At-home, clean. Carrefour is nearby. Breakfast was also delicious.

Ahmed who worked at the front desk and other staff men era were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel staff is very pleasant and eager to please. I travel often and these staff members are by far the nicest I have met in a long time! Great job to everyone !
4.3
Eileen Hotel is a lovely styled hotel that is well decorated with very nice Air Conditioning. The area was safe and the front entrance staff was very helpful and nice. If you require transport to and from the hotel, it's quick and easy, but if you're alone, be aware that the drivers seem to be third party contractors.
4.3
Excellent location with very professional staff, very reasonable rates , very close to tourist attractions, excellent free breakfast, all the staff members were very helpful, onsite Magic Carpet Travel that made all the arrangements for our tour with English speaking guide, very good experience, we were a family of 4 stayed for 10 nights visiting from Washington, DC
4.3
Great Service with good price live in central of Cairo, eat breakfast with good view

The hotel is clean and the staff was very nice and helpful

The Eileen Hotel is truly a gem in the middle of Cairo. It's in a historic building and the owners are taking care to restore in accordance with its history. But what makes the Eileen so very special are the people who work there. They are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. You feel like a family friend. The breakfast is included and offers a nice variety of options, including fresh fruit, which was important to me! The hotel is on the 6th floor of the building, which has an elevator. One thing to be aware of is there are some steps up to the building itself.
4.3
The hotel is well located and very clean.
We were first given a room that was not the one booked but they managed to amend this.
The room was simple but not expected more (maybe the photos are better than the actual state of the hotel), the only thing is that one of the beds was creaking at the slightest movement.
Be aware if you have a room near the kitchen, as some food for breakfast seems to be prepared late at night and if you’re a light sleeper you might not sleep well. On top, the fridge in the room is very noisy ☹️.
4.3
The hotel took all the stress out of seeing the sites. They arranged travel and guides when asked. He went out of his way to take care of all of our wants. Their were fantastic guides. The hotel was great. A decent breakfast everyday. I'd go back
4.3
My experience with the hotel was good so I won't bother with the minor issues I had. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of things you can eat. The staff was excellent and helpful. The hotel is well located, the Egyptian museum is a 10 minutes walk
4.3
As a solo, first timer in Egypt, with Cairo being my first stop, I wasn't sure what to expect. Staying at the Eileen Hotel made it all worthwhile. The facility, the staff were so so so wonderful and helpful and everything was great!! Highly recommend.
4.3
The hotel is in the center of Cairo, at night there is a lots of food options around the area, also the staff and service are very very helpful, specially Fedi the food that he prepare is Wonderful, the stuff is very welcoming 🌹 I will definitely book again on this property.
4.3
The hotel is very basic. It’s in the city centre but the area isn’t very nice.
The room conditions are clean but a bit run down and the Breakfast was quite basic.
Overall more like a 2* Hostal - not sure it merits the high rating from Hotels.com
Service was excellent and very friendly.

staff is so kind

Staff were so kind and helpful. Great location for us as we were able to walk to lots places. Room and cleaning services were great too!
4.3
The room looks dark and not very clean, same as the bathroom.
4.3
We checked in late night, hotel arranged for airport pickup at a decent price. Its entrance is not very appealing when we asked about it we were told it is a heritage building and they cannot change much. Room we picked was a big one, clean and bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast is pretty good, staff is welcoming and polite.
Overall good experience and happy for the services we got what we paid for.
4.3
Very nice and clean hotel for a good price. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. If you don't need any luxury and like to be in the very heart of Cairo (which of course is noisy... don't expect any silence in the city centre at any time!😉), reaching many interesting places by foot or public transport, this hotel is very much recommended!
Many restaurants, shops and cafés are nearby where you can meet locals and experience the authentic daily life of Cairo!
4.3
The staff were always very helpful. The breakfast was very good and a lot to choose from. Large bathroom, lots of toiletries. Located very centrally, 8 minutes walk to the Egyptian Museum and 10 minutes to the Nile.
4.3
The hotel staff was great, the hotel was in downtown. A lot of the travel tours would pick me up from there. The hotel had a free breakfast, and was next to a small convenience store where snacks and beverages could be bought at a reasonable price. The condition of the hotel itself was good. I had an issue with the shower as the drain was clogged and had water would drain at a very slow pace and water would get out of the small shower. The staff tried to assist but it was annoying to call them every time I showered. They did provide lots of towels to help with the excess water.
4.3
Great value. Close to shopping mall. Easily accessible for Uber.
4.3
This was one of the most amazing staffs I have ever met at any hotel. They all went above and beyond to make our stay great! We did 3 private tours through their Magic Carpet tours, highly recommend them all. When I make it back to Cairo I will definitely be staying here again❤️
4.3
This hotel was opened in May is quite brand new. So the facilities are still adjusting but the staff and services are very good
4.3
Eileen Hotel is located smack bang in downtown Cairo within walking distance to everything. The staff are nice and courteous. And our room was clean, nice and tidy. Breakfast was good at the hotel too.
4.3
I booked a single room for a week. It was really nice and kept very clean.
Pictures of the rooms online set a VERY HIGH standard, so even if they're clearly made digitally, it's impossible not to feel slightly disappointed when seeing it in reality. As I said the room was very nice, no need of using those edited image to sell it.
Location is very convenient, close to tahrir square, plenty of historical landmarks at a walkable distance, cultural activities, nice restaurants and handcraft stores.
Staff is super kind and help you deal with anything you need. They offered me some karkadè on arrival, helped me with the luggages and booked the restaurant for me. Through them I also booked the shuttle from the airport. They also exchange cash for you in EGP at Reception, if you need.
The hotel is on the 6th floor of what it looks like an historical building. Thankfully they have a lift, I mainly used it for the luggages cause I’m chicken, but it’s there and it works well!
Back to the room: it has a wardrobe, a cabinet for extra storage, a fridge, table with mirror, bedside table, airconditioning. Highlights of the bathroom are: bidet shower (GOD BLESS YOU EGYPTIANS for having this, as an Italian living in UK, this is the best gift!), 2 shower heads (one mobile and one fixed) and hair dryer. Only flaw: the shower leaks A LOT, it has nothing to do with the curtain, it comes from below the base. For safety, I would bring my own hair dryer, so that you can plug it in the bedroom.

