Small hotel a bit far from the center but ideal if you have a car and don't want to spend so much money on a hotel
Nothing to eat close by

The position is great for reaching Montserrat and the small town is very beautiful and fascinating.
The room was very clean and had all the basics you need, WiFi was fast.
As others have said the shower is very small, I’m 1,84m and very slim, but still it’s easy to hit the temperature control or the bottles holder with your back.
Still only a minor in inconvenience to an otherwise perfect experience.

Perfectly clean and good value for the price.
The staff was not speaking any English and was in general not very friendly. The walls are really thin, I've heard someone snoring in the next room and every step at the corridor is echoing throughout the halls and the whole hotel. There was quite a noise from the street even late at night. The parking in a street and everywhere around was full, the nearest public parking was relatively far for walking with suitcase and backpacks.

My third visit, and a home away from home. Rooms are incredibly clean and have all the basics you need. The staff are friendly and efficient. The town its self is very friendly with many bars and restaurants. Only an hour train ride with beautiful scenery, to Barcelona. So you can get the best of both worlds, and get away from the Barca craziness at the end of the day. For price and comfort it's hard to beat Ca La Irene.

Very, very, very clean
Good location. Nice lady when checking in. A/C worked well.
Room looked bigger in photos. Shower was rather small.

This hotel is located 3 stops away from Montserrat. Great if you don't want the hassle of returning to Barcelona on the same day after visiting Montserrat. It was cozy, new and comfortable. I had a good rest as it was quiet and the owner spoke Spanish but it was sufficient to explain the rules for me.
Location was good, a few minutes away from the train station.
There's a lift and everything was clean and room was exactly as pictured. Would return next time I visit.
Nothing! It was perfect

Good value for the price. Nothing fancy, but all essential was there. Friendly staff.
The WI-FI was slow and unreliable. The shower cabin was too small for me (5'8", not overweight) and even for my 5' wife.

My second stay at Ca La Irene. It feels like a home from home. Bright, clean, comfortable rooms. Basic but with everything you need. Family run, informal yet professional. I love San Vicente de Castellet, there's something about the place that really appeals to me. Great transport links and proximity to Barcelona. You could easily make day trips to Barca whilst unwinding in San Vicente the rest of the time. Some good local walks, with just enough bars, restaurants and local facilities. Highly recommended Ca La Irene! Great value for money!

A fantastic place! Clean, tidy, all the facilities you need. Great location.
I've been travelling across Spain for two months now (mostly in the Pyrenees), and have stayed in posh hotels, casa rurals, mountain refugios, and hostels. Its hard to beat Ca La Irene for Value for Money!

Cleanliness

Nice central location, not the easiest to find parking in front of the door but you won't have to walk far. Very friendly and welcoming staff. And the room was spotless, basic but otherwise perfect value. Good for a overnight stay.
As mentioned by others, the bathroom is too small. I kept bumping into the water tap with my back and I am a pretty slim dude :D

Ot is very clean and the stuff is very nice. There is a sweet balcony in the room. It is very centric and calm. Beds are comfortable.
The shower is a bit small and the the room was quiet tiny and in my opinion over decorated. There is no restaurant.

spotless clean, comfortable and definitely one to remember to come back to in the future.

It was very good value for money, clean and easy to find.
There wasn't anything I didn't like, to be honest, because I was so tired I just wanted to sleep as I'd driven from Monaco that morning.
