Un sitio con un encanto especial, llegamos mas tarde de lo previsto y Maria nos espero para recibirnos con una gran sonrisa y un abrazo. Una persona encantadora, su hija Belinda igual sin duda volveré a repetir.

Great location, very traditional house, very nice .
Disappointed that there was nowhere close by to get a coffee in the morning. As this is the case something in the casa would help

Very unique hotel built into a cave, a style of habitation that Guadix is famous for. Host was extremely friendly upon check-in. Hotel was located with a 20 minute walk of the cathedral, Moorish castle and main plaza in town. The apartment we stayed in had 3 separate bedrooms with 6 beds and a interesting design with many curved surfaces. Value was excellent and our stay was a true experience!
The only quibble would be that we did not know how exactly to return the room key since we could not locate the host at our departure time (we left the key in the mailbox).

It was great to have the opportunity to stay in a traditional and explore this area of Guadix, which is beautiful. The cave was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Maria met us at the shop and was friendly and showed us round. Parking was easy.
Nothing about the apartment, which was great. We stayed in early March and arrived late afternoon. We could not find anywhere open for a drink or food unless you went into the centre. Luckily we had enough supplies so we cooked in. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Fully equipped room with kitchen and bathroom. Can pay with card.
There was a problem to open the door.

Fun and quirky cave house. Had everything you needed and it was clean. Maria and her daughter were great hosts and recommended a good restaurant 5 minutes away. Great location to see the cave houses.

The property was very unique and was one of the "cave houses" but don't let that put you off as it was spacious and had all mod cons that you would need.
The hosts were helpful and were near incase you needed to know anything.
Very historic area
Bed - you rolled into the middle.
All the kitchen chairs were wobbly and felt unsafe (we used the outside chairs inside)

perfect size and a good location close to a cafe as it’s near the entrance to the neighborhood.

The welcome we received from Maria was great she suggested we brought the motorcycles into the front garden for security and explained how everything worked. The cave was comfortable and jolly. The location was fascinating and close to all the attractions. The restaurant recommended was also very good and there was a panaderia close by. The cave was fabulously cool on a very hot day.
It was all good

Massive experience to sleep in a cave, although the front of the house is regular build and the house leads in to the cave.
All facilities are there, not the most modern, but you can not expect that.
Even though it was 35 degrees outside all day, the house was nice and cool to sleep in.
The host, Maria, is lovely and shows you around and tells you al the workings of the house.
Location is outside the city center, but hey you need a rock or a mountain to build in a cave, so it's situated on the higher part of town

The host had issues with previous occupants of the cave we booked, therefore the check-in was pretty lengthy. However, everything was handled well.
Maria herself and people helping her were amazing and very cooperative. This was our first time in cave, so we did not know what to expect at all. Overall, very good place to stay in Guadix cave district, and one of the best priced.
Cleanliness and the state of some pieces of furniture could have been better. This does not mean that the cave was dirty and the furniture was falling apart.

Maria welcomed us very warmly.
We had a really nice stay, it was very comfortable, extremely clean and atypic.
We loved the quiet neighbourhood and the friendliness of the locals.

The location was superb. Close by to one of the miradors and many turist attractions. Short walk to city for the other brilliant sights.
The accommodation itself was the most authentic experience so far in Andalusia. None of your modern well polished soulless apartments. What you get instead is a beautiful cave house with a history. Same stuff you read about in the turist guides ;) And on top of that the place had all the equipment you might need to make your stay comfortable. The hostess, Maria, was amazing! Such a lovely and warm personality :) Despite the language barrier we understood everything and got directions to nice place for something to eat. Would definitely stay again.
If there was one thing to complain about would be just becouse it was windy and I am a light sleeper: the curtain stripes on the outside door were making some decent noise. Nothing that a pair of earplugs wouldn't fix;)

María's lovely warm welcome.
The strong smell of disinfectant/insect spray, the fact that the acommodation wasn't clean (totally unacceptable, especially in times of Covid) and it was hot at night. A fan should be provided for the summer months.

Fab location, really quiet. Only a short stroll down to the town. Lovely hosts very welcoming. Stayed in the 2 bed cave house so comfy. Open fire to cook on. Will be coming back in the warmer weather to check out the BBQ on the terrace.
Only had the chance to stay for one night.
