Great spot, friendly, comfortable bed and very convenient if you have a car.

Air conditioning, decent sized tv, comfortable bed, quiet. Helpful staff.

There was no breakfast, which wasn't included but would have been convenient to be able to get (and include addition in price).

Lovely, peaceful, quiet … great value.

We were fortunate in having the room depicted here. Mind you I’m sure the other rooms were equally lovely … but wow. Lovely quiet spot up on a (steep!) hill. Room was cleverly planned, taking an old room and fitting out with modern amenities. Loved it. Host was great. Not intrusive, but just seemed to be there if we needed something. Security is quite stringent at check-in, but I like that. There is comfort in knowing that the people over the hall were ID’ed thoroughly.

Nothing. Just lovely. Maybe difficult to negotiate if you are mobility impaired.

Comfortable and clean

Nice big shower, great view, clean and modern place, nice bed. Close to the city, and also very friendly host! Couldn’t fault this place, nice place to stay, very clean and also very safe.

Wonderful stay thank you.

It was an added bonus to have access to breakfast and wonderful company from the host. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed the location. There were beautiful views from the deck.

Exceptional

We had a great time at Oakley's House. The room was very nice with an ocean view. We especially liked chatting with the owner. He was very knowledgeable about the local places. He even offered complimentary breakfast and makes great coffee. :)

Great value for money in a spot very close to the city.

The room was quiet, and I had a great sleep. The room was heated by a heat pump and was very cozy and warm. The bathroom was small but nicely renovated and clean.

nice experience

the house was located at half top of a hill and have a good view of the city. The house owner was warm hearted and good talking. The room is spacefully and good feeling.

the hillside road is a little steep and should be carefully to enter or leave the house

Functional, comfortable, with very obliging hosts.

The breakfast had a wide selection including oats, always a bonus. My host made me an excellent long black before I rushed off to work. The views were spectacular over the harbour, but be aware that the location is up a very steep hill, either by car or on foot. The room was small and comfortable. It was quiet. The pillow did not suit me, being too thin. Overall a comfortable and functional room.

A pillow menu would be helpful.

Friendly and comfortable.

Staff were lovely, the rooms were also nice and tidy. Good TV for relaxing. Breakfast is basic but that's all you need - good coffee.

A little noisy from other rooms bathroom fans but other than that it was great.

A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Burnie. I’ll be back.

The hosts were very welcoming and I enjoyed chatting to Mick over the complimentary breakfast. He had great local knowledge. My room and bathroom was clean and modern and the view from the balcony was fantastic.

It was a little difficult to navigate to the property.
