About this house rental
Stunning home in Saignon
Air-conditioned vacation property with private pool. This charming wooden house in the Vaucluse in Provence is very comfortable and a little vacation paradise. Nestled in greenery, it welcomes you 4 km from Apt and just a stone's throw from the charming mountain village of Saignon.
The house has a spacious and pleasantly shaded terrace, a private pool protected from view and a summer kitchen with a view of the Luberon massif. The accommodation impresses with its spacious layout, high-quality furniture and high-end decoration. From the large living room with open kitchen you have access to the outside.
The peaceful village of Saignon is located on the border between the Luberon and the Pays d'Aix, not far from the popular lavender route. Built on a hill, the village overlooks the entire valley. Its narrow streets surround a twelfth century church. From the village, you have a great panorama of the Luberon Mountains, and on a clear day, you can glimpse the Giant of Provence or Mont Ventoux, as well as the former papal palace in Avignon. A number of marked footpaths run from the village. You can also experience the surroundings by mountain bike or horseback, and from Forcalquier (40 km) you can go high up in a hot air balloon for vacationers with strong nerves. The Forêt des Cèdres, the Colorado Provençal or ochre rocks at Rustrel, and the Village des Bories, a conglomeration of old, igloo-shaped stone huts, are an experience. Provence is a great vacation destination with a rich array of attractions.
Note: The property is on a slope and therefore unsuitable for small children and elderly guests who are not good walkers. The property is not secured.
