Ryan is an excellent host! The property is clean and comfortable. As an owner, Ryan is responsive and kind. My group and I have stayed twice. We have gone to see Goose and Lake Street Dive at Thompson’s Point. Ryan’s place is within walking distance of the venue. Highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's place! From the moment we booked, Ryan was incredibly welcoming and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check-in. The home itself was spotless and very well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is excellent—just a short drive to downtown Portland, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Ryan was a great host who responded right away to any questions I had. The 3 bedroom upstairs apartment was spacious and well stocked. The location was convenient close to the airport, the highway, and downtown Portland. The ony negative would be the steep narrow stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you have trouble climbing stairs with luggage it might be difficult. I would highly recommend staying at this property and if we return to Portland we would definitely stay here again.

Ryan's house/apartment was perfectly located for us in terms of proximity to the Old Port area of Portland AND a large park to walk our dog in. I am recovering from major surgery and low demand exercise was critical to that recovery. Ryan's house filled all our needs. One consideration. The apartment (spacious - just as described) is on the second floor so climbing one flight of stairs is required to access the living space.

Ryan was really prompt in his communication and offered to give information on the area and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s clean and we were given everything we need to be comfortable. The park next door is nice, you can see it from 2 of the bedrooms. Where the home is located appears to be a safe area. Portland is interesting in that you can go a block over and the area changes. I would recommend and stay here again. Uber is less than $10 to hit up the breweries or get into town, only a few minute wait on Uber as well. Why pay a ton on hotels when you can stay at a lovely place.

Nice apartment with ease to Downtown and local breweries/restaurants.

This was a cute place, clean and quaint. The description of the property MUST indicate a steep flight of stairs. We are older women with some issues. If we didn’t have my niece with us to bring up our luggage, we would have been in a load of trouble

Great place. Further away from the Old Port than other places but not significantly different by car and MUCH quieter. Ryan a fabulous host.

My family and I stayed at the VRBO for a wedding weekend! We were a quick car or Uber ride to the city, the ferry terminal and hundreds of restaurants. Overall, a lovely large comfortable space next to a wonderful playground and park with easy off-street parking. The apartment was well equipped with adequate essentials for comfort: great beds, fans, lighting and air conditioners. The host was extremely pleasant and willing to help in any way possible to make our stay in Portland a pleasant experience. But it is important to share that the stairs were very steep to the second floor for anyone who was older or had a physical handicap. Also, the kitchen needed a few more basics like chairs, foil, and sugar for coffee. We would love to come again to explore Portland without the formalities of a wedding !!

Came to Portland for Guster's On the Ocean music festival and couldn't have been happier with property.
Easy walk to venue, quiet neighborhood right next to a park, and perfect 3 bedroom layout for our family.

We had a great, relaxed stay. It worked great for us, our kids, and dog. It’s right next to a nice park and 5-10 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go in Portland.

We were so happy to be near a big park for the dogs to run around, as well as have proximity to Thompson Point, where we could grab a quick beer at one of our favorite breweries (Bissell Brothers). I found myself also able to run on a nearby trail, which was quite a nice surprise. The house was only a few minutes from downtown as well - but not so close that it was busy in the neighborhood - which was perfect. Our hosts were very considerate and we were welcomed to check in a bit early, with a lovely bottle of wine and some treats for our two furry friends!
