It was very private, we were the only ones there so we had a huge house for ourselves. It was clean. Great coffee machine. Very good italian restaurant "Pikas" 6mins away by car.
When we arrived, nobody was there and nobody was answering the phone calls. We got a little nervous but finally the host arrived 30mins later. Also it gets cold in November and the house was freezing. The host had put the heating but turned it off shortly after during the night. So we slept in a very cold room. Oh and the bed was not comfortable at all, if you're travelling with a princess that needs her beauty sleep.

The breakfast (I think it was €7,50) was nice and there was a choice of food for every taste. Boiled eggs, milk, jams.. simple, but nice! The hosts will respond to your needs. The location is a bit remote, in a residential neighbourhood, you need a car or an electric bike to get there easily, but this was what we were looking for! We enjoyed he pool and the surrounding area, it's not far from Guincho beach, if you're into surfing, and the ocean cliffs, perfect for hikes.
The price.. we felt it was a bit overpriced for a room, but the prices in Cascais nowadays are insanely high compared to few years ago, so this was a last-minute treat to ourselves to stay at a nice place with a pool!

Beautiful facility - great potential, owners very nice- tried to be responsive- just could produce
Bed not great- no A/C, no fly screens- windows had to be open- no privacy People marched by our our window and peer in as we lay in bed. Mosquitos bit my wife badly. Pillows flat, Owner went out to buy pillows (she said) but we never received them. Asked for an iron but there was no ironing board.

The location of the property was good, not to far from the Guicho area and also from the centre of Cascais. Our room was large as was the bed. There is a lovely big bathroom, although the drains were smelly. Everything was very clean.
We had access to a large sitting room and kitchen. In the morning the doors to these rooms were locked. There was a coffee machine in the kitchen but we were not told whether we could have used it e.g. to make our own morning coffee. We felt that £9.50p each for breakfast was too expensive, so we just left and had a lovely breakfast in Cascais
Despite 3 messages to the property asking about an earlier check in we did not get a reply. The parking was on the street. This was no problem as it is a quiet area. We never saw and were never shown the swimming pool.
The main problem we had was with the main door key which didn't work and we were left outside ringing the bell and knocking the door. Nobody answered. We were about to telephone the host when some other guests arrived and their key did open the door. Eventually the host came and showed us how to press the key to extend it. Pity he didn't show us beforehand We do speak Portuguese so there is no reason for the poor communication

The house was located in a nice and quite region close to the ocean.
The accomodation is not prepaired for the guests yet. The owner was only speaking portuguese and french, but he was very kind.

great location, a perfect stop from Lisbon to see Cabo da Roca, Sintra and Cascais. Our host was very helpful and kind. We were surprised to see the pool beside the house, unfortunately the water was a bit to cold for swimming. Rooms are big and everything is very clean. Our room had a balcony, big bathroom with jacuzzi and a special room for wardrobe...this deserves 10+!
nothing to dislike, this place is highly recommended!
