Topsail Island: Topsail Island (pronounced “Topsail”) is one of the best-kept secrets among East Coast beaches. Located along North Carolina’s southern outer banks, Topsail Island is a 26 mile long barrier island of spacious sandy beaches and tranquil maritime forests. It’s hard to discover such a place today as friendly and casual, with such pristine sand and surf, water sports, recreation, fine dining and shopping adventures. This is Topsail Island located midway between Wilmington, to the south and Jacksonville, to the north.
The island consists of three towns, North Topsail Beach, Surf City, and Topsail Beach. The two mainland towns of Sneads Ferry and Holly Ridge complete the section known as the Greater Topsail Area. Two bridges allow access to the island, a new high rise bridge on NC Route 50 to Surf City, or by NC Route 210 over another high rise bridge in North Topsail Beach.
Climate: The climate in the area is typically seasonal and generally mild. Summers are warm with lots of bright sunny days that are great for all outdoor activities. Winters are short and mild. Spring averages a temperature in the 60’s with scattered showers ending as quickly as they start. Fall brings cool sea breezes and an average temperature of 65 degrees.
Activities: Activities are abundant on and off the island. Swimming, sun bathing, surfing, shells and sharks tooth hunting, dolphin watching, golf, deep sea charter fishing, fishing piers, surf fishing, jet skis, parasailing, miniature golf, go carts, water slides, kayaking, scenic boat tours, scuba and snorkeling, sailing and motor boating in the sound, Intracoastal Waterway, or the ocean.
The Topsail Island area is a special place to enjoy a wide range of recreational activities or to just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, star-filled nights and bountiful native birds and other wildlife in a serene atmosphere. Come for a visit or a lifetime!

Property was very nice. Parking under building quite tight for full size vehicle, unable to fully open door on right side and have to position between post to open door on outside and not enough room to walk between vehicle and post.

Family really enjoyed the house. Very quiet in the evening.
Relaxing environment. Three story home, so there are lots of stairs. House keepers need to step up their game. We found lots of dust bunnies and items under furniture and beds left by previous tenants.

Property as described, nice newer home. Be prepared for a lot of climbing. We managed but if you have a hard time with steps there are many. Most places seem to have levels you have to climb due to location. Cleaning could be better, floors underneath everything very dusty and found items under them. Counter needed to be wiped off when arriving. They make you put bedspreads back on so they are not washed. I washed ours because it had something on it. Also washed the 2 queen size and other king. I did notice the full size spread had something on it also. Baseboards need dusting and cleaning. I didn’t complain as I didn’t want a cleaning crew back in. I definitely did not like the idea of putting bedspreads back on knowing they should be washed. Linens are near 300 extra to rent, the closet of beach stuff is an additional 275.00 to unlock. So plan on nearly an additional 600.00 to your rental price. We did love the location and the home is nice, just a block from beach entrance and you can see some of the water from the upper deck. A little privacy curtain for the deck from the next-door neighbors would be nice, feels like you are sitting with them. We rented a golf cart and loved having it to get around. Overall the place is very nice and the location. The cleaning is lacking for sure, I also cleaned the slider doors so we could see out. I noticed the cleaning crew for the home next to us cleaned the sliders, different rental company. We would rent again but maybe smaller.

Nice home just across the street from the beach. Both porches have great views and island breezes. As you can expect from a new home the kitchen is nicly appointed but also limited with cooking utensils. Gas grill is great but no grill friendly cooking utensils. Steps are a bit steep and could be an issue for people who have trouble with steps. This review is not ment to be negative just informative.

The house is new, clean and spacious. Although the cleaners might want to sweep under the beds, we found a dollar under one
and lent and dust. Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean. Out door grill works and has plenty of gas. Out door shower works. Love the keyless entry. House could use a hand mixer and a crock pot. The parking is good, could fit 4 to 5 cars/ trucks in the drive way. The sapce under the house is a little tight when parked and trying to unload. There are approximately 32 stair steps from ground floor to main living. Main level proch only has 4 chairs. For a house that sleeps 14, would think that would have at least 6 or 8. House is very spacious and new. Outdoor shower needs a shelf for soap/shampoo and some hooks for clothes and towels. Beds are very comfortable. House could use a broom and dustpan. Has vacuum though but is heavy to take up and down stairs. Great breeze on the deck with water views. Bathrooms could use nightlights. Top floor small window above the bed needs a shade. Water hose is great to spray off beach stuff. Top floor mini split ac unit didnt really keep up during the day but would cool off enough at night. Overall this house was great for my family. Would stay again.

My family enjoyed a wonderful week’s stay. I loved the 4 bedroom/bathroom layout. Everyone had their own space within the house, which was perfect for myself & my husband, my daughter & her boyfriend (in their 20’s) plus their dog, along with our youngest kids (14 & 15 year olds). Just down the street from a public beach access and a quick drive to area restaurants and shops.
