From the moment you walk into reception and meet your host, there's always a sense of calm and warm greetings to make your stay in a shared room enjoyable.
It did rain most of June while I was there, but it was a great way to meet other guests in the kitchen common area. Or, you could catch up on binge watching in your room where the AC is always comfortable. When it wasn't raining, there were many travelers enjoying the pool.
As July rolled in, I have to admit, it's a little warmer for most guests, which makes the evening so pleasant after sunset. A new vending machine was installed, so now anyone can grab a soda or snack when the kitchen closes at 10:00 pm.
Finally, night approaches, and being in a room with AC, and semi private beds, makes for a good night's rest. In the morning, staff is up at 9:00 am, cleaning the kitchen, then the showers and rooms daily. The host goes out of their way to make sure that both houses (Main house private rooms and back house Dormitory rooms) are always clean for new guests arriving daily.
It's still a great place, with groceries, restaurants, public transportation, and of course, Calle Ocho, the heart that beats strong here in Little Havana, all within walking distance.
Well, it does rain sometimes, but it's nothing compared to the great sunshine and cooler evenings.

Habitaciones cómodas, tranquilas; el baño muy aseado, en general una buena relación calidad-precio.
Solo dormí una noche y salí muy temprano al día siguiente, durante ese tiempo no encontré nada que no me haya gustado.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly, they genuinely care about the customers experience and answer all questions exceptionally. I highly recommend here short term or even long term if on a budget. It feels like a oasis in the middle of the city

Really good value for money for Miami.
Calle 8 is all you have near by and it was not that active.

I love staying here and wish I could stay longer. I've met people from all over the world and (with help from Google translator) love talking with them about their home and travel experiences. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the neighborhood is full of vibrant Cuban culture and friendly people.
As always, Keila runs a tight crew with cleaning daily. Sheets are always changed, even if a guest stays for one night, so be assured you will have fresh linens and towels on arrival. Also, she, with the help of Venny and the rest of the staff, go out of their way for all guest's requests. If you need anything, just ask. The kitchen (also a common area) is a large screened in patio, always hopping with plenty of cooking and lots of room to store food, as well as a great place to meet new friends. I can't wait until I'm able to return.
Still a little chilly to hit the pool as seen in the photos.

La ubicación
La habitación compartida muy pequeña no se podía entrar apenas en la cama de abajo

Good service from the cleaning and reception staff. Venny's hospitality contributed a lot.
my piece number 3, the air conditioning hits directly on the head, the next day already had a cold, logistics must be improved. The room has a tenant (n14) who has been there for more than 3 months as indicated by her. She is very rude and discriminated against two French girls who arrived. She insulted them with rude words. She tried to impose her rules in the room. control is needed.

I had booked a room at another place but it didn't live up to my expectations. So I booked this for a few more days and Keila made no fuss about accomodations. She is in a class of her own to make sure that guests receive the perfect attention and respect deserving a 10 point rating. Whatever the request, she goes out of her way to make sure the guests are always taking care of.

The staff was excellent. Had some trouble with a bad guest/room mate but was easily solve. Keila the hostel manager was brave enough to confront the bad guest & solve the problem well. I was scared to death but was assured by the whole team that all was solve & nothing to worry about. Thanks Guys.
I think they shoould be careful about having a local guests who are from Miami. Some hostels does not accomodate local guest.

The location was great, walking distance to Calle 8, many things to see. I extremely liked the opportunity to meet so many people from different countries. It was like a big family sharing ideas in the common grounds. The swimming pool was a plus. If I decide to go back to Miami , I won't hesitate to stay in the Blue Little Havana!!!! Thanks a lot!!!
Some little dressers or tables should be included in the rooms, especially in the ones only occupied by ladies.

Property was nice and spacious. Had lots of room to hang out and chill. The kitchen area out back was super nice!
Mattresses aren’t the best but it’s a hostel so I get it. Curtains in each bed would be a fantastic addition one day

Very clean and tidy room and bathroom. Privacy because of wood around the beds. Complete bathroom with enough toilet paper, hooks, shower door, mirror.
Bin, AC and locker in the room. Automatic lock on the door.
Complete and tidy kitchen with tv. Some nice seats outside and small pool. Friendly staff with good explanation.
Bus stop nearby. Ideally located between the airport and downtown.
Supermarket and some restaurants nearby.
I received a free upgrade to the women's dorm. Thank you for that, much appreciated!!
Some hooks in the room to dry your beachtowel/clothes would be nice.

Very cute and private rooms with 4 bunks. Manager was sweet and came to help me after they were closed.

It is walking distance from Calle Ocho
No real pool, it is tiny. No blankets or cover for bed, it got cold at night. No warm reception and little information about what to do, how to enter the place and where to do the check in when coming in. Didn’t like it, there are better hostels than this one.

An all girls room at the same price as the mixed room with female and male
4.0
The property was very decorative and I was a huge fan of the patio and outdoor space. The staff was friendly and helpful, although I never got to know the owners of the property. The pool looked as if it was well-used by the guests, and the other guests themselves were friendly.
The room conditions were sub-par, with little room to navigate. It was very cramped with people entering and leaving at all hours of the night, turning lights on at inappropriate times, and not having the space to give fellow guests tranquility and privacy. Additionally, the 9:00 AM housekeeping was spotty at best, with a constant shortage of toilet paper, dirty shower/sink, and other areas that were not cleaned properly. The room I booked was for 6 people, however in reality with the size it was, it should probably only house 4.
