The Old Post Office provides a wonderful base to explore the beautiful countryside of Dedham Vale, closely associated with the works of John Constable. The cottage features in his painting, The Stour Valley from Higham.

Dating from the 1600s, this property has a wealth of features including exposed beams and fire places and provides a perfect property for a family get-together, allowing you to have a relaxing and peaceful time exploring the local area.

The charm of the original features such as the oak floor upstairs is balanced with the modern amenities of a well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms and comfy beds. There is a separate dining and sitting room with the original old post office situated at the front of the cottage, providing a further room to relax in.
