Beautiful property tucked into the mountains, tons to do in the area. Place was very nice.

Overall great stay. The house itself is pretty big, and I would say it fits ~9-10 people comfortably. It can fit more, technically, but starts to get a little crowded after that.
Hot tub was very good/new. Grill worked fine once we scrubbed the burners.
A lot of small things in the house are a little old/broken - some window handles, light in the master bedroom bathroom, etc. Nothing crazy.
The garage is very small - cannot fit an SUV. Heads up.
Good proximity to Breck - 10 minute drive to any parking lot there. Definitely have snow tires though, to get to the house.
Treehouse was pretty cool. You can get to it in the winter, it's close, and fine.
AvantStay was great to work with. Easy check-in, clear instructions, very responsive. The snow shovel that came with the house broke, so we purchased 2 more and were reimbursed quickly, no questions asked.
Overall great stay. Thanks again.

This property is very unique in a good way and so fun. It's a quirky layout and very custom building style, but clean, cozy and beautiful. There is plenty of space for two families to spread out. We had a total of 10 people in our group, 4 adults and 6 kids and everyone had their own bed. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect for the kids, boys in one room, girls in the other with a lounge area/shared bathroom in the middle. The boys liked the "secret passage" through the garage to get into the main area of the house while avoiding the teen girls room lol. The listing states the treehouse may not be accessible during the winter...but if there is a treehouse available our kids are going to figure out how to get to it! They used the snowshoes and sleds provided in the garage and forged their way down to it. And as the one adult who braved the journey herself, let me tell you, that is no easy feat....the snow is deep and it is quite the workout, but so worth it. This treehouse is amazing #treehousegoals! The hot tub was so wonderful after long days on the slopes. Overall, we loved our long weekend here and hope to return in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Overall, the house was as advertised, and the treehouse is super cool, but it had several issues.
The twin bed in the basement bedroom was broken on arrival.
The kitchen is well-stocked in tableware, glasses and cookware, but did not have enough silverware for the number of allowed guests.
8 guests staying for a week need more than four rolls of toilet paper :)
There were a couple other items that needed repair, but the two biggest issues were power outlets - they stopped working in the bathrooms halfway through our stay and we couldn't find any GFIs to reset them.
The biggest challenge was being informed the day of our arrival that the advertised dryer was not working and would not be fixed during our stay. This was a real issue given we were a party of eight skiers and hot tubbers who had packed with the understanding we would be able to wash and dry clothes! We spent the week with laundry/towels drying all over the home.
Other than a "we're sorry for the inconvenience" we were not offered any real compensation.
The property is beautiful, the views and the night sky spectacular. The location is close enough to the ski lifts (if I have to get in my car to get to a lift, it doesn't much matter if it's a mile away or five miles away).
The check-in/check-out process was stress free; communication with host was responsive and informative.
We had a lovely week as a family!

The house itself was very nice & tree house amazing. When we checked in the hot tub was working & didn't seem to have any issues. At around 10am the next morning 2 people let themselves into the property and started draining the hottub and moving some of our belongings that we had on the patio. We were never advised that someone was going to be coming into the property & at first we were nervous thinking it could be someone trying to force their way into the home. We felt that our privacy was violated but we tried to ignore it and hoped that they left soon. After fully draining the hot tub they left the property. We were not sure if the tub had been left draining or if they would come back. We contacted support to see what had happened. We were told that draining the tub during a guest's stay was against their policy & they should not have done it & the technicians that came out decided to leave the tub empty because the water pressure was too low to fill the tub. We grabbed the same hose attempted to fill the tub which took about 4 hours & even so the water was cold & didn't get past 77° by midnight. The next day as we were preparing to leave more unannounced strangers showed up, let themselves in the back & began attempting to work on the tub & moving our things. We asked them to leave & come back after our checkout time. This whole experience was not pleasant or relaxing. The only thing we were offered was a tiny refund that only covered half of the cleaning fee.
