It is such a lovely place within the nature and view to mountain Kilimanjaro. The tents and the area is very nice and comfortable. We definitively loved the outdoor bathroom and the cozy interior. Food is served at the restaurant and it is of good quality and delicious. We loved staying at this place for two nights. It is only some minutes away from the entrance gate to the Amboseli national park and easy to find.

Descent camp
Horrible road conditions at the entrance to the property, multiple 4x4 safari vehicles were stuck in the mud, needed rescue. Strongly advise to avoid this camp site until they they improve the approach road/driveway conditions.

This was a very strange place. When we arrived we were given a room with double bed , although we asked for a twin bed. A strong positive and a plus to the manager, that she arranged us a different option with separate rooms. We really appreciated. Rooms were strange but ok and clean, beds comfortable.
The place is built with ver poor quality. Idea of houses is nice but not implemented well. We had strangest and badly planned bathroom, with sloping floor. Hot water was there for the first day, second day we hardly had any water. Dinner place is sad with plastic instead of windows. For both dinners there was too little food, one had to wait until kitchen prepares some more fries or one more piece of fish.... One can stay there with these basics, and we managed, but I will never come back to this place!!

The staff was really friendly and ready to help out, both at the facility and during the game drives. The tour guide was FANTASTIC, and Happiness, who was at the reception and my point of contact, was super helpful and friendly. The food options were also pleasantly surprising.
Really close to the park.
Great views of Kilimanjaro.
The facility could use a little bit more maintenance to elevate the experience.
The furniture outside the tents was positively functional, but needed upholstery or more cushions/linen to make comfortable.
Takes a while to figure out how the hot water works.
Bring your own insect repellent.
The tv in the room did not work.

Close to Amboseli Park gate.
Kilimanjaro views.
Bonfire in the night.
Breakfasts.
Welcome juice.
Need to have private transfer to arrive there.
Prices of transfers and game drives provided by the place were overpriced, we booked transfers from Emali and to Namanga, plus game drive, all for half price.
During the day is difficult to be inside the tents since is very hot and smelly.
Armchairs outside the tent are totally dusty.

I enjoyed the surrounding views, closeness to the iremita entry gate. The food was good, staff were lovely and we will return .
Everything was great, it was rustic and not luxurious but we wanted a much more down to earth experience and it was great

Amazing view of Kilimanjaro and proximity for day trips into Amboseli without the massive surcharge of lodges inside the park! Cool location that was quite relaxing.
No hot water. Expensive for you what you get. Dinner was very average. Server stared at me the entire time while eating which was a bit uncomfortable.

it is a simple camp, nothing fancy, but the people running it are great. the room was comfortable and the food surprised me: it was very good. The best value if you visit Amboseli
