Location was excellent, close to major attractions and easily accessible by walking. Close to restaurants and cafes. Love the way Emmanuel and George decorated the room. It was interesting and unique with a lot of wonderful art works. We enjoyed the breakfast, exceeded our expectations and the setting ‘ oohh la la, magnifique!! Emmanuel and George are excellent hosts, friendly and obviously love their city of Arles and willing to share all they know about places to visit during your stay.

Breakfast was great. Advice on what to see, and where to eat was excellent. Emmanuelle and George were very good hosts.
More clothes storage. e.g a chest of drawers.

Perfect location - everything in walking distance - but even better were the hosts. Emmanuelle and Georges made our stay even better than we’d expected by suggesting museums we hadn’t heard of or would normally not consider (the Lee Ufan). They recommend lovely restaurants with the expert eye of former restaurateurs. Emmanuelle, unasked, also researched transport options to St Remy, site of the movingly evocative asylum where Van Gogh stayed for a year. She even hung out our washing after we used her machine. Breakfasts were lovely, and we can’t recommend this place enough. Yes, it is quirky and hard to find. Yes, the bed isn’t’t grandly bid or internet strong. But this is a hotel that makes a stay even more memorable, and what more could you ask? Arles, of course, is a jewel, and not just for Van Gogh pilgrims.

Very Charming 17th century building, fantastic hosts who really enjoy providing you with all information on Arles and the neighbouring area. Great breakfast and the best location for visiting Arles

In the middle of Arles, a couple of minutes by foot away from all places to visit in small but quiet alley. Courteous welcome by the hosts, who gave us lots of tips for restaurants and sightseeing.
Because the studio is on the ground floor with a small courtyard, it is perhaps a little cold and dark when we were there in April; certainly pleasant in summer.

Very quiet, peaceful, great location and very welcoming and informative hosts

Lovely old building, amazing location, and wonderful hosts. We had a series of travel disasters (strike-related cancellations, delays, and rebooking). Emmanuelle and Georges were so gracious and helpful, and they also assisted us in sorting out some of the rebookings. We could not have asked for better, and we would absolutely love to stay there again. Many, many thanks!

Emmanuelle and Georges Brodl are a very nice couple, but I understand they don't provide the kind of hospitality that is suitable (nowadays) for everyone - some people might feel them a little "invasive", but that's only who they are, and they're sincerely interested in your trip and how it's going.
For me, it would be a ten, but some accommodation issues appointed by my wife kind of lowered it a little bit (keep in mind it's like a B&B and the autonomy is not exactly like a hotel's one, since Emmanuelle and Georges are the only ones working, so you have to be in direct contact with them in respect of times of arrival, schedule et coetera.
Keep in mind the place is very well located, close to the historic center of Arles (like 300m walk).
Hope to see you again someday! I was very pleased.
For some profiles of costumers I think they should be less intimate. And maybe the shower could be a little bit stronger.

Structure inside a historic 17th century building in the center of Arles. The rooms are furnished in a very elegant style and full of works of art. Large rooms and spacious bathrooms. Emmanuele and George have an infinite passion for what they do and they show it in every detail. They will be able to tell you anything about the city and all the beauties of the area with love and passion. Excellent breakfast in the entrance hall full of anything ranging from sweet to savory. Compliments!!!

Lovely bed and breakfast centrally in Old Town Arles. Wonderful old city with all historical sites, restaurants and river within easy walking distance. Rooms were artfully decorated and very comfortable. Emmanuel and George were super friendly and provided a lot of useful information about Arles and nearby areas including maps. Wonderful breakfast with fresh bread, croissants, homemade jams and eggs to order. As you can’t park at hotel George met us at the barrier and opened it so we could unload our luggage at hotel. He then rode with my husband to nearby free street parking. Highly recommend this lovely B&B.
Loved everything!

The location was perfect. everything in Arles is within easy walking distance. The neighborhood was as charming as Emmanuelle and Georges’ place. A very comfortable residence, as close to a home as you can get.
Seriously, not much. The wifi was ok, but could have been stronger. everything else was perfect.

Emmanuelle is the perfect hostess helping us with every aspect of our trip. She reponded promptly to messages in Bookings before and during our stay. She recommended (and reserved) some great restaurants. She gave us excellent touring advice (don't miss the Gehry LUMA foundation building). She booked our taxi to make sure we made the train. Oh and the inn is beautiful. Built in the 16th century and redone with perfect amenities (nice bath, comfortable bed, good AC). It is decorated a with art from her uncle, an art professor-a bit quirky, but tastefully displayed. The rooms are very large and there is a small courtyard for breakfast. The location is central in the old city, off a residential pedestrian street with no street noise, but within 3 min walk of several squares with good lively restaurants.
This is a bit difficult to find since Google takes you to the plaza about 20 ft from the house, Look carefully at the signs or look for Emmanuelle to give you direction.

Beautiful, comfortable bedroom, gorgeous and period building with a lot of character, fantastic collection of furniture and objects. Delightful breakfast in the patio. But most importantly Emmanuelle and Georges, the hosts made our stay in Arles an unforgettable one. We didn’t have to open a guide book, they sat down and told exactly what to see, where to eat and everything was absolutely perfect. Beyond their tips and recommendations, and lovely stories about Arles and it’s people, they were lovely people and we truly enjoyed their company.
Everything was perfect
