With an open floor plan, the cabin sleeps up to 5 people, including a trundle bed, a pull-out full-size sofa sleeper, and a twin bed chair. The large yard area and walking trails nearby offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, and swimming is just a short walk away or a 1/4 mile drive to the boat launch. Unwind and enjoy quality time with loved ones around the picnic table, fire pit, and grill. Other conveniences include an extension cord for charging boat motors, an outdoor water spigot, and outdoor lighting on the front porch and garage area. Book your stay now and experience the beauty of nature without breaking the bank! Hide out is truly a place that you will love to visit time after time. It is ideally located right off of Cooke Dam road. It is an awesome place to hang out!

Our stay at the Hide Out Cabin was a real treat! The location was perfect for our yearly family camping trip. We could easily ride our bikes to family campsites at Sawmill Point and there was plenty of room for us to park our boat when not in use. The cabin was clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated being able to walk the trail to the water front and that a fire pit was available for use. We felt very much at home and look forward to another visit in the future!

Great little cabin. Beautiful surrounding and very peaceful. I would stay again for sure. Fyi I had no cell recption on my phone which was fine w me but just a heads up :)

If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet place to just sit back and relax, this is the place for you. The cottage sits on a lightly traveled road, so there is very little noise from traffic. There is a nice path that leads to the river from the cottage where you can set up some chairs and just stare out over the water. There are tons of hiking trails in the area, a convenient spot to launch kayaks about a 1/4 mile down the road and a regular boat launch at the end of the road. Being a shorter trip, we didn't have time to check everything out that the area has to offer, so we'll definitely be coming back.

I suggest you let future renters know when you email the check in, check out process. I was in my “junk” folder, but due to no cell phone or internet service, we had to drive to Oscoda to get the procedures
