About this house rental
In the heart of central El Paso, this 2000+ square foot home, built in 1910 invites you and your group to spread out and relax together in the chill vibe of a vintage jungle.
Take in the sunset on the Franklin Mountains or cook a meal in the fully stocked kitchen
After a long day, sleep in ultimate comfort in a new Hybrid King sized bed
*The house has two floors
5 Min Drive to UTEP
5 Min Drive to Downtown
3 Min Drive to Sierra Providence Hospital and Medical Center
12 Min Drive to El Paso Airport
The space
The house is part of a Triplex. Part of the house is sectioned off with an outside entrance to a long term tenant who is very quiet. You likely won't hear her, just be aware there is one shared wall.
The 3 bedrooms are upstairs. One full bathroom upstairs, one full bathroom downstairs. There are two staircases. One that leads to the living room, and one that winds down towards the kitchen.
Guest access
You have access to the entire house and front porch exclusively. The area in the back is available, but not set up yet. It is shared with the two (or one) long term tenants in the back building.
Other things to note
Please be careful on the stairs, and watch your head coming down the main staircase if you are taller than 5'10"- people used to be a little shorter in 1910 when this house was built!
1 block away is the Brown Street Market, a very hip and historic neighborhood market that sells teas, sandwiches, groceries, cold beverages and beer, etc.
3 Blocks away is the International Museum of Art
Fit Lizzy's is right around the corner, drop in fitness classes and personal training
Check out Brave Book Store on Arizona, just two blocks away, to find your next vacation book.
A walk around the neighborhood will take you back in time. All the buildings and homes reflect the history of El Paso from the early 1900s.

The Jungle House was what we needed for our stay over the holiday. The house is much bigger, the architectural details are nicer, the house is easier to navigate than the pictures share. Amanda is easy to get a hold of and she treated us like familial guests and not strangers. I would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to El Paso!

Very quiet old house. Communication with owner was easy. Really, honestly, no cleaning fees! Great value. Watch out closing the metal screen door as I accidentally smashed my fingers.

What a beautiful historic home! I grew up visiting my grandparents in Kern Place and this home brought back such sweet memories. The 7 of us had plenty of room, and really enjoyed the views and decor. The kids were enamored with the staircase and you really don’t see this type of intentional architecture with new homes . We will be back

Perfect & affordable for a group of friends in town for a wedding. Enjoyed the historical architecture and craftsmanship of this unique home. Plenty of beds and hot water. Porch was great. Lots of character, and very close to some great locations in El Paso.

From start to end our stay here was fantastic! We loved the beds and how nicely decorated everything was. The kids loved being able to watch movies in the living room and the adults loved how spacious everything was. Overall we loved this home and will be staying there again if we come back!

We really loved this beautiful property in El Paso- the location was great. The neighborhood itself was quiet, even at night- despite the downtown location we didn’t hear much from the city. It seemed central to every where we traveled while visiting.
The property itself is lovely- nicely decorated, large rooms and spaces, and stocked with amenities. When available, I always chose a rental home over a hotel and places like this are just the reason why. CLEAN, plenty of towels and blankets, toiletries- feels like home.
Thank you for sharing your home with us, Amanda!
