Villa Cecilia is located in the famous town of Quartu Sant'Elena , 5 minutes drive from the beautiful beach of Poetto, just 30 minutes from the famous town of Villasimius about 20 minutes from the historic center of Cagliari ;for those who do not want to use the car all the services you need can be reached on foot, bus stop, hypermarket, discount. The house is in an excellent position to visit the south-east of Sardinia, from Cagliari to Villasimius and you can easily reach the area of Costa Rei and Muravera.The property is on two levels ,with a small outdoor area for outdoor dining. At guests' disposal there is a large parking area , near the villa. Today the Poetto is the undisputed 'sea' of the hinterland of Cagliari, one of the largest city beaches in Europe, as well as the most beautiful and frequented of the island, a favorite destination for visitors to the capital, in summer and on any sunny day in the rest of the year: It is also obligatory for a coffee or an aperitif accompanied by the sea breeze. A few kilometers from the center and the port of Cagliari, the beach extends from the secluded and relaxing Margine Rosso, in the coast of Quartu Sant'Elena, up to the Sella del Diavolo, which increases its charm dominating Marina Piccola: inevitable walk in the marina. From the Spanish tower at the top, called 'the poet', perhaps comes the name of the coast, although the most probable hypothesis is the derivation from the Spanish port (port). You can climb up to the seventeenth-century tower along the promontory from Calamosca, with a route of one hour, beautiful at night. On the opposite coast of the 'Sella' hide the lovely and sheltered beaches of Calamosca and Cala Fighera. The beach of Poetto is wide in all its extension, the water is clear and the bottom sandy and low for tens of meters, ideal for children’s play.
