고 해서 우리는 잘 들어왔는데.. 숙박명단 그 남자 이름 옆에 'paid'라고 적어놓은 상태.. 그 남자에게 호스트가 '돈은 받았지만 예약확정된게 아니라서 무단침입한거다'라 말했다는데.. 사장과 직원의 의사소통에 문제가 있는건지 다음날 아침에도 다른 남자하나가 리셉션의자에서 밤을 세운듯한 모습으로 호스트가 입실시켜주지 않았다고 하네요... 예약확정메일 꼭 확인하고 이용하세요. 그리고 방이 너무 좁습니다. 침대사이는 50센티정도로 두사람이 지나다니기 힘들어요.. 화장실은 샤워하면 모든것이 젖습니다. 변기는 똑바로 앉을 공간이 없어 옆으로 앉아야했고.. 편한 위치라 잠만 잘거면 가격대비 나쁘진 않습니다. 저는.. 가족룸으로 예약해서 가족이 갔다가 아이들에게 신선한 경험을 시켜주었네요.

It’s too difficult to find and the room has worse smells and dirty trash on the bad and the room.And my room was on the upper so I should climb the stairs to my bed .I always hit my head.And no hot water to clean my body.It’s all cold !I think I will have a sick travel…It’s a worst experience for me.

Do not book this place!

Location.

I can probably write a big essay about how uncomfortable my stay was at this place. Firstly, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Getting to the building and finding the apartment for check-in is itself complicated. Once you do the check-in you need to go to the other floor where the rooms are. I booked a bed in a 4-bed shared room. However, they checked me into a 6-bed shared room. Never in my life I have seen such a small room, absolutely no space to walk or even open the suitcase. Had a very foul smell, that's why the windows were always open. Imagine sleeping with open windows during winters with a very thin blanket/Sheet (which I think was only for the show and had no use). The bathroom was also very uncomfortable in terms of the shower or the door lock. If I compare the price and facilities, it's a total loss of money. The WiFi never worked on any of my gadgets during my entire stay. And lastly, if you are unlucky and have roommates with zero social etiquette, then that just makes the stay from uncomfortable to a total nightmare.

Good value for money in Kowloon

Pretty close to many points of interest in Kowloon. Hot shower, good wifi, plenty of power outlets in the dorms, friendly staff, free filtered water.

Very cramped dorms, no space to sit up straight in bed, tiny bathroom and you must lean over the toilet to get under the shower.

The staff was accomodating but only when present most of the time staff was not present.

The rooms and toilet is too bad. The door of toilet doesn't even have a hook to close. The upper beds don't have curtains, the electrical boards are not there, no place to keep bags or anything for that matter, some people would just leave them outside the room.

A good quiet place for you to stay for the night when you are traversing the city during the day

A clean, quiet place, with clean enough beds and facilities. The management is really nice and will do their best to ensure your stay is adequate. The location is also not too far from the metro, which facilitates the transport as a tourist.

The bathroom doors don't have locks, which is quite uncomfortable. The whole space is pretty cramped and there aren't any safe places to keep your belongings such as lockers or safes, except for the one at the check-in desk.

Not the best unfortunately

It was okay as an emergency overnight stay. The location is in the heart of a busy location. The staff were pleasant face to face.

Online communication was bad. No response to emails via booking.com. Difficult to find hostel. 6 people sharing a space where perhaps you should have only one bunkbed. In that 6 sharing room is an almost transparent toilet / shower room with no lock on door and very poor ventilation. Needless to say all the smell comes into the tiny room and all kinds of bathroom noises flood the room. No lockers or storage space either so I slept with all my belongings in my bed - on a triple sharing bunk. Very uncomfortable. I could share photos but don’t want to disrespect it further I would not recommend this hostel unless you’re badly desperate.

It’s the worst memory in this trip! When entering the room, I was shocked. Because it was totally different from the photo on booking. When opening the door, it was stuck by the bed. It couldn’t be fully open. Also our luggage couldn’t be fully open in the room!

The profile said the room has a bathtub in addition to the shower, but it wasn’t. I asked the owner via messenger but he didn’t reply back. Also, the sheets were not clean and had a lot of hairs.
