The Space:
Tucked away along a quaint road and set back from the bustling Mousehole Harbour, this romantic Cornish cottage awaits you. The Neighborhood:
Mousehole is arguably one of Cornwall’s most beautiful and most loved villages. Its historic fishing roots can be found all over, particularly in the picturesque harbour which is often full with colourful boats and the occasional seal. Watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch or simply enjoy the peaceful ambience of this traditional Cornish port. Nestled along the rugged coastline, come to enjoy breathtaking scenery, rich history, and a laid-back atmosphere.

There’s tons to do in the local area: from soaking up the sun on Mousehole Beach to visiting the local Bird Hospital, sampling ice cream or enjoying a pint or two at the pub. The village has a thriving artistic community, and you can explore numerous galleries showcasing local talent. Admire paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and other unique artworks inspired by the stunning surroundings.

It’s also a brilliant place to explore the South West Coast Path, particularly the stretch between Penzance and Lands End. Embark on a scenic hike along the rugged cliffs, and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline and the Atlantic Ocean. We’d particularly recommend visiting Newlyn, with its fantastic foodie ties, as well as the bustling Penzance and stunning St Michael’s Mount. This is a stunning little cottage, tastefully decorated and comfortable, and hidden up a quiet laneway. The books of local history were a bonus. Being in Mousehole, there is NO parking. We found a park on the quay and walked and bussed everywhere which was perfect. Note there is no hairdryer, but hey, you’re on holiday, right?
