Nature-lovers will be in heaven at this charming home, set into a managed meadow and offering access to the VAST trail network right out the back door. Wildlife abounds near the home, and clear skies bring a jaw-dropping view of the Milky Way. Spend summer days hiking, mountain biking, exploring state forests, or just wandering through the boutiques, coffeeshops, and restaurants in Stowe, around two miles away. Wintertime visitors will love the mountain views, not to mention easy access to Stowe Mountain Resort, just under 10 miles away.
At home, spend time listening to the birds and watching for wildlife on the private back patio or covered front porch, then step inside to enjoy an open, airy layout. Gleaming hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, skylights, picture windows, and a flowing floor plan all combine to create a comfortable, spacious spot to gather. The chef will love the modern, open kitchen, outfitted with all the appliances and counter space they'll need to whip up mealtime masterpieces. Grab a bite at the kitchen island or sit down for meals together in the adjacent dining room.
After a day on the trails or mountain, unwind on the velvet sectional while you stream the latest release or use the free WiFi to post the day's pics to social media. A formal living room with a cozy wood-burning fireplace and an enormous library of books makes for a cozy spot to catch up on your reading. End the night around the firepit outside, roasting marshmallows and admiring the night sky. Four serene bedrooms upstairs promise a restful night's sleep - another dreamy day in the meadow awaits tomorrow.
Although the house does not have air conditioning, and can feel warm upon arrival, guests should open windows and turn on the whole house ventilation system, for perfect temperature during summer days in Vermont.

The house is beautiful and I am a gardener and the grounds are lovely.
The first few days we were there the temperatures were in the nineties with heat indices in the high nineties. The house is not air conditioned but at least window units in the bedrooms and kitchen would have made it much more comfortable. In the evenings it would take until 9 or 10 o'clock for the house to cool down. The fans were not enough help. With global warming, these temperatures may be much more common. Later in the week the temperature and humidity dropped and it was much more comfortable.

The spacious house - 4 bedrooms and 3 baths- was perfect for our group of 7. The peaceful country setting was a bonus!

Overall very good. Kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very nice. The sidewalk in was very icy and we had to buy salt to make it safe. Also, the service (Vacasa) that manages the property was very quick to respond to requests. Please note that you do not deal directly with the owner here, rather a property manager.

This was the perfect house for a three generation family get together. Many stories of trail bicycling, and rec-path excursions and the British Invasion Car Show were shared at breakfast over the expansive kitchen island. The house and setting were nothing short of stunning! We hope to return soon.

This house had everything that we needed for our stay. We are a family of six and we had ample bedrooms to accommodate all six and more if needed. The kitchen is well stocked and the yard is beautiful. We enjoyed our time outdoors. Stowe is about a 3-5 min drive from here and would definitely recommend this home for anyone vacationing around Stowe.
