Beautiful restored house! Loved the unique features. Pictures in the listing don’t do it justice! Much better then expected. Only complaint is the owner doesn’t allow you to adjust the air, he has to do it. House was HOT when we arrived but finally he adjusted the air for us and made it more comfortable. Check in and out were a breeze!

What can I add to the already great reviews?
When you enter the house , you can feel this is not your regular rental. The furnishings and memorabilia, nostalgia can be felt. However the appliances are modern. So a combination of old and new.
WIFI, TV Work great. Lots of hot water. Can't believe there's also a USB charging outlet! The house is spotless. All the basics you need. The beds are extremely comfortable. Entry is secure. Check in ,Check out smooth. Space to sit outside and enjoy.
Area is quiet and safe. Short drives to Chiefs training camp, stores and restaurants.
James is readily available to answer any questions and concerns.
Thank you James for hosting me and giving me the opportunity to experience this beautiful house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. My elderly mom was with us and we had a wonderful time and enjoyed looking at all the antiques and the detail in this home. Anything you could ever need is provided for you and everything is so neat and clean. My mom didn’t want to leave. It was close to everything we did in Saint Joseph.

Our family really enjoyed the stay! The house is extremely well kept, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. Host is very easy to communicate with. The house is very secure and there is a good alarm system--not their fault, but house is not situated in the best part of town.

Property was the perfect area for everything we wanted to see and visit. So enjoyed the renovations of the old mansions around your house. And the renovations you have done yourself. You still kept the old but renovated with just enough new to make it comfortable. Thank you! Tracy

The house is beautiful. Great beds (super comfortable). A lot of kitchen essentials already in the home, no scissors unfortunately. Best part was the patio, such a nice little area.

Everything I needed (and what I didn't but you might!) was readily at hand in this historic treasure of a home. The only thing missing was milk for the cereal!

Probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Loved all the little details and the kitchen was stocked with necessities. I want to buy this house if I ever move back to the area 😀

We were visiting St. Joe for a week and the house was the right size for everything we needed. The interior was nicely furnished and had a few extras, such as laundry detergent, coffee, etc. The location is closer to downtown, but nothing is too far in St. Joe. The owner has control of the heating and cooling, but was very responsive when we asked for it to be adjusted.

Everything was clean and well maintained. Check in process was effortless. I would recommend this property to everyone. The beds were extremely comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Slept great. Kitchen was stocked with all necessary items. Host has lots of history through the house to look at and learn about early St. Joe. We give it five stars

Such a beautiful property. So full of history and art. The music gives this home a unique setting over other properties. My grandson and his girlfriend spent most of their time on the piano, which I love. James is an awesome host, all requests were handled very quickly. Will definitely consider this home again. Thank you James.
Thanks
Bret

Good location, great decor, well stocked kitchen. Has a record player and various records which was great. Beds were super comfy and shower was hot. Would recommend a cooler temp for summer, but that's more a personal preference. Would recommend.