Nice hotel and kind staff, very helpful

We enjoy our stay at Eileen Hotel! It's super close to Tahrir Square, making it crazy convenient. The staff? Awesome – so friendly and helpful. Plus, the price was fair, especially with breakfast thrown in. Only thing, the rooms look a bit roomier/ bigger in pictures than they actually are and the double bed is more of a large single. But overall, loved our stay!
4.3
This is a good hotel to stay in for a one week visit to Cairo.
4.3
We stayed here 3 nights at the beginning of our trip to Egypt and 1 more night before flying back.
The Hotel was really nice, we got a big bedroom with a nice balcony. Everything was super clean.
The breakfast was great, had a lot of international but also Egyptian options. My wife is a Celiac and they made more gluten free options for her.
The staff is extremely kind and did everything to make our stay better.
Would definitely stay here again!
4.3
The building is dirty and so it’s the area. The staff wasn’t great. We had to wait a while to be checked in because the person was cleaning a room. The room is average but the bath was terrible because every time you took a shower the water leaked and the bathroom got all flooded. Our room wasn’t cleaned one of the days we were there for no reason and then for the airport transportation they were an hour late. The only good thing is that it’s close to some of the city tourist attractions but I think it’s better to find something else.
4.3
Although there were some issues on the first day that required me to stay at another nearby hotel for one night, the problems were later resolved.
The hotel had excellent renovations, and the staff were very friendly.
It was located very close to the attractions, with convenient transportation, and there were also many restaurants around.
4.3
A budget hotel in Downtown Cairo. Friendly and approachable staff notwithstanding language barriers. Clean rooms with a humble breakfast spread. WiFi could have been better but otherwise fine.
4.3
Great location in downtown Cairo. Lovely warm staff who were very helpful. The interior of the hotel was also very nice.
4.3
The location was great. Within walking distance to many places to eat and shop. The staff was great at helping you organize uber lifts to get to other places like the bizzars.
4.3
close to everything in downtown, and the staff are friendly.
4.3
Very nice decorated room and convenient location in downtown. Great value for money.
4.3
This is a new boutique hotel, in
a heritage building in Downtown. Two floors 6th & 7th.
Loved the central location. Walkable to shops, banks, cash exchanges, metro, museum, Nile.
Many cafes, restaurants, shops in the area. The hotel is clean & the staff are very friendly, they are not intrusive.
I had no problem getting uber to pick up here. Sometimes an issue in Cairo due to traffic congestion and street access.
From other hotels, I had a few cancel last minute as they couldn't get access to the street.
The free wifi worked well. The TV, fridge, air-con are all good.
The breakfast is simple but fresh and adequate.
There are a few things that need attention. Given the friendly and helpful staff, I am sure this will happen with time and experience.
I booked a Royal room, with a king bed and a bath. The photo on Expedia of a Royal room was nothing like the room I got. I think it is was an artist's impression.
I was a solo but got a family room. A double and 2 single beds, no bath.
There was no towel rail/hook in the bathroom. The shower is new but the shower bed is not against the wall. There is a 6 inch gap between the wall and the shower bed. Water pools there, it is difficult to get it out of the gap with the squeegee. I had to keep my showers short.
There was no rail in the wardrobe to hang clothes and no hangers. I asked a few times but they didn't fix it.
The lift didn't go to the 7th floor, you need to use stairs from 6th - 7th floor.
4.3
When I first arrived at the hotel, I was really not sure. I am used to 4-stars hotels and up. But the kindness and helpfulness of the entire staff won me over. I totally recommend it for a stay in downtown Cairo (literally 4 minutes walking from Square Tahrir)
4.3
Everything was great, the location, service, food,
And staff, very professional and friendly
